  1. On the quality thing. It is important, we watched Wrexham absolutely wipe the floor with LA Galaxy II on Saturday. One of the Galaxy fans said “I’d like to see the Galaxy (first team) play these guys, they would give them a game”

That’s one of your top sides in the MLS might give a League 2 side a game…. Probably right and the reason that Wrexham won was they were physical (but fair), had a playing style that included running at defenders and generally outcompeted Galaxy II.

Do I enjoy watching MLS if I go? No, for the same reason, it’s like watching poor quality international football. Do I enjoy watching women’s football? Not really, it’s just not my cup of tea . Maybe because like MLS it’s being overhyped as something it isn’t. But I can understand why others do watch and enjoy it.

So no Remainers died, eh Surfer? Just proves that God takes all the good ones.

Of course they did. The point being, now that Brexiteers got the vote they wanted, we can never let the people vote on this issue again.

With the evidence that Brexit, like Communism, is a total con,  it’s clear a large majority would vote to rejoin to EU. But also like Communism the excuse is it just hasn’t been implemented properly so round and round the drain hole this once respected country goes as a desperate ruling party sabotages every remaining bridge to the past economic success, truth and decency.

  3. " 48% of those who voted in the EU referendum wanted to stay in the EU, but they were stripped of their 'true citizenship' of the EU en masse along with those who did, amounting to a form of collective punishment. "

    Let me help

"48% of those who voted in the EU referendum wanted to stay in the EU, but they were stripped of their 'true citizenship' of the EU en masse along with those who did, amounting to a form of collective self-punishment. In every aspect of society, we must recognize that the people have spoken, and honour that decision. And, as so many who voted to leave have since died, it is our sacred duty to honour their memories and not allow the people who remain, or have come of age, an opportunity to speak on this subject again"

  4. Americans a sick of a never ending media circus around elections. Every two years for Congress, four for the President. So get back to them Sept next year and polls might be relevant, at the moment the only ones responding are party members / affiliation registered “voters”

Actually, the  aim of rights in law is supposed to be creating a legal idea of an individual right that's inalienable, as I illustrated with the mention of war crimes still applying even if the victim isn't associated with a Geneva convention signatory.

If you take the Putin/Xi Jinping approach, then sure, there's no such thing as rights at all, but in terms of the ideals of rights regarding citizenship, the quasi-citizenship that the EU offers doesn't make the grade.

Once again, it was in the EU's choice as to whether we retained the EU citizenship we had been granted as individuals. EU representatives like Verhofstadt made the valid arguments why we should have kept them if EU citizenship was a true citizenship, but it was ignored in favour of the argument that these were only a bundle of privileges afforded to people if they happened to be a citizen of an EU-member state.

I noted that my question over Scottish and British citizenship if Scotland was to leave the UK was ignored? What would people think if the view was taken that those who happened to be in Scotland at the time automatically became Scottish citizens and had their British citizenship revoked en masse, or maybe those geographically born in Scotland instead? Would that be fair seeing as it was Scotlands decision to leave, regardless of whether people individually may or may not have voted for Scotland to leave the UK?

You just confirmed what I said. The right of British citizens to live, work, retire anywhere in the EU was a result of the negotiated political accommodation of EU membership. It was the Brexiteer side that destroyed those rights.

  6. There is no such thing in nature as a "right". Especially an "inalienable right", even more "rights granted by our creator"

All "rights" come from political accommodation i.e. we invent them to serve our society - for good or bad.

So F the Brexiters who knowingly removed the right of British Citizens to work, travel, and retire in Europe without government interference.... from the "party of small government" no less.

On the subject of import or export of goods, Brexit is unremittingly negative.

    Well, that's alright then.

There was me thinking Brexit was damaging the economy to the detriment of every British citizen and the Treasury.

People need to accept the fact his legs had totally gone to play this level, that's no criticism of him just happens, in fact it's more a criticism to suggest his professionalism was so bad he just gave up.

That maybe, however I'm sure that he'll be sucessful over here in the MLS. I'll make sure to drop in an see Minnesota when they play the LA Galaxy. He even has his "Emi Buendia" in place in that team apparently.

  9. There is much more to a running a club than a seasons results. It’s about developing a long term strategy, adding players that fit into that strategy who can build value for the club. Farke totally got it, we had a plan that - at least in the Championship - worked well, we were recruiting inexpensive technical players and started up a conveyer belt of talent to refresh the squad that we could use to stop the purchase of mid level talent and focus on one or two game breakers.

Then we panicked and threw it all away. Bring the man back … what we were doing was very Milwaukee Brewers anyway, a certain MA would likely appreciate that approach being repeated.
