I agree playing two strikers is wise, even playing the diamond on occasion could work for us very well, depending on the opposition though. Will you bash Hughtons managerial style and the 4-4-1-1 if it keeps us in the league? What about IF we beat united away, playing the same team and formation who beat them at Carrow Road? I think this could be good, bit of variety in music for a change, could end up with someone picking out some right classics that might get a few people a bit more active before the game and build a bit of an atmosphere for the players to walk out to because i think they''d rather hear that than any walk out music

I think hes an awsome siging, i know everyone seems to turn their noses up at SPL players saying they havnt got the quality to play in the EPL but id highly disagree, at least if you play for celtic/rangers you are in one of the best teams in the league and there for other teams to try beat you, you will have played in europe at some point, not to mention playing for celtic/rangers is obviously going to condition you for tough games and how to play in diferent kind of atmospheres created by the fans (hostile/dead)  all good experience if you ask me. Not to mention hes going to be busting a gut to play for us, this is a make or break move for him, for any rangers player thats moved on to be fair, because even though they are now in the scottish 3rd div, they are/were one of the biggest teams in the world, and you cant move from one of the biggest teams in the world to another. just to find yourself being phased out of that team and eventually fading away all together to play, well in the scottish 3rd division!! And of his performance that day i was pretty impressed, hes barely in his twentys but he was all over the pitch, getting back on the wings to defend, putting decent crosses/passes in and he has the confidence to take on players and then shoot from either foot . from distance effectively. Fair play it was against Doncaster, but. if that is how he plays, that is how he''l want to play in the prem, whether he can fully reach that level , obviously only time can tell but im sure he''l give it all hes got to get there.

Pretty sure hes back for the villa home game. Nah not in my eyes pete, like you say arse kickings are in order and the way to do that is shake a team up by showing no place is guarenteed. I like jonno i do and hed probably be another sub id bring on after half time, depending on the way things are going on the day. I just think tettey looks like an absolute mad man running back to defend in amongst the back four and running up to get in scoring positions just behind the stiker so he needs to get a shout to start, and with 3 of our best players (going on awards won and nominated for within the club) fox, hoolahan and holt on the same pitch has to be a winning combo! top that off with the fact ttheyv been playing together for 3, 4 years now and it seems impossible they havnt really played together this season in the prem! its madness! I understand foxy was injured begining of the season, but with his passing and crossing ratio and the fact we play a big man up front its time for him to step up and take charge in midfield to get things running smoothly again, and i thought that hughton would give him and hools the nod for liverpool for that reason.

GJL I Both agree and disagree with ya im afraid. I definately agree that no one should look at the performance against donny as a bench mark for getting in the 25 prem team, least of all ward who i feel still has a little bit to prove before hes seen as prem quality in my eyes, consistency seems to be an issue, as i thought when he came back from injury last season, he started out looking pretty awsome. But i have to disagree with what you say about Turner, his performance against fulham was shocking for a CB whos been playing in the prem for a while now, schoolboy errors and clearly loosing his head because of them (and mayby the barrage of goals that were going in behind him had a little somthing to do with that also) Also after his coming on for bassong at newcastle, he was essentially the guy in our defensive line slacking out and playing Ba onside,now im not saying the goal was entirely his fault, you could also say he was on the spot a bit after coming on after 5 minutes unexpectedly, but again these things are somthing a player who has been playing profesionally for about 10 years and playing in the prem since 08 should be dealing with. Please dont see this as me writing him off though, i think technically hes a very good defender, just think he needs to apply himself more and make use of any time he gets on the pitch to play out of his skin, weve got real competetion in the squad now and ALL of the players performences, need to mirror their want to play premier league football in a yellow shirt every weekend.

This website streams pretty much most matches,also think it was the website I went on to watch our pre-season against celtic, that match was being streamed on this site via celtic t.v somhow, which sort of shows that someone somewhere will endevour to make sure most matches will be shown. I watched the Newcastle game with my dad at home on the weekend, think it was via fox sports from the u.s, no americans talking about "soccer" what ever that is, before and during the game which was nice, as when i saw fox sports i naturally feared the worst.
