1.
I know Turner and Whittaker are good signings, but it''s a shame that were buying ''used up'' players and not going Lamberts way of getting young and hungry.
Interesting. I sort of agree re. Whittaker, but Turner is 28 (which is probably about prime for a CB), and what about Snodgrass and Butterfield? They young and hungry enough for ya? [;)]
 2. Gutted about this!Already got train tickets ffs, bugger.Nice gesture from the club aswell, enjoy all.
 3. RuddyWhittaker Martin Turner TierneyHowson FoxBennett Snodgrass PilkingtonHolt 4-2-3-1maybe getting a little ahead of myself, but I''d be well happy with Turner and Snoddy. Not so excited by Whittaker, but we shall see. [:)]
 4. 5-1 ALLLLLLLLLLLLL DAY, especially as it was away at their poo-hole.
 5.
3. Play-Off Final Vs Birmingham in Cardiff. Despite the result, can''t beat the atmosphere we created that day, Cardiff was rocking. 2. Beating Man Utd 2-1 at home in 04/05. Can''t beat that second goal we scored. Slick, sublime move and a great finish. 1. Norwich beat Derby 3-2 at home in our Promotion thanks to Simeon Jacksons tap in at the death. Pandemonium ensues!
It was 2-0 vs Man Utd.Pompy and Ipswich away in our promotion season, and Derby and Ipwich at home the same season.Spurs away this season was special though, very special. No matter how poorly they were playing/played, was still a smashing achievement. Don''t think they quite realised what hit them.
 6.

Screw Morison, if we can get Romelu Lukaku it would be fantastic! He''s a superb talent, only like 19 aswell.Imagine us on fifa if we signed Lukaku and Miyachi. [H]Would only need Agbonlahor next. [A]
Haha what I was thinking, just need El Sharaawy and David Luiz and we''ll be sorted
Hahahaha exactly mate! [H]Cheeky bit of Maikon Leite on loan wouldn''t be too bad either.you play UT?

 8. I''d love it if we signed Mackie, a great player. Would be good for him to Pilks/Benno competition for their places.

Absolutely superb. When people say he''s overrated (all the time), I just don''t understand it. He''s just incredible.
 10.
i would actually refuse to support City if they signed that odious little sh*t! that’s how strongly I’d feel about it.
You serious brah?Wouldn''t support Norwich if we signed him?wow, that''s nice.
 11.
Just a word of caution before people get too excited but is this the same Sky Sports that reported Lambert to Burnley and Holt to West Ham as done deals ? Oh nearly forgot the Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank to be the new Norwich manager a few years back fiasco.
True, let''s not get ahead of ourselves. However it would be good imo!
 12.
Brendo, you the Brendo that had his first pint came on the pinkun to announce a marriage and got banned?
Nope, I first came on here in July 2009, almost 3 years ago. [H]
 13.
There''s blue and there''s blue.  The club might try to make some extra sales by cashing in on our 110th year.  A modern version of the sky blue and white halves.
That''s sort of what I meant. Could be nice. [:)]
 14.
Blue???? WTF! Anyone who even suggests blue should be shot.
Thanks. [:$]I know it will never happen but it would be cool.Second thoughts maybe we shouldn''t have a Blue kit. What about Purple? [H]
 15. Personally I''d like a Red/Black or something different. I don''t mind white, but it''s a bit leave it. A blue away kit would be cool (yes, Ipswich I know it would never happen)..
 16.

Btw - I''ve never made up a rumour like this in 3 or 4 years on here......
As you have a new account, I take it you''ve been banned recently then lol?
yes haha [:P]dw I''m a reformed character
 17.
Funnily enough, I also have it on good authority that this seasons away kit is not green. My source - David McNally :P
Oh did he say?my apologies
 18. I''ve got it on good authority that it is not going to be Green. Not sure what colour. Not sure if any of you have heard this too?Anyway, just thought I''d say.Btw - I''ve never made up a rumour like this in 3 or 4 years on here and it''s hardly big news, but yeah.[H]
 19.

World Class means you are better than the opposition? World class means you are up there with the worlds best?imo - Rooney is easily world class. He''s just brilliant. His goal record for Utd (and not a great Utd team at that) is brilliant, and for the last few seasons he hasn''t even played as the out and out striker. Rooney scored more than Aguero this season (admittedly many penalties) but Aguero is the goal scorer/furthest man forward, in an incredible City side, where as Rooney has a worse team around him. Cole I think is the world''s best left back - making him world class.Hart is in the top 3 GK''s in the world - Hart, Casillas and Neuer for me. Not sure what order, but Hart is world class. Terry - well Terry is very good but I can think of better CB''s - not world class but very good.Gerrard world class for me. So we have 4 World class players imo.I''d really like someone to debate with me as to why Rooney is not world class. Please come at me with a balanced reason, not "he''s ugly, a tw** and gets sent off all the time" (incorrect btw)[H]
First of all, tell me how well you thought Rooney performed against Italy and what you felt he contributed.
Sure. More than happy to:Rooney had a poor game vs Italy, no worse than Welbeck (who has had a poor tournament)Now please tell me how Messi performed vs Chelsea in the semis?Oh right, didn''t play well. So therefore Messi isn''t world class either?[:)]

 21.
I agree with every point you''ve made..However, this point:
7, English players are just not world class but solid also-rans, the same the Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland and other Europeans teams. We are never in the same league as the Germans, Italians and Spanish!
Totally undermines this:
Unlike the media, I’m not happy with being knocked out by Italy in the quarter finals! Is that the mark of a successful tournament, if that is than Hodgson is not the man for the job!

Exactly Andy!We have many ''world class'' players...Hart, Cole, Terry, Gerrard, Rooney. All 5 of them are absolutely brilliant. Having Johnson at RB hindered us imo, if we had Richards we may have been able to play a more attacking RM - Ox for example.Ah well - roll on August!
