  1. Excellent report, Ricardos...   Some points I''d like to follow up on.   Chris Martin was outstanding when he came on, gave the Parma defence something else to think about, and his touch and vision was matched only by his improved physical presence.   Fox was my personal MOM, I don''t think a single pass of his went astray, and each and every single one kept things moving or set up an attack.  He oozes class and I''m fairly confident that come Saturday night Hansen et al will be remarking on his ''Manchester United Pedigree'' and purring over his passing.   Despite it being a friendly, a few of the morons were out in force.  One chap behind me in particular found time, after a goal and an assist, to remark that Holt was ''looking fat''.   The excitement for Saturday is now building nicely!
  2. Cough bump coughHas this been unstickied as punishment for not turning up to the BBQ last night? I''m sowwy... *hangs head in shame*
  3. There are two rather large camera trucks sat outside Carrow Road right now.    Does this mean that the game is being shown on either English or Spanish telly?   If so, I''m guessing there''ll be a stream somewhere...?
  4. You make a good point, Bovril... lightning storms, also!
  5. I took some photos earlier, which you can all see here (hopefully)... not great quality because I didn''t get there til about 11 and we were stuffed up towards the back... there''s also the fact that there is nothing in life more difficult to photograph than football! But still, I tried...
  6. Thanks for the info bump, I''ll take a look and see if I can wrangle it, seems the least I can do!
  7. Many thanks to you both, you''re gents! Its a struggle to get people to actually go online and make the donation sometimes, thank God for the interweb [:)] Must admit I don''t know much about the BBQ, when and where is it, etc?
  8. I wonder if Barry is going... I work in the Jarrold Stand, I hope you lot aren''t going to be making the place look untidy hanging around outside... [;)]
  9. I''m taking the kids, always safer to take them to a friendly than a league game... got my tickets a short while ago and I have to say that one of the lasses working in that ticket office is as fine as they come. Just a little observation...
  10. Also, if this could be stickied, that would also be much appreciated... [:)]   Anyone who follows me on Twitter will probably already be bored to death of me banging on about this, so apologies in advance...
  11. Hi all!   I was hoping you could all take a look at my page to raise money for Cancer Research.  I''ll be starting this walk 3 weeks today and have been racking up the miles around Norfolk in preparation.  I appreciate that many of you do not know me personally, but anyone willing to donate even the smallest sum would win a place in this Monkey''s affections forever (and its a bloody good cause).   So please, take a look...   Thanks, Evil Monkey   http://www.justgiving.com/Jason-Haden   From the Solway estuary to the Tyne, Hadrian''s Wall National Trail runs for 84 miles (135km) across Northern England.   Built during the Roman occupation of Britain, the Wall remains an important historical landmark and a popular destination for long-distance walkers.   From the 22nd-27th August, I shall be making this journey in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK.   Most people have been affected by Cancer in one way or another, so we all know how important its research is - please give generously!
  12. I''ve been raving about Fox for months, I honestly feel he was a key part in our getting promoted, his passing and vision from the base of the diamond is simply top-notch.   I recently told a few posters who had left Fox out of their ideal starting XI that in doing so they were showing that they simply didn''t know anything about football... harsh, perhaps, but that''s how strongly I feel Fox is a great player.
  13. @jayncfc, out of interest, when did your source say he saw the trio in Nandos? If it was Wednesday then that might tie in with someone else telling me they''d seen Lambert, Lansbury and another (presumed to be his agent) in the ground that night...
  14. Lambert''s car was there, I saw it with my own eyes.   The vehicle which is reported to belong to Lansbury is still there, but I cannot confirm 100% myself that it is indeed his.   Lansbury was spotted inside the ground last night but hasn''t been seen since.
  15. Funnily enough, Northluck C., it was parked at a jaunty angle... apparently he''s notorious for just abandoning his car wherever it rolls up. Its gone now but Lansbury''s Range Rover (if it is indeed his, although apparently he was spotted getting in or out, I forget which) is still there...
  16. It was after 5pm that he was spotted.   I can also mention that his car is apparently still there, and Lambert''s is definitely parked out front of the ground...
  17. I have no idea if this medical happened yesterday, but I have it on good authority that he was at the ground yesterday (don''t worry, different source to the Roger Johnson rumour). This doesn''t confirm a signing is imminent, anything could happen, but it appears they are at least talking to the player.   We shall see...
  18. I''m in!! Been trying since Friday! Cheers Pete!
  19. I think the problem probably lies with the fact that most of the regular contributers to NCFC stories on the Pink''un, seem otherwise engaged.    Michael Bailey has been covering a lot of F1 news of late, and I don''t think its a coincidence that more stories have appears since his return from those duties.  I''m not sure if Chris Lakey is on holiday but he''s been notably absent of late.    A lot of the stories seem to be coming from names I don''t recognise, Cuffley aside, so although I agree that the output at the moment isn''t really of much note, it doesn''t really seem sinister in its origin.
  20. I''m pretty certain he has indeed split from his wife and has a new girlfriend, at least I''d assumed the same as Alysha from his Tweets...   I think Pete made a comment on Twitter that the big man had been cycling down Prince of Wales Road the other day, and it seems he''s in the city a lot...
  21. With regards the stadium expansion, I remember some years ago Doomy talking about extending the City Stand over and across Carrow Road, effectively creating a tunnel for the road to go under, with the stand above.  What that immediately brings to mind is whether or not the existing stand is capable of carrying such a change, structurally?   Also, with the Jarrold Stand a scope for expansion there, the question has to be asked what would happen with the land behind? Pretty much everything from the car park backwards is going to be developed into social housing, with the plan being to build the houses right up to the boundary, so there''d be issues with that too.   As much as I hate the thought of moving from Carrow Road, I wonder if the practical implications now make it difficult to expand the existing stadium enough to accommodate regular PL football, should that come to pass...

  23. official_mushy wrote: One of the Sky Sports reporters has just tweeted this info as well, and he would only be able to publicise such info if there was 100% substance in it.   Has to be one of the funniest things I''ve read on here in a while...
  24. A random thought comes to mind, is it possible to make a Norwich City XI using players who have played for England?
