Maybe people who only attend home games are plastic. It is an unhelpful and divisive term used in an abusive way by many. I may even have been guilty of it myself at times. Why the law of supply and demand is not applicable to Norwich I do not know. Look at the crowds in our first ever season in the top flight - on the whole not very impressive but they soared for the "big games" whether against fashionable clubs or decisive matches. Totally for with no hint of a doubt. Immense yesterday, worked incredibly hard all over the pitch. Does an amazing job for the team. Created space for Wes & Snoddy with excellent runs. I saw a comment elsewhere on this board claiming that he did not look interested. I can only believe that person was not at the game or is a troll. What I saw from the top tier was a man who led by example in everything that he did. He did not score but anyone who thinks that is his only job is deluded. Holt & Bassong first two names on the team sheet for me. RP

I live in South Devon. Have home season ticket and make it to just about every away game too. Each home game is a 760 mile round trip for me. Last year I clocked up 23,000 miles attending Norwich games. Norfolk born and bred and have lived all over the country but always maintained my season ticket. Just approaching my 50 year anniversary of first game and am close to attending my 1600th match. I keep lots of stats - have to do something on all those long journeys! RP

Standing next to me at the Liberty was a 5'' 6" bald guy, about 40 who managed to moan even when we were 3-0 up. Amazing I thought but continued with my singing. You can imagine how the moaning increased as their 2nd and 3rd goals went in. After the game, on the way home, I wondered if it was actually little Mungo, exalted leader of the Bumpkin tribe. Was it you Mr B? Otherwise I thought that the supporters were once again fantastic and the team a credit to the Club and the Manager. RP

Agree totally Nutty. Got home from the game very late and expected to be reading lots of positivity on this board but instead a lot of bilge about change and lots of negativity. Personally very happy with the point, very happy with the formation, the chance creation and delighted with Chrissy Hughton. Can teams always improve? Of course, but if you are not overwhelmingly happy at this moment as a Norwich fan then you are simply a misery in my book. BTW thought Bunn did very well. RP

Just back in Devon after the game. An excellent away performance of the type you really need in order to be secure in the PL. Undoubtedly we were slow out of the blocks. Both Garrido and Whittaker seemed particularly lethargic in the early stages although both improved significantly as the game went on. Unfortunately we were a goal down by that point. What I found really gratifying was how we hung in there during a difficult first half. At half time I said to the guy next to me that I was relieved to only be one down and that now we had a chance. Without any unduly obvious tactical switch we came out for the second half like a team that was a half yard faster than in the opening half and instilled with new belief. Whatever Hughton et al said in that dressing room made a significant difference. Had we not equalised then it would have been poor reward for an incredible team effort. I cannot say that we deserved to win but a point at Everton is a great point at any time but particularly when they had such momentum early on. For me Bassong was stand out but there were some excellent performances throughout the team. We really seem to have a tight unit and the way the goal was celebrated right in front of us seemed to reinforce that feeling. For me this was a day that reminded me why being a fan is such a wonderful thing. I had a hell of a journey there and back but when that equaliser went in I wouldn''t have swapped that experience for anything. I think that we will need an equally resolute performance at Southampton. I will be thrilled with another point, ecstatic with three but even if we lose I see a team here that we can all be enormously proud of. Mention must be made of our away support. Absolutely superb - and I can be critical sometimes. Cannot wait for St Mary''s now. Hope to see lots of you there. RP

I have done a lot of thinking about the logistics of getting to the game tomorrow these past 48 hours. Living in Devon we are surrounded by floods and the trains are in disarray so with tomorrow forecast to be truly terrible weather in the South West I have decided to head up to Lancashire today while there is a break in the weather and stay at a B & B so that I can be sure to make it to the match. Could have done without it but at least Southampton will be closer. Look forward to being a part of the y''army in full voice. Wonder if my friend Mr Bumpkin will be there??? RP
