let''s hope he can keep that hunger going, thought Kane looked up for it too. Had some nice touches and showed good strength and control. Didn''t get a clear chance to shoot though, lets hope Holty''s back and raring to go against Big Sam''s Spammers!
-
Thought he looked excellent today, confident on the ball, strong in the tackle (and against YaYa Binks) and a good long distance shot that really tested Hart. I''m gutted Johnson will miss the Wet Spam match, but have always hoped that Tettey and Howson could play in a normal midfield two. It would give Wes more chance of supporting the lone striker rather than dropping so deep to keep the ball moving.

3-1 down against 10 men at home and still playing one up top, Wes dropping too deep still...
-
hardly anything in that from Nasri, shame as he''s such a good player and not a nasty guy. Maybe a bit more even in the second half, lets hope we can use the extra man, maybe a chance for Jacko to try and stretch them a bit.

Thought it was a good performance today but we were losing from the 38th minute, and didn''t create many clear cut chances. 40 minutes between goal conceded and our first sub! The game was crying out for a bit of pace up front or on the wing as we were playing almost completely on the counter attack...Bennet and Jackson on for Pilks and Wes instead? Hindsight is a wonderful thing :)

Impressed with Steve Clarke today, he realised the ball wasn''t sticking up front, with Morison not really getting on the end of anything and Wes a bit out of the game, and brought an extra striker on knowing they would always get the ball back. I can understand Hughton sticking with the side and formation that has won us so many points, but it was obvious Clarke wanted the home win and we were playing for the away draw. Maybe taking Pilks off (who faded in the last 20 mins) and bring Jackson on earlier (leaving Wes on) would have given us a bit more penetration and helped the ball stick up front a little more.... thoughts?

Might be good competition for Pilks on the left wing if/when Reading go down! Can be inconsistent, but causing United all sorts of problems. We could do with some more pace in the side. Thoughts?!

this will be goooooooood! -
I was at the game, don''t really get to go much cos I live in London, but the atmosphere was shocking and not what I remember from my 10 years as a Carrow Road season ticket holder. Then the Spurs goal went in and half the people around me in the Jarrold started celebrating. How do we get the home advantage of a good crowd if its £30 a game and half the home areas have away fans in them?

think he''d be a breath of fresh air?

Is anyone going to the open training session at Carrow Road tomorrow? Is it worth it if you''ve been before? Can''t wait to see the new players for the first time!
-
Interested to see if anyone at the game can tell me how the midfield lined up when C.Martin and Jackson are providing the width? Crofts and Surman in the middle with Wes off Morison?

Hi Guys! I''m a new member, been following the pink''un boards for years and decided to finally get involved! Don''t know if any one has seen this, but Trapattoni should have included Wes in his squad by the looks of this article. What a numpty. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7795834/Trap-to-rethink-formation PS how do you post proper links?!
