You''re setting yourself, and City, up here GP, Wigwam will be scrapping for their lives, its a no win game and it''ll be bloody tough.
Award for the most obvious post goes to...... Seriously, we all know that there are no easy games in this league, especially against teams that are fighting for their lives at this stage of the season. However, there are easier games, and Wigan can only be described as an easier game. I''m not saying we will definitely win and I can''t be accused of being a fan that under-estimated Wigan, if they do beat us, but I will be disappointed if we fail to get three points tomorrow.

He got three assists in his first two games and looked very sharp.

In all probability, Southampton will get promoted, and if they do, we have no chance of getting him. To be honest, I don''t see us going for him, even if Southampton stay in the Championship.

Are we taking Leicester for granted???
Stretcharm replied to NWC's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We did the same in the run-up to Burnley. They were on a run of 6 wins out of 7, so how Leicester are going better than Burnley were, I''ll never know! We SHOULD beat them, and if we play anywhere near our best, we will beat them. Of course, if we don''t, Leicester have players that can cause us problems, so we will need to be sharp. 2-1 home win for me. -
I will add my guess to the list. Hoolahan to a Championship team - maybe West Ham.

skimpy,miserable and disgracefull norwich city
Stretcharm replied to chris bakewell's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I will assume you''re not being sarcastic. We didn''t give them their full allowance of tickets (4000, I believe) on health and safety grounds, so it wasn''t really the club''s fault. -
Tierney and Vaughan's injuries
Stretcharm replied to Stretcharm's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
That''s great news regarding Vaughan. That just leaves Tierney! Is there something that the club aren''t telling us?! -
I''m an exile so don''t get to read the local rags or listen to the radio/tv, so all I have to go on is various websites. My question is this - what is going on with Tierney and Vaughan''s injuries? I know they are suffering from groin and knee injuries respectively, but how far are they away from first team football? Tierney came back for one sub appearance and hasn''t been seen since and Vaughan appeared to be pushing for a bench place not too long ago, now he''s gone awol again. We are desperate for Tierney at the moment, so I wish they would give more info about the injuries.

If 'Arry' gets the England gig...
Stretcharm replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Don''t see it making any difference. If we could of afforded him in January (when Harry was there), he would be our player now. We couldn''t so he isn''t. I reckon the first two players we''ll sign in the Summer will be Naughton and Snodgrass. -
A sorry, sorry day for footballA successful prosecution would have allowed so much more to come out - just as the original payment in the phone hacking allowed the whole sorry mess to be exposed. Corruption, backhanders, bungs and far worse could have started to see the light. Cleaning up football has been set back. For the fans sake lets hope it is only that ... a setback.
Never mind the fact they were found not guilty!

Personally, I think Lambert as seen that we only need to fork out 850k to get a young talented centre back and thought he''s got nothing to lose.

Henri Lansbury is set to join Norwich for £1.5million
Stretcharm replied to Bovril's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just after he said that, he was asked about the £1.5m transfer on more than five occasions, so what it must be by now, I have no idea. He could of easily said there was nothing in the story. He''s probably just loving the attention and doesn''t want to lose followers.;) -

Stretcharm replied to Bovril's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t think he will come and especially at £1.5m. However, he has been bombarded with messages on Twitter after showing up this afternoon. You would think it would be very easy for him to just deny there and then - but he hasn''t. -
That was our first real pre-season game and we have four left. As our leader says, we''ll be just fine.

No problem, Sussex.;) I''m Carra from 606 - forgot log in details.

If it is McGugan, Bates can shove Snodgrass up his own rectum! McGugan is one of the best players outside the Premier League and would easily not be out of place in the top league. -

Bennett is still holiday so its probably Johnson. -
If we finish in the top 8 next season, Lambert will be able to get whatever job he fancies. Clubs will literally be tripping over themselves to get him. Personally, if we finish between 10th-14th, I think we will have had an astounding season. As for Osman - He won''t come here even if Moyes accepted a bid. If by some strange turn of events he does join us, he would walk into our starting eleven. If he signed tomorrow, he would have more Premier League experience than our whole squad put together. Ultimately that''s what we are going to need for us to have a comfortable season.

Joanna Grey wrote "Why is it "sure"? What evidence have you that there are other clubs in for him? It seems to me that Millwall have a set price in mind and they are holding out for us (the only bidder presumably) to match it." Easy tiger! When have you ever seen a club that is seemingly selling a player comment on bids that are received? There have also been reports that other clubs are interested in him. In my opinion, this all adds up to one thing - they want a bidding war.
