Anyone who doubts Lansbury''s value to us last season only has to look at the DVD. He was involved in most of our positive moves and scored some crucial goals. He has that extra "something" that makes a special player. I''d be delighted if we could get him.

I think the shock departure might be Elliot Ward. His anticipation and distribution can be good but his defensive kicking can be poor and he is liable to lapses of concentration.he will be caught out too often I fear by players of the calibre of Rooney ,Defoe and Drogba.

Easy to say now ,but I remember thinking"what a good appointment " when Col U made PL manager.I was ecstatic when McNally appointed PL in charge of Norwich and wrote a letter of congratulation at the time (not published). What has happened since has been marvellous but not unexpected-it just epitomises what PL is all about.We must keep him and his team at all costs!
