1. He is the one that has made the profit for the club so why shouldn''t he get some of the cash. You are saying all he cares about is the money. Thats not really the case is it? He wants to play for a ''''massive club'''' at the highest level. Anyway, even if it was about money, who''s to blame him. Would you turn down a pay rise for moving employers. I think not!!!! I think its time people realised that Norwich City will never hold on to a quality player, especially one with his potential. Stop crying about it, move on, Ashton''s gone!!!!!
2. With West Ham practically secured their Premiership status already this season they do have the money to invest in both players. I think them signing Ashton is more likely than Lopez to be honest. I imagine it will all go through on Monday.
3. Why would West Ham waste what money they have got on Ashton? Marlon Harewood is far more effective!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neither Man City or West Ham have enough money anyway, due to the unrealistic price tag that been put on Ashton''s head. I can''t see Ashton leaving as he wouldn''t improve any team that could afford the money Norwich want for him.
4. Alan Pardew will buy him tomorrow after West Ham demolish Norwich. £4 million is a fair price for a player that is as overweight as Ashton. My Nan has got more pace over ten yards!
5. £10 million for Ashton, your must have been drinking fella! £6 million tops. You can''t possibly thing that he''s worth more more that Baros. I think Norwich should consider selliing him and using the money to bring in 3 or 4 quality players. Cos face it the only quality Norwich have got is Hucks, Green and Ashton. Three players will never get them prmoted, especially with the manager you''ve got!
6.
We BEAT Manure 2-0, they LOST to Chelsea 1-0, are we still up there, NO!!! How can you base their seasons credentials on that performance? Horace Borris you are a funny man, with a funny name!!
Jamie, you are correct in saying that you''re no longer in the premier league. I think Norwich are bringing out a DVD reviewing last season, aptly named ''''Back where we belong''''! To be fair its not really surprising either......look at the great start you''ve had. Keep up the good work guys, you must be proud. Ashton would be daft to stay at such a small time club with a glorified chef running the show, why not leave for a premiership club cos face it, Norwich are staying exactly where they are. Happy days fella, Irons all the way!
7. City would be crazy to turn down £7 million for Ashton..... and to be fair Wigan turned in a great display against Chelsea yesterday and the club have a great deal of money and could survive based on this performance. Francis obviously saw something he liked up there!?
8. I heard from my mate, who is seeing someone who works in the ticket office at Carrow Road, that the bid has been accepted. If Ashton can agree personal terms Norwich will use the cash to try and buy Bobby Zamora!
