City1st, you never comment about this 20,000+ for 10+ years now and how our support was absolutely supperb during the Division 1 season. Why? Does this run against all your comments and doubts? The time to be worried is IF (not WHEN) season tickets no longer have a waiting list. This currently is NOT the case and from the past few seasons, I can''t see why you are so paranoid about a down turn in support. Again, I said 1 (singular) season to rebuild a stand - not 2. Is that such a hard ship? Were you protesting when the South Stand got replaced? Do you sit there working out "Has that been paid for" or now just "accept it"? Were you thinking the same back then when the attendances were far weaker? Consider that in your arguments for/against. It''s only going to be better to expand with our fan base - if our fans were going to leg it, they would of done that when Gunn took us down. US fans didn''t - you''re the one who is casting doubts. Yes, increase the prices marginally for a season to cover loses. The fans will still turn up. Whats the big deal? That stand needs replacing.
The ragbag of trolls and malecontents don''t nor of any coment they make, hence their hiding behind little used log in names.
Troll troll troll - such comments are as bad as facebook users posting up "Photoshopped" to any posters. What comes clear, when you have someone disagree with your opinion, you just get nasty/shout down at people as wrong/misinformed. ONE game this season and you''re bleating on as it''s a down turn in home support. Absolutely stupid comment to make - summer holidays, first game of the season is always our lesser attended or have you a memory of a gold fish??

BW''s Cat "Yet swoop, nowhere in your posts does it state any numbers to support your idea that we can build an expansion to the city stand. You claim city1st is ''Anti-expansion'' but plenty of times I have heard him preach how we need to stop being ''Ever so ''umble''. I agree with him, let''s wait until WE ARE SURE" Why make figures up only the club know? City1st is quoting magical figures they have no concrete evidence about. They are preaching as though our support is dwindling, are you also over looking that? I take the QPR game for example - our only home Premier League game this season, they took more of the Jarrold and didn''t fill it. That is why the attendance was below par. The Mickey Mouse cup is always poor in the early stages for us, when has it ever been over 16k without the concessions over the past 10 years? Keep to the facts the humble fan has from public stats. City1st is extremeley anti knocking down the Main Stand for progression, that rings clear throughout this, as others say with cigarette accountancy without definite figures. Some say 1 year for Jarrold, they''re saying 18-24 months for a new one, that''s how inaccurate City1st is twisting any such figures to suit their argument. We may be humble but both make it sound like our attendances are dwindling. I begger to ask you have you opened your eyes at Carrow Road over the past 24 months or so? Depressive bunch on here wanting to moan about that? Crickey!!! Listen to yourselves. Purple - I''m assuming there is still a waiting list. How big, I don''t know but it''s not as bad some of the above are making out to be some form of crises how they are writing. Making it sound we are already heading back to the days of 16k attendances.

Appears City1st is Anti-expansion regardless of any argument reading all the posts. Do they reside in that stand and would hate the feeling of being woken up by 3000+ more fans behind them making any form of noise? Causing queues in new bars, toilets at half time? The need to go through turnstiles and so on. The stand is old, it''s awful to look at and full of blankets and flasks. It''s only for a season, not an eternity. It will enhance the club, not drag it down into the dark ages. 10+ years of 20k+ crowds and won''t go back to the lesser attendances you''ve got inside your head because of trends. Treneds would of said in League 1 we should of dipped like many other clubs. We didn''t, we showed our support. The season ticket waiting list is still enviable of many other clubs, so a bit daft to question that. It''s the 21st Century, Entertainment is the business to be in, not people stuck in their ways because they don''t like change.

Are we going to be short of goals?

To the OP - how quick were we to get out of the blocks last season? More so Holt with his same characteristics being in the first few games. It''s only 3 games in and similar scenario. Give it time, I''m sure our strikers will soon start scoring and the attacking midfield doing that part like last season. -
Is it now something like over 10 years with our league games being over 20,000+ at home? Can''t see how people think there could be a down turn. We went down to League 1 and still turned up in our masses. Even during the low times in the Championship, we still pulled in far more fans that that tinpot club down the A140. The Main/City/what ever you want to call it needs replacing. Looks dire and dated when ever on TV. It would only be for one season, it''s time to move on with the times and get more fans in.

Chris Martin ever scoring another goal in the Premier League.
At least get it correct if you''re going to groan.
No Prem. goals yet despite all the chances Lambert gave him (or didn''t because of his lack of managerial nous?)
You mean all four chances he had last season? You make it sound like it was double figures.

Garrido whoooooaaaaaaaaahhhhhh He''ll never play the scum, They''ll be in Division One. -
*Cough* Snodgrass! Re comment last night. Next they''ll be feeding our strikers, same as last year. Confidence is building and more importantly Bassong and Barnett looking good together again considering their second outting together. Scrimmage definitely right about Garrido v Tierney. Hughton too and the players bedding in nicely!

LDC, spot on. We started slow last season and gain momentum. We have added to those players, not lost. Vaughan & Wilbrham were not impact players yet we have Martin back, who did have a previous partnership with Holt in the lower leagues. Lambert just fell out with him, it could be rekindled, find some form and who knows.
