No noise from the Barclay...
LondonCanary replied to Yellow Messiah's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We have one of the rare ground set ups where the supposed vocal home support are right next to the away support - it should be better than it is. Away support is great though. Chelsea fans were blown away by youth cup following -

wolfswinkel, I''m a vocal away fan - more fun. You clearly took what I said personally but it''s a fact. Our home support is sh1t. It''s laughable. Barclay clearly ''''only sings when we are winning'''' we''re not winning recently and therefore no singing. All standin up chatting to mates while away fans school us. -

Standard Barclays end responses ''''I won''t sing unless the team plays well enough to make me want to'''' Better fans sing to boost the team. If you choose to buy a ticket in the end which everyone understands to be where the core vocal support should be you should f**king sing to make the club proud and boost the team. If you''re not down with that go sit in the family enclosure and let someone who does want to sing take your seat. -
Why is there so little movement!

I just don''t see how howson fits into the team. We have to build around Fer and he plays best alongside a defensive/holding mid which Howson isn''t. And Howson is not got enough for number 10. -
SACK MOURINHO & ETO IS A FLOP
LondonCanary replied to LondonCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No problems having a proper debate on the teams failings its just half the forum reverts to a sack the manager view point after getting no points away from home against a top 5 team which is laughable. -
Really great insight. Thank you. On the subject of predictability have you considered studying the number of pant wetting threads when we lose to top six opposition away from home.

Pant wet time!!!!! We should of got 3 points at spurs bring back lambert!!!! Oh wait villa lost today....bring in pardew he got 3 points!!!!
I love it when people have set ideas about substitutions without regarding how the game is going and, more importantly, how different players are performing. Substitutions cannot be, and should not be, pre-thought out before seeing how the game progresses and the form of the players (except in Football Manager!).
You shouldn''t take things so literally. Clearly substitutions are not pre-planned on a Wednesday – people are just batting around possible line ups and situations.

On The Ball City: The 2013 Version

This is absolutely superb. Agreed this needs to be played over the PA and then it will convert to the terraces. 321 is an embarsement -
GOAL MUSIC: YES OR NO? (Official club poll)
LondonCanary replied to Bws Cat 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
IT''S AN EMBARRESMENT - Outdated crap get with the modern day. Some football clubs can generate decent atmosphere and original chants - some can''t and need music to plug a gap, pick which one you want -
Has goal music been ditched? PLEASE SAY ITS TRUE
-
We have the least original and unimaginable fans in the UK by a mile. And then there was the Michael turner song which is based on referring to the fact our owns fans thought he was sh!t - yeah that makes sense. At least we have the embarsement that is goal music to hide behind.

Are you Joe kinnear in disguise. Skybet have made ManU 4th favourites to go down after losing to a shanghai XI pub team pre-season. Real reason Rooney wants out is to avoid championship football next season. -
Two fingers from our new players
LondonCanary replied to Kangaroo Court's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Standard backward Norfolk folk comment. This is the reason why people take the pi55 out of Norwich fans!!!!!!! -
Any guesses what our starting 11 will be now?
LondonCanary replied to swjf50's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Not sure what Norwich fans problem is with turner. Was out best defender for the last half of the season, everyone sings a song about him he hates and everyone has him out of their XI''s. odd. -
Turner. Players player of the year. Clearly has the team behind him.
Agreed and top performing defender back half of the season

yet another name? Alderweireld of Ajax
LondonCanary replied to Redders Right Foot's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
£6.9m agreed but sounds like personal terms won''t work out http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2361735/Norwich-agree-6-9m-fee-Ajax-defender-Toby-Alderweireld.html -
Efan Ekoku’s dad reports on twitter that he has come out of retirement and signed a new 1 year deal. McNally ecstatic over the formation of the EFAN WOLF strike force. No FIFA 13 player rating and limited youtube highlight reels leave Norwich fans unable to accurately estimate the transfer fee but sky sports news consider it to be around £1.25m when working off his £250k valuation in sensible world of soccer 94’. Chris Hughton confirmed ‘A lot of Norwich fans have been concerned at the pace of change at the football club. We finished the highest in the league since anyone can remember, are debt free and are in the process of building a sustainable football club but there is still a lot of pant wetting from the fans. I just hope this signing eases any fears and helps fans remember the heritage of this great football club. We should not forget the great old days of the club, like Crewe away in league one.''
he said the person it''d originally come from was quite reliable. He reckoned about 70% of the things he said usually happened
I can confirm 97.5% of my statements are true and I''m 82.6% sure there is about a 4% chance of this lead being legit.
