  1. Any good rivers? Mine is very stop start and no sound Looks like a fairly lively start though
  2. The worrying thing is that I look at our bench and there isn’t a single player standing out as a ‘bring him on after 60 mins’, even with Fassnacht and Rowe performing as they are. I guess we’ll see Hernandez come on and maybe Idah for Gibbs, but it feels like a really significant drop off from the pitch to the bench at the moment. and as I type that I see Placheta is coming on for Rowe…
  3. Obviously at the referee… That said it looked a pen from my end, I’m more annoyed about how sloppy we were in the build up, totally lost our heads. Seemed to get worse and worse as the half went on, hard to see where a goal is coming from either or how we can change the tide unfortunately.
  4. Just so so much better, isn’t it? Every player looks like they’re loving it; the urgency to get the ball moving in between play, the relentless pressing, the sharp and incisive passing in possession. So much more enjoyable than what we’ve seen live at Carrow Road for some time. Crowd way behind the team as well. Think we can all see the crowd were never the main problem last season…
  5. Keep up the good work Jeremy. Top bloke https://x.com/thejeremyvine/status/1687169860143357952?s=46&t=z33kVmxiYFiSVCJDaLOu-g
  6. Oh wow. You managed to find one comment across an entire article. But there are no comments about anything money-related on any of his Twitter page. Does that really constitute what midlands said? Here it is again… ’Why mention money constantly, why not just get home and STFU about a minor inconvenience. It’s what most people would do.’ Why don’t you just admit you hate the bloke, for no real reason, and are enjoying his misfortune? I think that’s the common denominator here. You can try to justify it with nonsense reasons but that’s the only explanation…. If it was Michael Bailey or any other Norwich related media personality, who you like, at no point would you single any of this stuff out for any kind of abuse or mocking.
  7. Where exactly does he mention money ‘constantly’? I have looked through his Twitter on the flight issue and can’t see a single post about money? Let alone ‘constantly’. I agree that normal people wouldn’t post about it on social media, but then again, most normal people don’t have any social media presence like he does, so what he is doing doesn’t feel super unnatural to me. But even if it was, does it really justify comments about his weight and weird levels of satisfaction about his circumstance? I don’t particularly think this flight issue is a massive problem to him, just find it weird how many posters seem to be getting joy from a fellow NCFC fan’s misfortune, who has done nothing wrong. This thread would make more sense to me if it were an Ipswich fan being mocked...
  8. But that’s the thing I just don’t really feel like he’s made a big deal about it. Have you read his actual posts? They all read very light hearted about the whole thing. It’s not surprising to me that a bloke with a social media problem posts on social media about his misfortune (however severe or not that issue is). It doesn’t mean he’s crying out for sympathy, and he certainly isn’t the one who wrote the articles!
  9. Please calm down, I’m struggling to remember who the ‘offended’ one is supposed to be! As I said I’m all for good natured ribbing (and there has been some of that in this thread), but the posts I highlighted seemed more malicious than playful. If Michael Bailey was stranded abroad there would be absolutely zero posts on here mocking him. Because it wouldn’t be funny. So why is it funny for Jack? Hmmmm
  10. Looking at his social media posts and cross referencing your comments here and I just have no clue what you’re going on about. He seems to be making light of the whole thing? I do agree I’ve no idea why this story is newsworthy, but I don’t see what the lad has done wrong in posting about it on his own profile / seeing if anyone has any tips? Pretty normal behaviour I’d say. Seems like you’re getting rather wound up over absolutely nothing…
  11. Eh? Where did I mention his actual incident in my post? I’m talking about the strange levels of bitterness with some people on this thread. Fair enough if you don’t like someone, but I can’t quite understand the spite when they’ve clearly not done anything to deserve it. Not sure the size of my testes has anything to do with it either but thank you for your concern.
  12. I’ve got a pretty good one cheers. Unfortunately this just feels mean spirited and tragic before any amount of ‘funny’.
  13. Hard to imagine these posters might be grown adults. I mean they’re probably not, but they could be?
  14. To be honest I don't really think the keeper does much wrong, he's making a pretty desperate attempt for the ball but I'd expect most players in that situation to do the exact same thing, just unfortunate that his weight meets Sargent's at the exact wrong time! Not sure what retrospective action should be deserved really?
  15. How I imagine TDK in real life: https://x.com/thejeremyvine/status/1687169860143357952?s=46&t=z33kVmxiYFiSVCJDaLOu-g
  16. Yes, but a lot of things that are seen as ‘fair’ in football would also be deemed assault on the street. If I slide tackled a pensioner down Gentleman’s Walk I’m fairly sure I would not under any circumstance be let off by the policeman, even if I insisted I had won the ball first.
  17. Surprise surprise when playing in a functional and competitive team which has been on a consistent upward trajectory for a number of years, he does better. But I’m sure Normann, Sargent, Tzolis, Rashica and every other signing would’ve looked better in 21-22 if they had a better support system around them. We simply had too many players who were not good enough, with a rubbish overall squad mentality. None of what he does now changes the fact of how poor he was for us two seasons ago, ditto anyone else. I’m surprised with just how much Brighton are still commanding for their players. They have some quality players but they’re made to look all the better when they’ve got such cohesiveness underneath the pitch there. It doesn’t feel like Chelsea, or anyone else, has learnt any lessons from Cucurella who has been woeful since leaving Brighton on a high for £65mil... £110mil for Caicedo is absolutely absurd!
  18. I'd be very surprised to see our game moved now at such short notice, as nice an idea as it is!
