A few things:a) Wilbraham. No longer a joke in my eyes, gave his all when he came on and scored a great goal.b) To the "supporters" around me who booed morison when his name was read out pre game, why bother turning up if you''re going to boo?Should be ashamed of yourself. I''m critical of Morison as my next point proves but you shouldnt boo your own team. Ever.c) Morisons on field performance. Distinct lack of help from others - passing and support etc but f*ck me Steve you dont help yourself mate!No movement, no desire (visible anyway) and the tendency to look like he just doesnt give a f**k. Shocking.e) Howson, Fox and Hoolahan are forging a good trio in our midfield. Played really well. d) The away support. Brilliant once again. The decision by some idiots to sing the ''10 german bombers in the air'' song whilst walking to the game and causing general nuisance was a bit strange but you pay your money... -
We won at QPR in green....Although most teams win at that tinpot little shithole! -
7-0 Norwich.Just for the irony... -
One of my Norwich City supporting pals has just sent me this linkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SL8honNpOr0Hahahahaha!May they rot in the lower leagues for the rest of their existence. -

Thats fair enough, you''re entitled to your opinion [Y]I think one of the reasons I prefer Messi is because FCB are a better side to watch than Arsenal. -
You dont rate Messi?! -
Theres a goal in that video which WFLGH scores against Leyton O.A fantastic near post finish. My favourite of the lot.To think I considered getting Lappin 19 on the back of this year''s home shirt! [:D] Thanks for justifying my choice Holty! -
Steven Gerrard for me.Liverpool have long been my second team (I know, I know I hate that phrase also) and to finally get there and watch him in the flesh at Anfield was a personal long time aim fulfilled .He''s carried Liverpool this season (just like every season). -
The goals against Wolves were his 66th and 67th for Norwich City.Bearing in mind he''s started 109 games and made 12 appearances from the subs bench, his stats are just incredible. What is even more incredible is his stats compared to those in the top 5 list of top Canary goalscorers.Holty is only 13 goals away from the top 5. Nobody could back against him getting in there. What a legend. WFL GH! -
While I think it''s important to be careful and to keep realistic expectations, it is just as important to dream. Why be a football fan if you cant dream the unexpected? We''ll look back at this thread in 3 years and smile at all of the ''silly dreams'' coming true [;)]Bookmark this thread and when Real Madrid rock up for a champions league tie, read it and laugh ;)[:D] -

Hate the fact that now we are in the Premier League, all those who have missed the last 5-6 season now fully on the band wagon are snapping up the away seats, i wonder how many away fans this season went to most in league 1
Its actually rare that they have all been "snapped up", me and my kids have always got tickets we applied for.
Me too Morty. The most popular away trip was Old Trafford and is the only one so far that has gone to ballot in group 3. Spurs went to ballot in group 3 as well I think.Chelsea went to general sale and so did Liverpool. Obviously it depends which group people are in but in my experience season ticket holders have got away tickets for the vast majority of away games. -
OK fair enough.3 years really isnt that far away, this is our first year. -
If you''ll look back through the thread Mr City 1st sir, you will find the link to the EDP article.http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/mcnally_norwich_city_are_staying_put_at_carrow_road_1_815559I know it doesnt say it there and it says '' 35,000 eventually'' but I can honestly say that I heard Bowkett say that after 2 years we would expand to 35,000.I took the notes in shorthand and if I could be bothered (i cant) I could find you the piece of paper with it written on. -

In our entire history there have only ever been 9 league games with a gate over 35k . 4 of them were in the early 1970''s and the other 5 were in Division 3 South between 1948 and 1951.Plus 11 - FA Cup, 1- League Cup 1- Texaco CupHistory says we will never fill a 35k Stadium on a regular basis
Sorry this thread is too long for me to read everything, but i jsut want to pick up on those saying we cannot fill 35,000.Ricardo, i understand why you are looking at previous season to see when we have done it, but you also have to remember the population of Norwich has increased dramatically in the last 10 years and it will continue to do so for a while yet. There have also been several games this season where the demand for tickets has been around 35,000- can''t remmeber where i saw this fact, but i am sure i have seen it somewhere. Both this facts, coupled with continued prem football make it pretty obvious to me that a 35,000 seater will be filled easily enough most weeks. However, i do not see us going too much beyond that, mainly due to the fact we don''t have a big enough catchment area. If Peterborough or Ipswich went into admin then perhaps that would send another 10,000 or so fans our way, but i don''t really see that happening. With 35,000-40,000 being out limit, it''s hard to see how a club of our stature could ever compete on the European front consistently, we jsut won''t generate the revenue.I do believe we can aim for Euro football through the cups and perhaps one season we will finish 6th, but it will never happen on a consistent basis.I just hope city fans keep their feet on the ground after this season. I can imagine a difficult season next year in the prem and i think there is every chance we could be fighting to avoid relegation. I just hope we don''t turn into Blackburn fans and we remember all Lambert has done for us if that was to happen
Why do you think this can I ask?Football clubs grow, we know this. Look at the likes of Newcastle. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that we cant become a permanent fixture in this league and continue to build and grow. -
Did I really just post that we could get ''Champions League football in 4/5 years'' ?!Lambert (and Culverhouse we shouldnt forget) has given us the go-ahead to dream the unthinkable. What a manager he is. -
I just cannot see why Lambert would want to leave- at least for the next 4/5 years.Maybe I''m deluded, but this thread has got me excited about the possibilities. There is NOTHING to suggest that we cant get Champions League football in 4/5 years.I bet Lambert has long term plans of managing at that level, why not with us? -
Before my time as Norwich City supporter so I cant claim to know about him before his sad death today.RIP Jimmy. -
Would it really be a financial risk to expand the ground? The board have already said that after 2 years of premiership football we will begin the expansion of Carrow Road in the post season of the 2nd successive year.Obviously it depends when expansion takes place but I think it''s only a matter of time. -
Which season have you enjoyed the most?Strangely, I''d probably go for league 1. Real football, real fans. A real eye opener. -
Read the ''how far can NCFC go as a club'' thread. Some fascinating insight from some of the best posters on this board about the future of our great club. -
3 days to go :DAbsolutely buzzing for this.Just up the road for me (in comparison to those of you travelling from Norfolk).Revenge! [6] -
Gotta be Jacko''s header?!I dont even need to explain why. -
I''ve renewed.
Are we safe?
