I''ve usually noticed that if Ruddy is doing nothing then we have possession and are making attacks on the opposition''s goal. Then again, he''s not really doing nothing as he''ll be watching and anticipating the next moves.

If we look back to our history there have been seasons we have had a brilliant team and won promotions/finished high but, at the time, other teams have had some superior individual players. Anything less than promotion is not a success. We should not have been relegated as decisions should have been made earlier. However they weren''t made and now we''ve got to live with the consequences of those unmade decisions. The Championship is no easy league to win and we have the advantage of parachute payments to build our squad.   What matters is how that money is spent. It needs to be on players who compliment and add to the current players who''ll be staying which RVW didn''t do because despite being a competent goal scorer couldn''t play in our set-up last season and that was over-looked when he was bought.

Interesting theory from the OP. Had wondered myself why it ended this way. Although Lennon was my first choice, Malky has at least managerial experience in more than 1league. Adams does strike me as a panic appointment. Here''s hoping it doesn''t bite us on the ar$e next May.

Couldn''t believe it when I heard Friday. Thought we were gonna get Lennon as he''d left Celtic.   Anyone know what reasons Lennon, Malky and Zola gave for not taking/being offered the post?   Ludicrous decision to offer 3 year contract but it''s been made. Not happy but will support at games.
