  1. Oi!   I heard that - Iain Dowie, ugly indeed!    Handsome man if ever I saw one.  And  a really nice bloke.
  2. Bloody Hell!   It takes for ever to get a post on here!    Thought it had been lost for ever!
  3. It will be a long hard fight tomorrow boys - I would hate to see any of you lose or any of you be relegated.  However, given my soft spot for Iain Dowie and the work he did at Oldham, I would always wish Palace my best.    As gav says, it will be about who wants it most - the atmosphere will be something else tomorrow - if I were not journeying over the Pennines to watch the mighty blues thrash Barnsley I would be making the trip to Selhurst Park! XX
  4. It must be a nightmare for both sets of fans.    I have respect for both teams and both managers (albeit that I have a soft spot for Iain Dowie, given his background at Oldham).    I wouldn''t want to see any of you lost tomorrow and certainly not be relegated, but I just imagine that Palace will edge it.   If I were not making the trip over the Pennines to watch the mighty Oldham play Barnsley, I would make the journey to watch your game!
  5. It will be a good game lads, but I think Palace will do you over.
  6. Family wedding! Thats a tough one! How very inconsiderate of your relatives! Dont worry - someone will text you the results. Just make sure you leave your phone on vibrate and look the other way when the vicar asks you to switch off all mobiles!
  7. Palace have nothing to lose at all - everything to gain in fact. They will have a brilliant season under the Dowie regime, look at us when he was with us. Even now, the place is still not the same without him. Of course there will be some trying times - no denying that, but they aint coming back down - no way. The self belief that Dowie has given to the Palace team and indeed their fans is beyond comprehension. He really is something else - as for the press interest around him - ask yourselves why - If it''s a tad too difficult, I''ll help you out shall I? He has been in management for less time than it takes a child to learn to feed himself properly and look what he has done. He is destined for bigger things in football - but for now he will do a good job at Palace. He is an impassioned man and not only will he go far, so will any team he is connected with. None of you can afford to be arrogant, but if you could, Palace could afford to be a little more so.
