i wouldnt take anything less than the £30m. If he went top 6 i think liverpool would be ideal for him, quite a number of english players in that first team. Also getting him back on loan for 6 months or something might work well if they dont want him straight away?

Tettey is getting older now and has been an exceptional player for Norwich over the years but I do know that its his wish to finish his career in Norway where is all began. So if its his last season, Thank you sir and good luck !

i have no suggestions of which players from the lower leagues to go for...but i do wonder if £15m for a ageing striker is the right amount, hard to tell in this market! We will see there is a long way to go till the window closes, all i hope for is 100% commitment and hunger to win from who ever wears the yellow and green!! COYY!!!

I think we should stop chasing McCormack and go for two younger and hungry strikers from lower leagues and give them a shoot, thats more than 60 mins in the season...why spend £15m on a player when you can spend that on 2 or 3 from the lower leagues or across the seas?

considering the inflated market...i wouldnt take anything less than £5.5m....we would need a replacement for sure, take all you can from West Ham as they do have the money!!

for £1m...i thought it worth a punt...but his record isnt great I justed wiki''d him..2015 - preston...20 games 1 goal..and hes 23 so not as young as i thought!! take a punt with one of our youth players if need be!

I have to agree with your comments...there is a time when you have to say enough is enough your not making it to the level we need, sell him with the buy back in and reinvest in the next young gun! Even if we needed a third keeper this season i am sure we have one in the club or the option of a loan/emergency loan??

i think Rudd needs a full season playing no.1 no point sitting on the bench or in the stands week in week out watching...send him to a club put a couple of clauses in, must start 20+ games this season and if we need him back then we do...I think the lad needs to mature a bit more and beef up a little and he will certainly be NCFCs no1 for years to come!

I think some of the problem the wolf had was the service he got and the lack of crosses fed in to him...look at the everton goal he scored...awesome header...after that, the wolf did not get fed! Good luck to the man...i am sure he will eventually find his shooting boots...just didnt happen in england, or france....or spain!..EEK!

I certainly think there is money in the kitty for two strikers, and a centre back (still need this IMO), I know the Wolf was on £45k a week so i am sure that can go towards MC...if we get McCormack then make sure we have or get another striker to compliment him...search Europe and find something special and for once City pay that little bit extra to get a young hungry kid who will set lil old carrow road alight!!

Shame it didnt work out, good luck to the man, we can now use his £45,000 a week salary on a striker who can actually score a goal and work for the team!!

I have been watching Cardiffs transfer activity closely the last week, 4 signings already! I get the feeling that behind closed doors at Norwich that with the new director position still not filled that we are not settled ready to start the hard work of getting ready for the new season. All I read is Hoolahan, Pilks, Snoddy and Ruddy all getting discussed leaving (think only WH and AP will go unless big money moves happen for JR and RS)...anyone else wish they heard a little from the club that things are happening?

Clearly a lot of people over rate Hoolahan...but it''s their opinion and I''m happy to hear and add to it. On one hand he can prob play another season after this in the prem after that its dropping back down the leagues. So you either cash out now or wait for less money in a years time or don''t renew his contract? I would take £2m to £2.5m On the ball mighty yellow supporters!!

Just been thinking about the final few days of the window and I think we need a couple more players to secure another season in the BPL. I know its been mentioned before but I certainly think we should get Alfred Finnbogason, i think that one last striker would ensure if anyone does get injured then we would be ok. Also one more defender, if Bassong is going to struggle with injuries this season I think we need to capture one quality piece to complete the jigsaw? maybe Alderweireld, at the right price? THOUGHTS?

Elmander is an interesting one, I guess Fans are worried as hasnt got 20 goals in 30 matchs or better, he looks a solid character and will bring more strength to the forward line when he is on. This season we need the depth to ensure we can bring quality fresh players on with 20 mins to go. But I would like to see one very good centre back arriving as Turner is good but not getting younger, and maybe another strong CM/DM, but I was impressed with Tetteys energy/passing and tackling in preseason.

I think Hoolahan can go, for a couple of mill, I think we can reinvest that and bring someone else in, maybe a 23-24 year old from europe who is ready for the next step up? Hoolahan for where he plays he doesnt shoot enough, and only has one foot (as most footballers do to be fair!), he loses the ball under his feet to much which breaks down the play. Regarding Snodgrass....he wont go - end off.

In my opinion I think Wes would be a good impact player for the last 20 mins of the game, I think we have better players than him now and I would like to see city having Hooper/Wolf/Fer and Redmond on the pitch together! Maybe a 4-4-2 but Hooper coming deeper to find the ball? For once it’s a hard one to call, you what Johnson in there but I have been impressed with Tettey! I am glad I am not the manager!

It has to be be Fox, started watching city in 92-93, and he was your typical winger in those days. direct, speed and could cross to big men upfront, Sutton / Newman, thats the type of winger style we need at city and I agree with some posters, Snodgrass is not far off that but just missing that extra pace...Snodgrass has a gift for crossing and dead ball skills are quality!

Went to the last friendly and all though Redmond wasnt on long he showed the passion and the hunger to win the ball and go for a run with it...this is the sort of player Norwich needed to add to the team and I look forward to the start of the season. Lets hope we develop him in to the exciting player he can be. Also a big well done to him to join a mid table premiership team, where he will play games and get better and one day he will be able to join a top four team. I think other players should follow his lead unlike Zaha who wont play at Man utd!

Lets hope its a decent game and I think Scotland will be ready for a battle, lets hope England turn up for a poor timing match ahead of the premier league opening games. I will be cheering on Scotland and our Norwich Boys, will be good banter back in the city changing rooms if one of our Scots boys scores against Ruddy in goal!!!

I have to say I am another one who would prefer someone else than Rhodes to come to us, yes he is proven in the championship but can he make the step up? I dont know his history but how many season has he been playing well in the championship?? if its one, then I would like to see City sign a striker who has two or three years banging in the goals at a decent level and who is proven, yes it will cost money but with the new tv money next season it is worth investing now than missing out, Big gamble but surely worth it!

I think who ever is in the squad we need to ensure we use the wings and get those crosses in! we have a good pool of tallent which we need to use in the right way and we will see City having the same season as last year, we have brought in some decent defenders (lets hope the prove their worth) and we have a good choice in mid and attack, but we need to play the positive football we saw last season and go for it!
