The only chance Holt has got of going is if the job is given to Roy Hodgson. He might see things somewhat differently to Harry or Pearce who won''t give Grant Holt the time of day.

Morison''s body language looks all wrong to me, and has been for a while. He doesn''t look as though he is enjoying his football and that is a concern. He''s been given enough chances as Lambert is very fair, and he did keep Holt out for a while, so he has had the support, but something appears to be amiss for whatever reason.

The only disappointment for me this season is the constant chopping and changing in the team. Some commentators look at this as our strength, but I don''t see it that way at all. I don''t think I have known a team - Norwich or otherwise - that has been changed so much week in, week out. I think it got to the stage a while ago where it became counter productive, with us being too respectful of the opposition before a ball has been kicked. I cannot believe that Lambert doesn''t know what his ''ideal'' starting eleven is, but in his eyes have we got the personnel to play his ideal formation? I believe the answer to this is ''no'', therefore we get a bewildering variation of formations, hoping that one will shine through, like the diamond used to. Assuming we are safe, I believe there WILL be a big clear out in the summer because Lambert knows that he will not be able to go through another season like this one and stay safe with the current group of players. Personally, three at the back is only good late in a game when you''re chasing it, and I was in despair watching it early on against Fulham. 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 is where we need to be for the vast majority of next season, because as brilliant as Lambert has been for us, dare I say he is making life too difficult for even himself and I hope he would take that as a compliment!
