Jesus wept... I had to look up my password to reply as most of discussion on here is drivel. In all my days watching football I have supported Norwich and have had a loathing for two teams- The Suffolk team and anybody managed by Neil Bloody Warnock. Please don''t go here.

We''ve lost 3 -two away from home, at the beginning of the season most would have said we would lose at Newcastle. Fulham was always going to be 50/50 - so we lost. Discount wins at the top 6 teams and we have every chance of staying up. I expect Spurs to be a top 6 team we did well against them. Don''t expect to win the next 2 games as they are top 6. However have seen enough to suggest we are good enough to stay up - we do need a bit of luck this will come. Houghton has not become a bad manager, and we have not become a bad team- however if the fickle few say it loud enough we all get dragged down. We will be fine.

at last a decent post, well said. .even though i read this forum daily it is mostly negative comments. I can''t wait for the new season to start Houghton will be a timely breath of fresh air. I hold no fears of our current squad competing at the start of this season with the additions so far. While not yet a established prem club we held our own last season give or take the odd lesson, if we do the same again this season fantastic. This season clubs now know we will not be pushovers

No you wanted away from villa etc But villa on opening day would be something to shout about....home or away a win would be a must......

Mr Lambert, I would like to place on record my thanks for your services to the club I have supported for 40 years - the last 3 years have been the best I have known as a Norwich supporter (bar top 3 finish in prem and Europe exploits) for many a year. You and your team have rescued Norwich from the pits of despair and you will not be forgotten for that. Thank you again and good luck. I am sure all sensible Norwich supporters would agree with these sentiments and not the bitter crxp that is being spouted on these forums.

Apart from money why would lambert want to go to villa as their 3rd choice manager? He WAS always no 1 at Ncfc.... looks like he is going so we have got to thank him for his great work and move on. Next.......

C''mon Norwich tell us what''s going on! BS time on boards now probably no point reading this until Start of the season now- when we will have a new team a new manager and away we go again. Trust in lambertt if he is with us if not - trust in MCNasty he has got us here he will steady the ship.

Of course it could be his leave/ holiday application and he just got the wrong form. Somebody official at NCFC needs to come out and speak to the fans we now need some reassurance!!! i am going for a beer ....

what is it about being a NCFC supporter that we have to be tortured at the end of every season- if we are not being promoted we are being relegated etc- what a fantastic PR machine we have -always keeping the profile of the club in the news. Trump card this season though -fantastic effort by the lads stable mid table finish plaudits all round- you think the PR boys would have a break.... but No. Please Mr Lambert for the supporters sanity you must stay..
