  1. Toivonen reckons he''s off on holiday and that nothing will happen this month... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/06/13/i-wont-just-accept-first-offer-norwich-target-ola-toivonen-prepared-to-take-time-over-psv-eindhoven-exit/89063/
  2. I''d love something to ''Hungry Like the Wolf'' but for the life of me can''t think of anything that works.
  3. I dip in and out of posting on here at the best of times but do enjoy reading all the views, analysis, debates and heated exchanges throughout the season. It''s a different story during the summer though, the board becomes quite tiresome with all the daft suggestions and the ''i''ve got inside information'' comments. I guess it has become a compulsion for me to glance at the messageboard but I would also like to echo the ''let them get on with it'' sentiment.
  4. I got a small and posted elsewhere that the body was a perfect fit. Sleeves are just daft though, could easily be from a large. Quite like the quality of it too.
  5. So the small shirt came on Saturday but I''ve had such as busy BH i''ve only just tried it on. The body fits me perfectly, not too baggy or tight and not annoyingly short. Could either be worn on its own or would accomodate a tshirt underneath. The collar isn''t as tight as the one with the one we had in 11/12 and it features a fairly obvious holding stich so will be more difficult to rip a la Holt. The sleeves are just bloody confusing, they could easily be from a medium or a large at a push. They reach almost down to my elbows and seem a bit baggy. Whether i''ve got a duff one or not who knows. I am pleased I got a small though and think a medium would''ve been too big for how I like them. Wouldn''t hesitate to recommend it to any nearly 6ft skinny-ish guys! Hope that helps any distance buyers.
  6. Will do. I''m guessing with the bank hol it won''t arrive until the middle of next week now.
  7. I''ve taken the plunge and ordered a small. I guess if it''s stupidly tight then i''ll have to go through the rigmarole and cost of sending it back for a medium. From what people have said though I think it should be fine. I''m a shade under 6ft and quite skinny and figure i''ll just tolerate it being a bit shorter to get the better fit. Once it turns up i''ll update this thread which might help other folks.
  8. It is such a pain. Tempted to go with a small from the advice above though.
  9. I''m sure I saw a few comments on here about the fit of the new shirt but can''t track them down again. Apologies for the repeat thread. Anyway, what are people''s opinions on the fit of the new shirt? I bought a M last season and it seemed ok but maybe a little to baggy (i''m quite tall but a bag of bones) so I was toying with risking going for a small. Anyone else get a medium last season and the new one in M too? If so i''d be grateful of your thoughts on how the two compare. Thanks.
  10. Desmond''s serene face is strangely soothing at times like this.
  11. 2-1. We''ll score early, then late, after their''s hits the net at around 61mins 37seconds. I''ve turned my balls to crystal and can see the scoters are Mr. Snodgrass & Mr. Kamara.
  12. Stick with Bunn. He''s razor sharp at the minute and has displayed passion, fire and drive in abundance. Obviously Ruddy does too but at least for Reading game, go with Bunn.
  13. If they''re out for even one game I would be very concerned indeed. Really not good news!
  14. I''m extremely nervous about it. I have to work Saturday and whereas I would usually have my phone in my pocket to keep up with the score, I''ll be leaving it my locker. Just going to look when it''s done and dusted because I won''t be able to concentrate on work during what will undoubtedly turn out to be a roller coaster ride of an afternoon! Come on City.
  15. I really don''t think we''ll snatch a win but as I''m waiting for the train in sun-drenched Doncaster, I feel a 2-2 isn''t totally beyond us. Last game I can get to this season so lets have something to shout about lads. OTBC.
  16. Would like to meet any of those who have posted stuff which has genuinely held my interest or made me think. Off the top of my head; Purple, GP and Nexus.
  17. It does ruffle my feathers that he has to be that way. I hate the whole "a club like ours" phrase he uses to. As if it''s an excuse for underperforming. I do like the guy and if he keeps us up then great but it would be useful at this stage of the season if he was calming us to arms and whipping the lads up into a frenzy. I figure he''s not that sort of guy though.
  18. I''m usually very positive but I fear Swansea will pull us apart. 0-2 but sincerely hope I''m wrong.
  19. Such a fantastic occasion. I was in the binners section quite close to our fans. After sitting and grinning for the duration of the match (much to the irritation of those around me) I openly celebrated the last goal.
  20. Regardless of the odds, this and Arsenal are my last two games this season so I''m looking forward to getting up there and making plenty of racket! OTBC
  21. Mines got a line above the ''application received'' bit with the seat number etc. Looks like Wigan, Arsenal and at a push Man City are the last games I can get to this season.
