1. Not everything moves on for the better. Perhaps you''re too young to remember what having a top flight side challenging for honours is like. Your apparent celebration of mediocrity is a contributing factor as to why the Chase glory years are unlikely to be revisited.
 2. When one is always right, one has no need to change. Whether it be spots, stripes or in your case a lack of pips on the shoulders Plod. If you''d been brought up in the nest of my family Plod, you might at least sometimes be right.
 3. Again, Jeremy has it spot on. Our club was being sold down the river for far less than 100m, thankfully Mr Bowkett forcibly grabbed the reins and now we are making some minor inroads into recapturing some of our former glory. The fact that this has only happened since Delia was relegated to the back seats seems lost on some of you.
 4.
Edmund Slothus, so you like Greene King?
Not particularly, however when I toured the brewery it was fascinating.   Do you like it?   [B]
 5. Southwold and Aldeburgh are both delightful if the weather is nice. I''d also recommend the Greene King brewery tour in Bury St Edmunds, education and stimulation.
 6.
Let''s all wait to see if Hodgson is a different beast to his ''yes man'' FA predecessors.... or discover that there will be a ''no hard feelings Liverpool'' call up for Carroll and the usual over-capped cronies. No Terry, Lampard and Carroll and I might take an interest in things even if Holty doesn''t get a look in.
[Y][B][Y]
 7.

You''re wrong anyway, Edmund. I can think of plenty of examples from the late eighties and early nineties of fans applauding the opposition. Three that come to mind straightaway - City fans applauding an astonishing goal by Siggi Jonnson for Wednesday against us - sometime around 87, I''d think. A standing ovation for Gazza as he was substituted after giving the best individual performance I''ve ever seen from an opposing player at CR Leeds fans applauding Goss''s goal at Elland Road - 1993. You''re perfectly within your rights to say that you think it''s wrong to applaud the opposition, but to claim this is some kind of new phenomenon is total nonsense.
FACTS!! AAAARRGH!ONE1! SIGGI JONNSON WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH DELIA IN 1987. STEPHEN FRY HAD BUMMED HIS WAY ROUND THE ENTIRE ELLAND ROAD CROWD IN 1993. GAZZA? NOOOOOO! HIS TEARS STARTED THIS LUVVIEDUVVIEDOM IN 1990. MELTING! MEEEEELLLLTING!!!1
I''ve updated your post for you Edmund [:D]
And another one. Take your ridiculous jester hat off and read up about what supporting a football club was like when football was football. You''re either too young or you''ve forgotten.

"You can prove anything with facts"
You haven''t proven anything other than that you are one of the weak minded sheep.

 10. In 20 years time, you''ll be able to look back and see clearly the wasted opportunities under Smith and Jones and see how they took our club to the brink only to be bailed out thanks to Bowkett and McNally.   You''ll also be able to look back on our success under Chase without the Delia Hype Machine whirring in the background. Perhaps then he''ll get the credit he deserves.
 11.
I hope Blackpool beat Wet Spam in the play off final.
Spot on. [Y]
 12. Brainwashed. Go the whole hog and dress up like sheep.
 13. I''m not sure what you''re getting at Slim. Why don''t you blow your beans?
 14. My Father brought me up better than to waste my energy applauding some has been that has just spent the last hour and a bit doing their utmost to put one over our team. It''s an unclean practice, almost impure, especially when it''s the likes of Gerrard who is no more than a thug in boots. How quickly people forget his nightclub shenanigans. The crowd are gradually being dumbed down by the Delia Hype Machine, before long we''ll have half the ground cheering opposition goals and seeing jolly well played, parasites.
 15. I''m old in age GP. Not in posting terms. I don''t apologise for my views. Football is being turned into some sort of wishy-washy farce. Being back the good old days.
