1. Very disappointed if true was hoping for a little bit of experience in a higher league, or to at least be a prolific goalscorer, Is he better than vaughan??? Maybe hughton couldnt get who he wanted so is having to settle for C.M.S
 2. Sh1t refereeing cost us the game really, But a good improvement on last week 2 things of note Fulham scored twice (ok one was an own goal) at old trafford so no surprise we got beat by them last week(thats how im going to justify it to myself)secondly thank god cisse doesnt play for us ive never known a player to be offside that many times in one game. All in all it was a good performance by us the defence was good and once snoddy, pilks and holt are hitting the target games like today can surely only end up in wins for us. OTBC from a happy canary even tho it was only a draw
 3.
Despite everything that has happened in the last 7 days. Who cares? Lets get behind our boys and get on the winning trail tomorrow.OTBC
Thats the spirit im hoping for a nice comfortable win. One things for sure there should be goals after we shipped 10 between us on opening day. Im hoping for a good assured performance today, with everyone looking like theyre trying which i felt was lacking last week. But it was the first game of the season and we notoriously dont do great first day. OTBC. Snoddy, Howson and sod it Bassong to get one each for us and the mighty canaries get back to winning ways with a 3-1 win to leave que pee arghhh rooted to the bottom where they shall remain for the rest of the season. Have a great day all who are lucky enough to be attending
 4.
A couple of people on here earlier reckon Tettey is not really that good? Can''t get near the Rennes 1st team and is only a fringe international for Norway? Doesn''t sound too promising. Wish it was the argy!
Are you after wiz''s job. The doom and gloom monger ;-D
 5. Its really tough isnt it being over loaded with all these attacking midfielders. It must be such a struggle for Hughton. LOL
 6. If we could only have one of the players being linked today, who would you pick. Id have to choose Biglia just for the bragging rights of having an Argie International in the team. Ohhh the p1ss poor lot down the road must be so envious when they see the players were being linked with. OTBC
 7. Am i the only one who thought this was a wined up with that name???
 8.

Where is cluck these days
Who cares ? [:#]
Me he always had SUCH an interesting take on things ;-)
 9.
Right, I''ve only just caught up with this thread so here''s my input.1. I''m glad Wiz is gone. Maybe when I open this forum now I won''t immediately get a sense of Deja Vu upon seeing endless attention seeking and thoroughly miserable/boring posts founded on nonsense (Yes, there are others but Wiz is by far the most prolific). Good riddance to tedious drivel.2. Wiz has misconstrued what I said inevitably. I know he''ll read this cuz he can''t leave it alone, even if he doesn''t respond. I didn''t wish him to die some horrible and tragic death, I advised him to do us all a favour and book himself in at Dignitas. I firmly believe in the principle of Euthanasia, and if someone is enduring such horrendous suffering, they should be allowed to end their misery. Wiz is clearly in excruciating agony from his "support of Norwich" and constant misery, and if his quality of life is so terrible and miserable then Dignitas is the best place for him. I was not being vindictive by wishing Wiz to die, merely pointing out that if he wished to end his suffering, I would happily help him in his situation by paying his air fare and we would all benefit from it if anything, that is compassionate not vindictive.
Where is cluck these days
 10.

I liked the comment by one villa fan: "f*** why did we appoint Lambert when we''ve got a msge board full of astute managers?"
You mean there is more than one Huckerbys Boots Matt,Smudger and Tom Cavendish ?[:''(]
I like the way you keep coming back to read it, after proclaiming not to have read it
 11. No surprise Wiz probably goes to childrens party dressed up as a wizard. The dirty old TROLL TROLL TROLL
 12.
I can''t remember the result of the first game I saw, I just remember being so mesmorised by Kenny Foggo that I wanted to come back and see him again. Are results that important?
of course results are important, especially for wiz the worse the result for REAL fans the better day wiz has and the more he can spread his anti club message...... Wiz the lowestoft number one ipswich supporting TO55ER
 13.

Funny username ''wiz''. Wizards are supposed to be tricksters and decieve people am I right?
Maybe...........maybe not.[;)]
NUR NUR NA NUR NUR pathetic trolling weasel
 14. Theres feeling down but you take the p1ss wiz. I for one hope that Hughton turns this around so you''ll have to eat your words. Mr Negativity-wiz
 15.
You looked crap. Lambert was your saviour and your new boss won''t keep you up. The ex Leeds league one midfield simply won''t be enough. Snodgrass is the only one worthy of being in a lower prem team like yourselves. Johnson and Howson must be pinching themselves every morning. And yes im writing you off already thats why you are firm favourites to go down.
Shouldnt you be "mincing on together with you pals" leeds scum leeds scum

 18. the sames happened to me with my blackberry about a week ago. i prefered it on the proper mobile site aswell as it was p1ss easy to navigate
 19.
that right, we''ve had an awful first game which means we''ll be relegated.
Its not just the loss its the manor in which we lost which is the concerning bit for me. The whole team looked a shadow of the team that ive been watching for the last 3 years it was like rodent/grant and gunn all rolled into one
 20. we could be right in poo aswell by the time we appoint our Terry Conner if Hughton doesnt sort it out and mcnally wont want to fork out for a 3year deal (which is crazy when we only had Lambert on a one year) What a worrying thought. It could end up costing say 6-7mil to get a new manager and coaching team and pay off Hughton, however 6-7 million is peanuts if we stay up and the extra 40million next season. Its just if we do change managers and still go down what a waste of money that would be. Also with Colin in charge at leeds they could be passing us in the other direction. I really hope Hughton turns this round asap. but i think hes going to be stubborn and stick to same tactics on saturday at qpr because he wont want to lose to them after coming off the back of a 5-0, hes probably going to set up all defensive again. :(
 21.

Just to add... I am not a fan having a rant or anything like that. My opinion is formed from some inside info and experience (sorry, I can''t go into details). I also used to do some scouting for more than a decade and I had a very good track record doing it.It might not feel like it at the moment, but the thrashing today could actually be a good thing because it will take that sort of thing before the mindset of certain people at the club will be changed, and it is therefore better that it happens now rather than drag on for months until later in the season. What happens between now and the end of the transfer window will go a long way towards deciding how the season will pan-out.
Thanks for your post Tom. Very interesting. I''d like to ask your opinion regarding the current management team: If we cannot buy the new players you advocate that we desperately need to avoid the drop, can the new management keep us up with this squad? And if they cannot, what did Lambert do that they can''t?
There is of course the chance that 3 other clubs might do worse, but we need those extra key quality players in quickly to give a much better chance of avoiding a relegation fight. My main worries with the management team start with fitness, motivating players to come from behind to get a result (which can also be linked to fitness), and failing to spend money on good new players even when money is available (because of a lack of top level scouting knowledge). I think CH has correctly identified where new players are required, but I''m concerned about whether he can find the right replacements. Notice that CH seemed content to sign Lambert''s targets.Reasons why Lambert did so well include:1. There was no way that PL could even hope to play whole games keeping things tight and nick a goal, because the defence simply wasn''t good enough to hold out for a long time. The best form of defence was attack. The positivity of going for a win in every game installed a winning mentality so that the players still believed they could win the next game even after losing.2. PL knew that NC players had to be much fitter than their opponents. Opponents might have some better players but that advantage diminished towards the end of games when the opponents were not as fit.3. PL constantly flattered the fans by saying how great the support was. Supporters and players then bounced off each-other. This created a momentum, belief and confidence. Notice that PL was flapping when there was criticism from fans. He knew that the momentum that NC depended upon could come to a halt and the whole thing would fall to bits.4. PL distanced himself from players. This allowed him to take an objective point of view. Players knew full well that there were no favourites and his decisions were based solely upon football matters rather than who he was mates with. Players knew that sucking up to the manager wouldn''t work, and they had to perform or they were out. He had an authority that left no doubt as to who was the boss (although a lot of the actual management work was down to Culverhouse). 5. Hungry players. PL went for players that had a point to prove. He didn''t want players in a comfort zone. That is a reason as to why he kept changing the team. He needed every player believing they had a chance of playing, and when they got a chance they did everything to try to keep their place. There was no room for complacency. Of course the downside was some dubious team selections.6. PL knew which players needed a kick up the backside, and which ones to put an arm around. For example an interviewer would say great things about Holt, but Lambert would mention Morison in reply. This was to keep Holt on his toes and to show support for Morison to help give Morison a boost.
Spot on Tom thats a great post nail on head springs to mind
 22. Whats the point in another striker when were playing 4-5-1. Weve got proven prem goal scorers and vaughan. The defence was a joke yesterday, infact nearly the whole team was a shadow of the team weve seen for the last 3 years
 23. 2-1 saints ffs. fair play to them playing attacking and reaping the rewards. sounds familiar (us last season). Heartbreaking times for our 3years of building a team
