If opposition managers have any nous they would notice that his main weakness is leaving the right -sided attacker bucket loads of space. This is McCallum ‘s biggest weakness. His attacking play is excellent and enthusiastic, his ball crossing is equal to, or better than Giannoulis. I suspect Giannoulis is probably quicker, but McCallum is a good replacement.

Missing Rowe badly today, Barnes really is a waste of a spot much of the time. Played ok, but there is always a threat of conceding another goal. The shooting has been appalling….

Sainz is instrumental in how the season finishes. With Rowe out injured, he has stepped up to the plate, and some. A joy to watch in his current form.

With a shot accuracy of 25% this season , there is every likelihood that this guy could bring our striker stats to unprecedented depths. The ghost of Van Wolfswinkel (sp?) may yet be usurped….. I find the best way to view NCFC signings is to remain extremely underwhelmed, to reduce deeper disappointment on the actual evidence.
