1. You had me at "Businnes" With such good spelling I completely believe everything you said.
2. Its all Bassongs fault, did nothing in defence again, you wouldn''t have even know he was playing!
3. In the upper Barclay they had a fella with pints already poured for sale. So you got a pint of warm and now flat Carling. But if the beer is all that can be complained about must mean the season is going well
4. Lafferty only got a rap on the knuckles for the same thing http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11709/10528485/kyle-lafferty-fined-23000-for-breaching-betting-rules Linky? £23k fine, perhaps he''ll get let off
5. I think there is a lot of respect for CJ however, as someone rightly pointed out he isn''t Grant Holt which isn''t necessarily a bad thing. CJ puts in a shift every match, he isn''t a prolific striker but his play is more than putting a ball in the net, and i think that we find that frustrating. If you look at his link up play he is great at holding up the ball and then passing it out again for someone else to have an opportunity. Norwich have been wanting a Grant Holt replacement but we''ve yet to find him, and i think thats the problem. We can''t look passed the guy who was prolific in every league he played in. I think the other reason CJ isn''t as fond as he could be is how private he is. The fans cling to players who are "nice" e.g Elliott Bennett. We do show our support from the stands though "Oooohhh Cameron Jerome" - not all players get this, which shows he is popular just maybe not as popular as some previous players.
6. I like Ruddy and i''m really appreciative of what he has done for us, however, he''s nowhere near the prolific goal keeper he once was. Look at how he played before that England call up closely followed by injury. I''m not sure he has ever got back to the same level. I think McGovern has done really well since coming in, yes last night there was 1 shot he parried where i thought he should have held. But all in all he saved us the points and with some good movement.
7. Emmanuel Adebayor is available i believe? lets get him too!
8. I See that Mario Balotelli is having a horrid time at Liverpool. A news article i read hinted he had met with Jose Mourinho for advice and some of that advice was to drop to the Championship for the sake of his career (in regards to joining Wolves) Would you like him at Norwich? - i''m torn, he''s clearly got some talent but its all the trouble he comes with?
9. We can just get Robson-Kanu on a free, then we only need one other Striker!
10. I''d love to see us sign a young striker, who can bag a few goals, we''ve already got an experienced Championship goal scorer in CamJam I''d like to see us take a punt and could potentially be interested: Richairo Živković Dominico Berardi Someone who could last us more than a couple of years.
11. Don''t Panic!! if on the first game of the season we start with a selection of this then we should be walking the league!! GK: Ruddy RB: Pinto/Martin/Whitts CB: Klose/Bennett/Bassong LB: Olsson/Toffolo CM: Howson CM: Tetty RM: Canos/Murphy LM: Brady AM: Wes/Naismith/Maddison ST: Jerome/RVW/Lafferty I dont quite get the Whitts or Turner Contract extensions, but Whitts isn''t too bad as a back up to a back up Turner probably makes a good cuppa!! Big Bass is a brilliant Champs CB, i''m happy to have him at this level, that being said i think a partnership of Klose & RB is the future! Apart from a new Striker do we actually need any new signings?
12. I think this transfer season its about who we keep rather than who we sign! To hear Klose is staying is great news. The 20mill Price Tag Slapped on Brady will hopefully mean we either keep him or have good money for a replacement. If we can hold on to Ollson and Howson then I''m happy. Our current squad is more than sufficient for ripping up the Champs, Only thing i''d like to see is either a new striker or a motivated RVW who must have an eye for goal somewhere... surely... right?
13. dont forget Mr Lafferty can play (badly) on the wing!
14. I''d have either preferred a Local(ish) Company, or one which had ties to the city as we''ve loads that could: Kettle Chips Lotus N&P Virgin Money Jarrolds QD Roys Either that or give up the shirt sponsorship to a Charity such as Barca & Unicef.
15. What are our striking options next year? With Mbokani and Bamford going back that leaves us with.. Jerome, Lafferty, Naismith, Loza, Morris and RVW If we don''t recruit anyone else I have a horrible feeling he''ll be playing for us next season, perhaps there are a few championship goals in him?
16. No thanks, I won''t forget all he did for the club and he''ll always be welcome to visit. I don''t think he is the right man to lead NCFC forward anymore, he never achieved much since leaving for "a bigger club" I still think AN is the man to be at the Helm of NCFC, especially if we get relegated, I think AN is definitely a great Champs manager, and an improving PL manager.
17. You know what, i never rated Pinto the first few times he played, i cringed when i saw the team sheet for the weekend. He played really well on Saturday, fingers crossed it wasn''t a 1 off game and he pushes on to be consistent!
18. I think Relegation would be terrible for Norwich, don''t get me wrong I really did enjoy last season and i find the football to be far better. However I''d like for us to become a settled PL team, I think its not too unachievable especially with the money floating about in the PL these days. My Biggest concern is how good the Championship has become, there are some great teams in the league now, ones who are spending money and buying pretty solid teams. I would be concerned that we''d go down with the expectation of being the best in the league and find it not to be the case. If we can we MUST stay in the PL, the money is getting ridiculous and is driving a huge wedge of class between the PL and Championship, i''d rather be on the Gravy Train than battling to get there. 4 Matches left, total of 12 possible points.... it is in our hands, we just need to fight for it!
19. If this is true, with Klose out as well our defence is going to take a massive turn for the worse. I''m wondering whether Olsson can play CB, he can''t be any worse than Bassong surely? with Brady covering at LB?
20. "IF" we get relegated i''d still like AN at the Helm, he knows how to run a promotion campaign having been successful with two of them (Hamilton & Us) The question i''d ask is who would be better at the helm if we end up in the Championship? He also probably has two transfer plans already in place for the summer, one for Champs (should the worst happen) and the one for PL once our survival is guaranteed.
21. I thought that for once we had a pretty decent ref! He wasn''t wearing any squads colours and gave plenty of fair decisions. Not often this season have i said that about a ref. usually we''re getting everything go against us!
22. I hope not, I am a fan of AN and what he has accomplished with us last season. Before even the start of this season we had people saying that AN was the guy even if we were relegated. How times have changed. I think even if we are relegated we should hold on to him, he is a manager who has history of Promotion after all. I''ve also been impressed with how he and the club have handled themselves this season. We''ve bought some first team players but we''ve also bought some youngsters in, alongside that we''ve got our current youngsters playing on loan getting experience. I think regardless of the league next year Alex Neil is the guy to lead us, and with the quality of youth we''ve got I think next year could be very interesting to watch!
23. Ok I may be going against the general consensus but here goes. I watched last night for two things strength in position and going forwards. Pinto looked terrible as an out and out defender, I think we''ve still got an issue at RB and wonder if confidence will help him, especially if we can get strength next to him and help from mids. Going forward I will give him credit, the biggest bug bear of watching Norwich is the lack of movement off the ball, it seems as though they stand waiting for the ball to come to them rather than trying to get into more promising positions. Quite a few times I noticed Pinto getting into great areas on the wing ready for a pass, which many times didn''t come. I liked his attitude at getting forward and think many could learn from it. Unfortunately that does hinder his effectiveness at RB so not 100% sure of the answer. I''d like to see Pinto, Bennett, Klose and Olsson as the back for for villa, i can''t understand the dropping of Bennett who for me has been our strongest looking cb so far. In front of Pinto I''d like to see someone like VOO who was slowly getting better at covering at RB, I''d love to see Redmond and Pinto team up and teach each other a few things, a good working pair on the Right hand side would be beneficial. Unfortunately at the current point i think both Redmond and Pinto are both interested in getting forward and Redmond is too weak in tackling to cover when Pinto goes forward.
