Really?...looked 2 ordinary sides to me

I don't disagree, which is why I think Southampton will overtake them. But it doesn't change my comment both teams look miles ahead of our level of play "at the moment". I know we can play much better than we have for too many months this season.

  2. So we remain 1 win behind 6th as a result of that. Although they are being very Lambertesque, don't think Ipswich will hold off Southampton much longer, but it's fair to say both Ipswich and Sunderland look miles ahead of our level of play at the moment.

  3. For what it is worth Talib did not "lead an insurrection". That was an accusation from (probably real insurrectionist) Marjorie Taylor Greene's regarding the peacful, but admittedly unlawful, demonstration in the Capitol Building. Even Fox News reported it as such.

  4. Chelsea at home in a cup game which was abandoned due to fog rolling in off the river. I’m sure it wasn’t the first though. Crystal Palace relegation scrap when I was allowed in the “grown ups” South Stand comes to mind too.

Edit: the allowed fog of time perhaps. Just looked it up - Dec 20 1972. League Cup semi, we were winning 3-2 at 75 min when game was abandoned. We obviously won the rematch but I didn’t see it or the Wembley final - read about them in the paper Pink’un

Agreed. It's quite clear that if you play with a bright coloured kit it is easier to pick out players. It's one of those where some people say "don't be ridiculous, colour makes no difference" but really it is common sense - play with a dull coloured shirt and you will lose your edge. Bright colours work.

Like yellow for example. Why give up a natural advantage?

I'm surprised that Leicester & Coventry both played in blue.
Usually the away team plays their 2nd/3rd strip even if there's a hint of colour similarity e.g. Hull yesterday.

There is zero color similarity between dark blue and sky blue. Neither on a colour or b&w TV

Just as there is zero color similarity between Canary Yellow and Orange for that matter.

Just in time to distract from the Biden’s pay-to-play crimes 🙃

Oh, McCarthy, Comer and Jordan's pretend investigation that's created to distract from Trump indictments?

KG has it right - do you care to share any evidence - or even a theory - of an actual crime? No, I thought not.

Even Fox News has given up on that particular ghost as the "evidence" keeps failing to materialize.
