I haven’t seen anything to suggest that Rashica will terrify Championship defenders. He did ok this season and no more. He certainly has the ability and potential to but I’m not as confident as some on here!

How have we gone from romping the Championship, to embarrassing relegation, to having to sell multiple players to rebuild the team/squad in one season? Absolute shambolic and utter incompetence from all involved with Norwich City Football Club. Heads need to role. In any other industry or career, staff would be demoted or sacked for the same failure in such a short space of time.

Nobody doubts that Webber has been a great servant to the club but he’s is quickly tarnishing his reputation and the fine work he has done over the few years. He needs to address the fans quickly to firstly apologise and then lay out the vision for the future where we have gone wrong and how they are going to put it right. If he cannot do that and is more interested in Everest then he should move on and let someone else take over.

I would like Webber to come out and apologise for his behaviour in the unprofessional incident, acknowledge the fact that Gary has had the decency to do so in public and inform all of us Norwich fans how they are going to rectify all the wrongs from this disastrous season.

Not sure yet. Still a lot to prove. Not on Emi’s level put it that way!

Perfect appointment. Out of work, knows the club inside out, loves Norwich. Webber doesn’t want to be here, thanks for everything you have done for the club but move on, let someone who is 100% committed to the cause and good luck with Everest. Farke always said he saw himself as a Sporting Director, would he want to come? Would he want the position? Would he want to work with Smith, Shakespeare, Adams and Co or has he unsettled business as a coach.

This makes a lot of sense😂 Why sell Aaron’s, because firstly we need the money to invest, secondly he will not fancy another season in the championship. Placheta is still very young, a full Polish international who will only get better and has pace in abundance. Giannoulis again is a full international and a quality player who will do well in the Championship. He’s just been unfortunate that Williams has come in on loan and done so well. Needs a run of games. McClean is good in the Championship but offers nothing in the premiership. Rangers were sniffing around a while back and I’d be tempted to let him leave and reinvest the money. £5 to £8 million was the price quoted I believe. Dowell is ok but Gibson is to slow for the premier league and always has a mistake in him.

Webber doesn’t deserve that kind of abuse, nobody does but for heavens sake he hasn’t helped himself. If Norwich had had a successful season and avoided relegation then no one would have battered an eyelid if he wanted to climb Mount Everest. The timings the key to it all and if he can’t give 100% commitment then move on and let someone who can. I think the guy has done a hell of a lot for the club and the community and it would be sad for it to end badly. Not what anyone wants.

So, Who stays and who goes. For me the midfield has to be addressed. It’s been our Achilles heel for too many seasons now. We need to recoup as much money as we can on the likes of Aaron’s, Zimmerman, McLean, Hernandez, Hugill and bring in 5 or 6 quality additions. No point in us being in the premiership with this setup/ownership. Been there multiple times and failed miserably each time. Not even close to making a success of it. The self sustaining model is a wonderful idea but in reality doesn’t work when competing with the wealthiest. Money talks in football I’m afraid, it buys that extra bit of quality that we just don’t have. We will not bounce back so easy next time and I fear we may see Championship mediocrity for some time. Went into battle with an unloaded gun again.
