1. Supposed it is to be expected that morons on here are celebrating the acts of morons at the ground.
2. Don''t blame you mate, just a shame you can''t get your money back!
3. Was funny at first but this is getting irksome and annoying. Also allowed myself to get excited about this season. At least they are letting us know from the off though and not stringing us along for 10-20 games giving us vague hope.
4. Haha, what on earth? 4-0 down, people on the pitch, fans leaving? Can''t wait to see what this place will be like tonight!
5.  No chance of keeping either. Clingan especially is far too good for League 1 football.
6. I used to quite dislike Lee at Ipswich but he has grown on me during his time with us. He will score a hatful in League 1 and is making all the right noises at the moment about wanting to stay. For a loan player you can''t really question his commitment.
7. Have been angry about the situation for a while but seeing Gunny ordering the players to go over to the fans after the final whistle has left me feeling a bit sad. Feel for the guy.
8.
I live in Berkshire and work in Hampshire. The ONLY local team football shirts I see being worn are Reading. There are the usual Man U & Chelsea shirts on display as you''d expect in the Thames Valley (but rarely Liverpool for some reason).I can honestly say though that I have NEVER seen anyone wearing either a Portsmouth or Southampton shirt despite visiting both town a few times. The clubs just don''t seem to be that important down here which is probably why they have so much trouble attracting a good crowd for most games. I think the only reason Southampton ever attracted a crowd before is because they had the god that was Le Tissier (everyone must admire him not only for his football skills but also for his devotion to his club).
I''ve never read such rubbish in my life.Portsmouth shirts are worn EVERYWHERE in Portsmouth, and the same with Southampton in that area. I think someone is telling porkies.
9. Good player, just what we need after missing out on Purse. Good deadline day so far, although these are ''just'' loans we need a decent enough squad in order to stay up. We cannot afford to get those players in permanently so this is the next best thing. I swear some fans are expecting us to pull £500k and £1m deals for players out of our arse, its just not going to happen.
10. Pretty sure he leaves when his loan finishes on the 18th and he is available for all the games until then.
11.

Some of you ''fans'' should be ashamed of yourselves. No doubt on the same level of moron as the Spurs ''fans'' launching abuse at Sol Campbell the other week. Damo did an amazing job for us during the promotion season and was one of the stand out players during the Premiership season as well. Would absolutely love to have a player like him in the midfield now. This is really sad news and I have all the sympathy in the world for the guy. Always worked hard and gave total commitment on the pitch. Now his career is over I''m sure he looks back at his few seasons with us and the time after with Wigan as the pinnacle of his career. No doubt he will regret the way he left us but that''s football, sometimes things have to get a little messy.Wish him all the best for the future whatever he decides to do.
That''s an interesting quote, In reality what Sol Campbell did to Spurs by joining Arsenal on a bosman is exactly the same as what Andy Marshall did to us !, Are you saying that Marshall hasn''t deserved any of the stick he''s got over the past seven years everytime we''ve played them? I seriously doubt that Spurs'' fans were singing anything different or more abusive than at any other time since Campbell left them. - media hype !
Mate, you could hear the chants on Sky hoping he would ''die of aids'' and ''hang from a tree''. It''s unacceptable. Banter is good fun and part and parcel of the game but plain abuse is disgraceful from grown men. Wishing death or disease on any footballer for wanting to play for a rival club is something I cannot comprehend.
12. Probably just gets Lupoli to do all the work and fails miserably when he attempts to finish her off.
13. Best memory of him was against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on New Years Day 2005 when we drew 1-1 with 10 men. Scored a cracker and I was right behind it! Everyone was soaked due to the lack of roof and shit weather but the ''DAMO'' chants were ringing all around. Even Delia came on the pitch at the end to applaud us.Good times.

15.
what the foook does that mean...just heard it on sky sports???? unless i got it totally wrong
Hehe, I actually heard the same as you. Don''t think he did say it though. Wouldn''t make any sense at all!
16.

Poor mans Luca Toni.
I hope you''re trying to be funny.
Erm.....I don''t understand how that can be taken as a compliment but nevermind. Just to clarify, he''s absolute sh*t.
17. Good lad is Svensson, Pompey fans hold him in high regard as well for his time there. Good luck to him for the future.
18. He is a very good defender by the way, MUCH better than Martin Taylor. The only reason we would be getting him is because he needs to build match fitness after coming back from injury. Would probably go back in January and slot back into Celtic''s defence. Still, need all the bodies we can get really.
19. Born and lived most of my life in Portsmouth before moving to London. Have no links whatsoever with Norwich as a place or the team. Have supported them ever since I started watching football at around the age of 3 or 4. For some reason it stuck and I try to get to around 5 games every season!
20. He''s asking the Ipswich fans to forgive him, not us.
21.

If people did their research on this story you would find out that over 100 Columbus fans wer arrested compared to 30 WH fans, and the trouble was caused by ''boisterous'' Columbus fans in the first place. Still, less of a story if it isn''t specifically English hooligans isn''t it?
I think the title of the thread - Pathetic Hooligans - just about gives away what we''re debating here. Pathetic Hooligans. Nationality has b-all to do with being a tosspot.
But the discussion that has ensued has mainly been directed at the West Ham (English) fans. But yes, no matter what nationality it is indeed pathetic.
