  1. Bennett deserves chance... I said this to a fellow supporter last Saturday - whilst queuing for a pre-match pint in the Queen of the Iceni.

    His reply; " He won''t play... You know why?...cause there is a pay per play deal with his ex club Peterborough "

    Seems a bizzare thought considering how much TV money is at stake, but do you think there is any truth in it?

  2. Leaving from Wymondham in the morning, parking at a tube station four stops from Wembley.

    So much to consider;

    1. Fried brecky stop.

    2. Will there be lots of traffic being a Bank Holiday...and the Play Off Final ?

    3. Road works, M25 grid lock, punctures, even car breakdown !

    Was going to leave Wymondham at 8am....is that early enough ?

    What time are you leaving and from where ?

  3. National Rail;

    Last updated 18/05/2015 14:00 Route affected

    National Rail routes

    TOC(s) affected Abellio Greater Anglia; Arriva Trains Wales; c2c; Caledonian Sleeper; Chiltern Railways; CrossCountry; East Midlands Trains; Eurostar; First Great Western; First Hull Trains; First TransPennine Express; Gatwick Express; Grand Central; Great Northern; Heathrow Connect; Heathrow Express; Island Line; London Midland; London Overground; London Underground; Merseyrail; Northern Rail; ScotRail; South West Trains; Southeastern; Southern; Stansted Express; Thameslink; Virgin Trains; Virgin Trains East Coast;

    EDP;

    The strike does not affect London Underground services and there are a number of alternatives to avoid the disruption. Supporters arriving by train at Stratford can take the Jubilee line direct to Wembley Park- which is situated at the start of Wembley Way. Alternatively, fans can take a Central line tube service to Liverpool Street and then join a Metropolitan line service to Wembley Park from there

  4. 10.30 train from Thorpe Station looks a good option, but I use the train for every home game from Wymondham to Norwich and it is absolutely packed.

    Anglia trains do not seem to respond to unusual levels of demand by providing extra capacity on trains.

    So..pre-book tickets..or just turn up at the station on the day ?

  5. Yes.

    I bought a ticket online last time.

    Over the moon I was having never been to Portman Road.

    I received a call the next day from our club office who explained my ticket was cancelled and refunded my credit card.

    They explained I had to be accompanied by an under 16 and apologised that this was not made clear during the booking process.

    Sick as a parrot I was.
