Big clubs possible move could ‘end football as we know it'
FCC replied to Badger's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don’t agree that these clubs haven’t done anything. It appears an agreement was reached with J P Morgan - who negotiated that deal? Who instigated the drawing up of the ESL agreements? We are led to believe papers were served on UEFA to prevent sanctions being imposed, who was responsible for taking that action. I think the 12 clubs should be pressured to provide all relevant information to determine the levels of involvement and the main instigators. Those clubs should then be hit with the severest sanctions. -
Big clubs possible move could ‘end football as we know it'

If the English clubs have signed a 23 year deal, but are prevented by the Government / legislation from taking part, could the other 6 take action against them for failing to compete in the Super League? You would think any damages would hit the English clubs hard. -
A Google of Woodgates time at Leeds may provide some insight into his previous behaviour. Not someone I would want to be involved with our club.

Going to administration was the honest thing? All the creditors you had taken services and products for, that you subsequently didn’t pay for may see it differently. Badly run, and spending beyond your means - so proud.

*****The official We Are Premier League thread*****
FCC replied to Ken Hairy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Everyone at the club has worked incredibly hard to achieve this. So much effort to make it look so classy on a match day, the relentless slog of the matches - absolutely top class from everyone at Carrow Road. A massive thank you to everyone, it has been a real pick me up during a very difficult year. -
So 15 games to go average points for promotion is 86

Anyone can beat anyone - we cannot afford to be complacent, there are no easy games. We have to win the next game, the rest takes care of itself. -
Spoke very well, plays even better. Nice to find out a bit more about the youngsters.

Most passionate fans you’ve encountered
FCC replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I always think the most passionate are those who follow a club with virtually no chance of glory, or are the massively smaller second team in a city. Think Bury, Tranmere, Barrow, - or Espanyol, 1860 Munich. -
I think Cantwell has to play 10. He is the only other player with an eye for goal.
-
I think Brentford and Swansea are better than us this season. Brentford probably lack strength in depth if hit by injuries. I can’t see us beating Brentford, Bournemouth, or Watford, and that for me means playoffs. Given I don’t see us beating teams close to us, my gut feeling is we won’t go up this year. Hope I’m wrong, but we are to slow in possession, and other than Ben I don’t think the new signings are up to it.

If there was a POTS vote today

I think Skipp deserves a lot of credit. Settled in, does the unglamorous work tirelessly, and has great vision on the ball. A real team player who has a great attitude. -
Give the guy a break. It is just going to take time for him to get in tune with the way we play. At times he doesn’t anticipate the balls being played, but that will come.
-
Not in tune with his new teammates yet, but the more he plays the more intuitive it will become. The team know where Pukki will want the pass, or play the ball - to early for Jordan yet. I think he will come good.

Birmingham not happy with Cantwell

The reaction reminds me of when Hux was at his best. Well played Todd. -
England v Denmark match thread

Maguire - just embarrassingly poor. -
Needing a bit more creativity, and with limited time before the window shuts to get involved in silly bidding games, I wonder if we will go back in with a late take it or leave it bid? Don’t know the player at all, so would guess it would only happen if he would be a first team option immediately.
-
Our formation required an attacking midfielder scoring regularly. Perhaps Pukki needs to drop to the No. 10 role, and someone else play as the main striker.
-
Whatever are problems are, Eddie Howe is not the answer.
-
I feel sorry for the lad. Needs to take his time coming back and then no reason he will get another injury. Time for Mumba to step up, and make the most of the chance.

Big fan of Grant. Love his attitude, and a great leader. Hoping Hugill is a similar character.. -

I understand he is undergoing an extensive eye-test as part of the medical. He will be driving to Barnard Castle on Sunday. -
A man who knowingly played international football for a country that he wasn’t eligible to play for. How do these people get jobs spouting their opinion to the rest of us?

Your favourite Norwich kits?
FCC replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Loved the Pony Bruce Oldfield dark blue kit, with the day glo’ yellow and green panels. Really distinctive and looked so sharp.
