Callum Robinson
Redders Right Foot replied to glory.win or die.'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Hmm? Claims by who and made where? We've made one permanent (first team)signing ffs 😂. And he's not even here yet because its still june! I would be suprised and extremely if drmic came here with the thought of being happy playing in the championship. Not you specifically, but some of the sh** people come up with is quite hysterical -

PNE have tweeted they have had no bids for any of their players. - 16 mins ago. As for the list in striker order - my thoughts on him being 2nd-3rd is we basically have no idea how Drmic will turn out. We all have big hopes for him, but nothing guaranteed. And Cantwell - for me I just don't think he looks fully comfortable out wide. I'd expect him to be central and or go out on loan -

Unless we have emi playing behind the striker, then he'd likely be 2nd-3rd choice forward and 3rd choice winger -

That'd be 4 minutes too long for me -
A couple of transfer rumours...
Redders Right Foot replied to Alex Moss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If he was injured, and that was the original reason for him coming out of the starting XI - I'd be a little bit more concerned than just a dip in form. But either way, in webber and Farke I trust. I can't see us getting Fahrmann, but I think that's the negative side of my brain. -

May of been what they sold up front, but I'm pretty sure those on here involved in the community foundation that attended said the room was packed out -
Fantasy Premier League

For the time being its probably wise to avoid our defenders 😂. Maybe aarons or Lewis on the bench in case they start racking up the assists. Buendia seems like the true steal here, and should be an easy lock for those of us who know of his potential -
If three seasons ago you had said that Sunderland would be battling ipswich for promotion, I would have laughed at the fact someone thought ipswich would be heading to the prem. How times change, and I'm loving every minute of it

A couple of transfer rumours...
Redders Right Foot replied to Alex Moss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think as Norwich fans we've all witnessed goalies just losing it. Although it has more of a tendency to be injury related. Still, I cant help myself but get really excited about the prospect of signing Fahrmann. I hadn't seen much of him this season, or the bundesliga for that matter, but in the past I've always felt he's one of the best in that league. -

Definitely not the only one - I've had the thought of if the three of Patrick, Argos, and buendia are all in good form - the best remedy is playing all three of them at once with Emi in the middle. Which would leave another winger as a priority for me - even if we dont have Emi in the middle, we are one wide injury away from having no natural wingers on the bench (love Cantwell, but he is best centrally for me. And maybe out on loan) -

I'm probably wrong - but isn't the big issue with vrancic's current contract the fact that he didn't feature enough last season so he either got a smaller/non existent pay raise for promotion? I can't see Raggets case being any different. -
In that same universe, his team avoided relegation and added a star to the shirt for it.

I never saw this first time round. what a satisfying read.

I don't know why you're all complaining. I now have a PHD in psychology and am assured that I will recieve my degree in 2-3 months. Pretty good bargain if you ask me.

Josip Drmic signs
Redders Right Foot replied to lappinitup's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Hopefully our fitness team handle him with bubblewrap considering the amount of training this team reportedly does. Excited to see how this one plays out. Happy our transfer policy is very consistent. Player of good pedigree, once full of potential, that's lost his way a little bit, and you could say he was on the cheap side too. Mid-low risk gamble, and I like it -
OT - Murray Comeback
Redders Right Foot replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Quick google and answered my own question. Was a bit of both. Hip resurfacing will rasp down the socket, and add a metal cap over the ball. You were spot on with the time frame. And the revision is nasty stuff (we have two happening at my hospital today, granted I don't see the aftermath of post-treatment care.) But, given his passion for the sport. Its understandable him wanting to push himself to get maybe 3 or 4 more years playing at the highest level -

Did he have a total hip replacement? I haven't done much research, but I was under the impression that he had his own hip rasped down to make it easier and manage the pain. -

Welp, had racked up a decent bill. Created an account to purchase. Account instantly got flagged and suspended for god knows what reason. Glad they decided to do this on ebay to stop evil bast**d people like me. -

I would 100% be for a cap. But when I think of NFL contract issues my #1 issue is player trades and "franchise tags" - tags are a little hard to describe, especially for a casual watcher who only views to take money off of friends in fantasy leagues. But the idea of a player can basically have a year extension forced on them is a bit bleh. And works quite a bit differently than "extra year options" we have. Player trades are my biggest gripe. If a player is under contract he can be used as the team wishes. If washington decided they wanted to ship one of their players 3000some miles to Seattle, the player can have little to no say in the matter. He has to pack up his house and family go. A lot of people consider it a trivial thing considering how much money they make. But to me its a stupid concept. -

And to top it off, we do not want NFL contracts coming in to our game. Although, some may be happy at the extreme lack of player power. -
David Turnbull to Celtic
Redders Right Foot replied to unique's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
That was my thought, GJL. Clear speculation from myself, but, if there were genuine interest from us, I wonder if we wouldn't guarentee him a place in the matchday squad, let alone the starting 11. Could of been a case of potentially watching from the stands/going out on loan, or at least making the bench for celtic. -

Saying this is "not good" is likely BYG being polite. That's pisspoor. -
Glad this is being sorted for those of you on home soil. Have to admit part of me was a little okay with the scheme, as it would allow me a higher chance of getting tickets whenever I'm back home over the season. Can't see too many friends and family giving up their season tickets as easily in a fresh prem campaign 😜. The bare-bones concept of the scheme isn't a terrible idea. But the financial burden passed on to families, season ticket holders is unjust, and felt for those of you who have been able to follow the boys endless miles around the country. A revision of the program is much needed, if not scrapped altogether.
