1. I think every team will do their research before playing us and be well aware of the diamond. i don''t think its an element of surprise that makes it successful. Managers will set out ways of dealing with it but if the players perform the diamond will prove its strengths.
2.

I'' wouldn''t boo him, I''d be thrilled he was playing. Never ever rated him. Would take Forster over Green every time. Blame him for the US goal....yes Blame him for the World Cup....in part yes
would you blame heskey for missing a 1 on 1 us USA which would have given you a 2-1 lead? that is the same as a keeper making a mistake!
Maybe if it was an open goal, but Green''s save was far more routine than a 1 on 1 for heskey.
3. It was a good preview by Champions, its a shame the point of the thread has been completely lost in a copy and paste debate. Let it lie and get back to the original topic
4. Ideally I''d like to see another CB brought in. Nelson and Askou both deserve a crack at it but may well fall short and as someone else pointed out, i think its a bit naive to think Whitbread can become a regular given his history of injuries.
5. Hes better than Robinho though. I haven''t seen him either..
6. I would start with Jackson and Holt. If Holt is only 50/50 to make the game then I don''t see why we should play him when we have Jackson who will be sharper and Martin who is on good form.
7. After last years opener i don''t see any significance in pre-season anymore. Even Lambo says it counts for nothing.
8. Definitely. That or realise that its only an internet forum and find some other hobbies.
9. There is no reason to split up last seasons due until one of them drops form, then its up to Jackson to stake his claim.
10. The same can probably be said for most other posters in that I have very little to judge Adeyemi on apart from last years pre-season and a few short first team appearances, but nevertheless he is quite highly rated so it should be a good move for all round for the player and both clubs.
11. I thought he was pretty decent before getting his injury. Players are much faster in the championship though and Lambert knows best so whatever happens I''m sure we will be fine.
12. IMO hes getting at an age where he needs to fulfil his potential with a decent run in the first team. I cant see him getting that at Norwich
13. I reckon it will depend on whether Lambo can get Jackson in or not.
14. Why does the length of a thread annoy people? Burnley have a got a good keeper but I am pleased we opted for Ruddy. He is ours so we won''t be in the same situation next year, plus if he does well there is the potential for profit and he comes with good reviews as a premiership keeper.
15. His scoring record is pretty decent considering he hasnt been playing in a top end side.
16.

According to to Gillsconnect fan site it''s a done deal for £750k and Cody (years loan?)
Not entirely sure I would be happy with this.
I would have thought Cody could handle a higher level than that, with all due respect to Gillingham.
17. Just been speaking to a rangers fan who rates Smith as prem standard.
18. It isnt the hardest thing to predict if it does happen. Lambert says he wanted a striker in before going to Germany and today is the last working day.
19. Martin is a great natural finisher with both feet (goal again U''s the best example), Lambert has said this himself so Id be surprised if Martin wasnt a key part of the first team most year. I dont see why he cant score a decent amount of goals if the players around him can provide something.
20.

I would guess Jackson or Forster, but i got all the previous signings wrong so it could be someone completely different
Yep, that''s a big help thanks! [:D]
calm down.
21. I would guess Jackson or Forster, but i got all the previous signings wrong so it could be someone completely different
22. Id reserve judgement on Adomah until seeing him play, have to admit I have never seen him or Danny Green, or heard much about them. I remember after promotion to the prem everyone was harping on about Jan Kristensen, a skilled player who can use both feet...never heard anything of him since.
