  1. I remember Craig Fleming scoring at Crewe in 2004 in Iwans last game and our travelling fans singing There''s only one F in Fleming - which I think he appreciated. Not a new song but perhaps worth resurrecting for Leroy Fer?
  2.                      Ruddy  Martin   Turner   Ayala   Whittaker  Snodgrass   Tettey   Fer   Olsson                     Howson                     Becchio
  3. There''s only one van Wolfswinkel There''s only one van Wolfswinkel He''s cool and he''s Dutch But he can''t get a touch Playing as the Norwich number 9.
  4. Massive respect LDC if you are going to watch that on Match of the Day! Seeing it once was bad enough - I''ll find some solace with my good friend Mr Daniels instead.
  5. Struggled to pick out those positives - the togetherness the team and fans had under Lambert has gone. I had an awful Charlton feeling today Ruddy, v Wolfswinkel, Fer - they won''t be going down even if Norwich do. I am struggling to see how we plan to create chances for v Wolfswinkel. If its playing through sides the passing and movement from the new players is still not up to it. If we are going to lob in high balls - we should have kept Grant. Just hope passing improves as the new players bed in a little and begin to move of the ball to create options. Did anyone else notice - Hull had a corner and 10 men. Hughton still gets all our players back. No leaving someone on the halfway line as a possible outlet. Last manager I can remember doing that was Nigel Worthington.
  6. From my seat - which was covered in bird cr@p - my thoughts on today were:- No idea how we are trying to play. If we use wingers to cross in high balls we might as well have saved our money and kept Holt. We strengthend the squad and seemed to play Howson and Fer out of position. Pass and move requires midfielders moving forward - today ours didn''t. Hughton responded too slowly to the poor performance and in attacking Hull. Shocking performance with no positives that I could see. Hughton in or out - its up to the players he has put his faith in. After today he must be worried at the lack of effort and talent. The away kit didn''t help, I am sure Martin misplaced a couple of passes as both teams had black shorts. As we are only likely to change against Hull, Wolves, and Watford black shorts appears ridiculous. Lastly - I travel alone to the games, so thanks to the fans around me for allowing me to join in the entertaining Hughton in or out half time debate and other conversations.
  7. I think Wes is worth a shout. Not sure how much he cost - but he didn''t push for a move following relegation. Big player in both promotion seasons certainly created a few for Holt. He has been a constant for us through bad and good times.
  8. Ohhhh We all love The Wolf One chance and we know, where the balls going to go It''s in your net, he''s killing you. He''s living the dream, in Yellow and Green And we all love The Wolf! ....... I''ll get my coat.
  9. Always happy to join in. Not happy doing solos - sadly my trim physique puts me in danger of being mistaken for the guy in the Go Compare ads - it didn''t end well for him.
  10. Sunderland used to sing - to the tune of what shall we do with the drunken sailor - Who’s gonna get past Michael Turner? Who’s gonna get past Michael Turner? Who’s gonna get past Michael Turner? No one can get past him! Turner, up he rises Turner, up he rises Turner, up he rises Scoring goals from corners!
  11. Turners sound, if he ever left it''d break my heart?
  12. Excellent post Vazzza - some very good points. I have posted Hughton should go and he does not convince me - although your argument is well made. If we stay up he will have succeeded, and Sunday will be another opportunity to deliver. We should not waste the chance and go down - and I doubt Hughton will survive if we do.
  13. I was at Charlton and Fulham for our relegations on the last day of the season - but can anyone enlighten me as to if we have ever dodged the bullet on the last day of the season when we could potentially go down? Not a good omen, but yes I am going to Man City - surely though its time our luck changed in these situations.
  14. Huge gamble but I would take Adams and Hucks - Craig Fleming could provide some balance to the management team with his defensive nous.
  15. My Jack Daniels isn''t working as we''ll as your tipple Archie. What are you supping, because I have to get some of it. God bless your optimism though.
  16. I have a feeling we won''t see him at Norwich.
  17. Hughton has so far managed to not get a win in any of our must win games - in fact in many we haven''t picked up a point.
  18. He has managed to fail to win a game against our relegation rivals since Christmas. Even a point today, at Stoke, or at Wigan would have been massive. Poor manager, results and performance wise. I hope he goes whatever Division we are in. It all started on the opening day - pathetic performance and he made out It was an honour to be playing against Fulham. A disaster by McNally, and he should have sorted it earlier. Hughton is a choker - not a winner. One good season as a manager when he had by far the best players in the Division. No Ruddy?
  19. It''s about us - not them. It''s our ground, our crowd, our team and our chance to stay up. Criticise the team for being negative - but so are many of us. I''m a natural pessimist, but we have a big home game to win. Forget Lambert, forget Villa - on our day we can get a result, but we need to be together for 90 minutes.
  20. At present I have no confidence we could win a must win game. I hope a point will be ok against Villa. Although Hughtons defensive signings have been good - he appears less successful with Strikers. Kane was not ready, Bechio not given a chance, Kamara not scoring either. I think Hughton needs a better balance in his coaching team. He gets the best out of Defenders - but not from the rest of the squad.
  21. I understand the sentiment after today, but Villas need for all 3 points may be greater than ours - depending on their result against Sunderland. It could be that playing deeper prevents the Villa forwards getting in behind and using their pace. Lambert loves being the underdog and using it against the home team. I hope the crowd can stay with the team for this one. I wouldn''t mind starting with Becchio up front with Howson in the hole. 4-4-1-1 could be effective but we need Bennett to provide pace.
