1. Dammit - the proper word was replaced by asterisks by some form of auto edit!   It should of course be w a n k e r s !
2. My Doctor prescribed Viagra Lite.................. ..............He said they''re just for Wankers!
3.
Rodgers is Liverpool''s answer to Bryan Hamilton. A blarneymeister who can talk a good game but his job is safe as Liverpool are owned by Yanks who love the Irish and supported by Scousers a lot of whom come from an Irish background. Nearly half the season gone and the best they have been is 10th.
THIS Scouser comes from a Scottish background and all I can say about Aston Villa is....................   ................... RODGERS OUT!!!!
4. His arrogance holds no bounds!   He is yesterdays man but cannot accept it.   Norwich have ended up in a far better position than if he''d stayed and definitely got the better end of the deal in getting Chris Hughton in.   No matter what the circumstances his attitude and actions at the end were disrespectful to Norwich fans and he has to accept the consequences of that.   Obsessed?   Nah!   Norwich fans have much more important things on their mind to concentrate on now - and celebrate - than to be bothered any more about him.   Norwich have moved onwards and upwards so thank you and good night Mr Lambert
5. The main tactic, by chance or by inention, seems to have been to put the ball to the left of the keeper and keep it low!   Not many keepers are ambidextrous and his left hand side was certainly his weaker side
6. A couple of minor changes caused by injuries had nothing to do with the result.   The result was achieved by hard work with confidence and spirit combined with spot on tactics
7.
All Swansea have to do is turn up!   On a big high after beating Arsenal and everyone saying how wonderful they are it''s a foregone conclusion innit?   Norwich to win 0-3!!!
Well, I was right about the win and if the game was only for 45 mins I would''ve been right about the score too!!

9. He put the ball into Southamptons penalty area on at least 2 occasions!
10. Spent the whole weekend in the company of Evertonians, got in touch with some of old mates back home and we went to the match together which involves gathering together in an Evertonian boozer on Walton Road a few hours before and for several hours after!   They were reservedly confident of a win before the match but complimentary about the draw after saying they had the first half in the pocket but lost the plot in the second and some thought them fortunate not to have lost it.   Some great banter and craic after the game but of course I never metioned LFC and spoke only of Norwich.   So we''ll meet up again in Norwich when Everton come to play - incidentally they seem to prefer John Ruddy as a keeper over Tim Howard, their opinion is that Ruddy is much more a safer keeper.
11. I''ve just made one up, it goes like this:-   Don''t sell Garrido Paddy Garrido You don''t seem to understand If you sell Garrido Paddy Garrido You''re going to have a riot on yer hands OoooooH..........   ........... Pardon? - Oh suit yerselves then!!!!
12.   I understand the FA have now ruled there is no case for Clattenburg to answer   Now what?
13. When Norwich were in the Championship they were interested in him and he would probably have been a good acquisition for that level.   But Norwich are now in the premier league and CMS just isn''t good enough.
14. Thanks Poshboy.   I''ll get down there early and park at the marina
15.
You mean you''re not going to Everton ? Wait till Mungo see''s this, you plastic part timer [:P]
I''m going to both and I hope someone answers the question about Soton parking as I need to know about that too.   Parking at Everton''s no problem for me, I just park outside a mates house whilst we go to the match - since I''d already bought my Norwich ticket I didn''t offend them when I declined their generous offer of watching the match with them - I didn''t fancy drowning in a sea of blue and white!
16. Oooops!   Spelt his name wrong - it is Sgt Willets!
17. In memory of Sgt Willis, Parachute Regiment, June 1974   In a station in the city a British soldier stoodTalking to the people there if the people wouldSome just stared in hatred, and others turned in painAnd the lonely British soldier wished he was back home againCome join the British Army! said the posters in his townSee the world and have your fun come serve before the CrownThe jobs were hard to come by and he could not face the doleSo he took his country''s shilling and enlisted on the rollFor there was no fear of fighting, the Empire long was lostJust ten years in the army getting paid for being bossedThen leave a man experienced a man who''s made the gradeA medal and a pension some mem''ries and a tradeThen came the call to Ireland as the call had come beforeAnother bloody chapter in an endless civil warThe priests they stood on both sides the priests they stood behindAnother fight in Jesus name the blind against the blindThe soldier stood between them between the whistling stonesAnd then the broken bottles that led to broken bonesThe petrol bombs that burnt his hands the nails that pierced his skinAnd wished that he had stayed at home surrounded by his kinThe station filled with people the soldier soon was boredBut better in the station than where the people warredThe room filled up with mothers with daughters and with sonsWho stared with itchy fingers at the soldier and his gunA yell of fear a screech of brakes the shattering of glassThe window of the station broke to let the package passA scream came from the mothers as they ran towards the doorDragging children crying from the bomb upon the floor[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/h/harvey_andrews/the_british_soldier.html ]The soldier stood and could not move his gun he could not useHe knew the bomb had seconds and not minutes on the fuseHe could not run to pick it up and throw it in the streetThere were far too many people there too many running feetTake cover! yelled the soldier, Take cover for your livesAnd the Irishmen threw down their young and stood before their wivesThey turned towards the soldier their eyes alive with fearFor God''s sake save our children or they''ll end their short lives hereThe soldier moved towards the bomb his stomach like a stoneWhy was this his battle God why was he aloneHe lay down on the package and he murmured one farewellTo those at home in England to those he loved so wellHe saw the sights of summer felt the wind upon his browThe young girls in the city parks how precious were they nowThe soaring of the swallow the beauty of the swanThe music of the turning world so soon would it be goneA muffled soft explosion and the room began to quakeThe soldier blown across the floor his blood a crimson lakeThey never heard him cry or shout they never heard him moanAnd they turned their children''s faces from the blood and from the bonesThe crowd outside soon gathered and the ambulances cameTo carry off the body of a pawn lost in the gameAnd the crowd they clapped and cheered and they sang their rebel songsOne soldier less to interfere where he did not belongBut will the children growing up learn at their mothers'' kneesThe story of the soldier who bought their libertyWho used his youthful body as a means towards an endWho gave his life to those who called him murderer not friend
18. The team is:-   CITY: Bunn, Whittaker, Turner, Snodgrass, Howson (c), Surman, Fox, Morison, Butterfield, Tierney, R. Bennett SUBS: Rudd, Holt, Jackson, E. Bennett, Garrido, Barnett
19. The problem with refs is a social problem innit?   This 21st century in which we live is swamped with technology which just a short time ago was almost science fiction.   It''s now a matter of course in everyday lives and most people, industries and professions have encompassed it and use it to great effect.   As much as I hate all this gadgetry my option is to reluctantly use it or sit in the dark.   The footballing public and media use it and have the great luxury of turning back time to have a better look at any incident whilst all the ref has is his eyesight and a guy with a flag.   He doesn''t have a second chance to review what happened.   It will take years for the powers that be to evaluate goal-line technology and forever to make a decision on it - when the ref could have all the information he needs from even just a f****** iphone!!!   In short, referees are denied the same information the public and media have.   No one is suggesting referees be replaced with technology or their powers be diminished.   Just for them to have the same info as the rest of us for them to make THEIR decision.   The most technological thing a ref has is a tin whistle and until the powers that be wake up and keep up with what the rest of the world do this problem with referees will get worse and worse.   I end with a Shsnkly quote   "The trouble with referees is they know the rules, but they don''t know the game"
20. If not something in the water it might''ve been the weather (wind) that contributed to passes going astray, crosses, corners and free kicks zooming into orbit.   It felt a bit blowy outside Villa Park
21.

I can hardly believe someone starting a thread about Liverpool on a Norwich board especially immediately prior to the Villa match!!   I''ve become so wound up with Norwich vs Villa I''ve not even noticed who Liverpool are playing this weekend!!!!
It''s Villa vs. Norwich, Shanks Lad.   My team are playing away.   OTBC
Can''t argue with that ...........
I''m glad you''re paying attention and spotted my deliberate ....ahem....  mistake.   It was a freudian slip in putting Norwich before Villa as psychologically I placed the superior club first!!!   In the same way I can tell you that Liverpool are playing Everton away as I refuse to put Everton''s name before Liverpool.   Well it makes sense to me anyway, if nobody else

23. I posted this on a Villa site:-   "Where was I? Ah yes, back to Villa Vs Norwich. The way I see it is that Lanbert will make a big mistake thinking he knows the Norwich players. He will form his team (Oh how he loves rotation - you''d think he was managing Barca!) based on what he considers individual weaknesses. That will be a mistake as already his knowledge of them is out of date - it;s a different team to last season in many, many ways. Villa will try to head straight through the middle of the park and each attack will be swallowed up by mister Bassong and co and Garrido and Martin will support Pilks and Bennet flying off down the wings whilst Holt creates havoc in defence netting at least twice with Tettey bursting through from midfield to volley a scorcher from 25 yards without the keeper even moving! You have my full permission to copy and paste the above paragraph as a post match report on saturday evening!!!Anyway, come what may I''m sure it will be a great game. Both teams need to win, can''t afford to lose so it will probably be a draw!"   To which I shall add :  I predict a 1-7 win for Norwich and Lambert will move back to Colchester!!! .
