1.

Completely agree CUSDP.

Fantastic win and desperately needed three points. However there is no doubt that a bit a fortune and individual brilliance won the game, not managerial brilliance.
So when we do badly it''s Hughton''s fault. When we do well, it has nothing do with Hughton and the players decided to mutiny against him?
This. At this moment in time I''d get rid of Hughton but to give him stick for the first half "display" and no credit for the second half is very very harsh.

  2. Why has the "Norfolk people love a good moan!" stereotype been mentioned again?Should we be happy with the fact that:We didnt win any of our first 7 games when they started? Our form was abysmal from christmas 2012 until the end of last season? We get hammered every single time we play away from home against the best teams (oh and Fulham where we lost 5-0)?Our attack now seems incredibly predictable, slow and boring (despite spending big money on Hooper and RvW?!)

Yep, no right to question or complain whatsoever....

  3.

The point of the article is to demonstrate MY thoughts as to why Hughton isnt working/was never likely to work.

If Hughton had followed the manager after Lambert he might just have had a better chance of succeeding (ofc that''s just my opinion, we''ll never know!).

It''s not really an article crying for Lambert.... it''s an article to explain why I dont think Hughton has worked (at least not yet).
The problem being of course that nobody was going to be a good follow on act after Lambert. After 3 amazing seasons of success and excitement unparallelled in NCFC history the follow on guy was always going to be on a hiding to nothing.
Agree totally. Moyes is having the same problem at United I believe (although obviously Sir Alex  is/was a bigger force than Lambert).

Fine. So i''m also allowed to think he''s a disrespectful prat then?
Yep, and I have the right to disagree with you...

Stop implying that I''m not letting you have a view by expressing one of my own...

  6.

The poppy has nothing to do with any conflict between Britain and Ireland. Ireland were on our side in WW1 and WW2. The Poppy and Remembrance Sunday is to pay respect to that.

Fine not wearing a poppy in general, but his club wanted to have the players wearing it on their shirt, they quite possibly had players from countries who were on the Axis side in the World Wars (although I don''t know...). No one else made a fuss as far as I know. And its really not going to hurt him, and they probably sold the shirts for charity. Its just disrespectful.
Do you not see the irony?"We fought for democracy in WW2 BUT you''re only allowed to express a view if you agree with the popular majority!"
Will you be wearing a poppy?
I have done in previous years and probably will do this year yes.

But the point remains. I respect the right for anyone to have any view that they hold and to epress it how they wish (as long as they dont harm anybody).

  8.
''Do you really expect an Irishman (given the history of the Irish and the British army) to respect the British?

    Honestly? ''

    Yes.

He''s in this country, he''s being employed and paid by an English football club, he needs to respect that.
Yeah ok. Move to this country and we have to respect all the bad things that said country might have done to family/friends etc..

I respect him for standing up for what he believes. Is not wearing a poppy so offensive?

  9.
Lol. Maybe once or twice.... i just put the threads up and let imaginations take their toll.

Been on this board 10 years now and always try and post as I see it. I know one or 2 dont agree with me... I think a few get the irony, dry humour and honesty though...
Please never label another poster a troll again [:P]

I guess it is a decent question, but yet another opportunity for a good old slag off Chris Hughton session. From what I have seen of RVW, it was very clear that he was gradually and steadily improving as was the way the side were playing (that is off course with the exception of the Manure and Citeh games in which he didnt play of course) and I was expecting this situation to continue and for contonual better supply reaching RVW/Hooper whoever plays (Plenty of strikers in the Premier League have been slow scoring for whatever reason). If I was RVW I would know that things had started to improve on a personal level and would be looking forward to get back in the team to continue the improvement and help the rest of the lads out during a difficult time, and if I was Gary Hooper then I would be very disappointed with my own performances and effort to date and want to get in the side to prove I am better than that (which he is clearly). They maybe thinking differently, and if they are already looking for a way out, then they should go as soon as possible because we dont need players like that who show no commitment after so few games.....not that I think thats the case.
Not like Chris Hughton can influence his performances/the team  set up in any way is it....
