1. Robert Rosario''s Goal of the Season against Southampton, September 1989.Other contributions by Ray and Rod Wallace, a young looking Tim Sherwood and horribly dubbed commentator. Your memories of the game? Still asking for requests... classic games around 95/96/97?
2. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.Couldn''t happen to a nicer guy.
3.
Utter crap, here, personal attacks are allowed, really, it sucks.
It''s alright here, really. It just takes abit of time to identify who posts shitt and who doesn''t.
4. Don''t get me wrong I like him, it''s just he hasn''t lived up to the hype people are basing he him on.
5.
@ Carra Rud: I take it you haven''t seen him in any of his other 10 appearances then? (Surman that is). I saw him pre season and he was quick, I saw him in a few games before christmas and he was quick. To say that he isn''t unfit and is actually that slow just highlights that you are basing your opinion of him on what? Two games. His knee injuries may well have slowed him up a bit but we shall see. As for he could be quality on the ball, I go back to my first response - have you not seen him play before?
Yes I have seen him in his other ten appearances, minus the training games (Pre-season). I am basing that on what I''ve seen this season, funnily enough. We haven''t seen enough of him to say he''s quality on the ball.
To be fair that is exactly what the Wolves fans said when we signed him; technically brilliant but not quick enough.
Yes, and the Southampton fans.
6. Agree with you Jim on Lansbury and Surman. Lansbury has been pretty poor of late but it''s been overshadowed because he''s been scoring. Where is was playing against Doncaster I''ll never know.I think people are looking at Surman and believing he''s unfit. Believe it, he really is that slow. No doubt he could be quality of the ball but I don''t think we have seen it yet.
7. It''s a touch irrespective because we''re judging them now on what they''ve both achieved. (Crouch in the Champions League and Huckerby a City legend)But at the time of loaning them, similar players currently would probably be Ebanks-Blake, Simon Cox, Andy Reid.
8. A pivotal moment during the the last few months of the 1997-1998 season sees a battling City rescue a point at Edgeley Park. Seen by many as a classic following the 5-nil defeat by Ipswich just three days earlier. It was a toss-up between this comeback and another 2-2 draw at Brammall Lane a few weeks later.(Trying to think of a Adrian Cootee late equaliser/Countown Conundrum pun)
9. They look pretty alike actually. Similar height...Haven''t heard David speak though.
10. Balls. All because he tried to be a clever aarse by letting the ball run out-of-play.
11. This tomorrow would do just fine. Something for our resident Leeds fans too.I like how surprised the camera was by Goss'' goal, giving off a sudden change of exposure. We promise some more recent fillums soon. Requests are most welcome.Did notice this was on CanariesPlayer also. SO SUE ME!
12. £2m for Lansbury is probably about right, if a little expensive.Scott Sinclair signed for less than a million from Chelsea and is a better player.
13. Liverpool (a) 93-94Couldn''t find this anywhere so we thought we''d do the honours. There''s some pretty intriguing poems on the Official Liverpool Forums about the Old Kop, Jeremy Goss and little old Norwich spoiling the party. Can only imagine how much of an occasion this was alongside our run in Europe during the same season. However, there is this on there which I didn''t realise initially but no highlights? Funny how they just cut them out.Enjoy.
14.
I think everyone wants to see a diamond with crofts at the base, hoolahan at the tip, surman left and lansbury right. I think that would be our strongest midfield setup
That''s ludacris, that''s abit TOO attacking to start a game with. Le Tis spoke the other day that Surman lacks "that half yard" to really make it as an outstanding player. Haven''t seen too much of him to cast a proper opinion... tidy on the ball, a little lightweight though? We''ll see.
15. It''s certainly glorified it, if anything. Regardless whether it''s the best league in the worst, it''s the experience that Sky provides that puts this superficial thought in everybodies'' head. There''s no doubt Sky helps the lower league clubs with their revenue and it goes along way to keep them afloat. With Sky''s exposure it just attracts the ''best players'' from all over world. The argument whether it stops talented home grown players making it in the top flight is an old one. For an individual, the HD channels Sky provides is remarkable. However, the regurgitated hype during every Super Sunday always leads to an anti-climax.
16.
you have of course obtained copy right from Visionsport international to use the clip on You tube and link it through here.....
Spoilt sport.
17. He definitely "had good feet for a big man", judging by those goals.Might bring it forward to the mid nineties next week, not that a lot happened.
18. That''s been a familiar feeling along the years at Carrow Road, so much promise; unable to deliver.I must admit, I barely remember him. Although I was two.
19. The name was thought about extensively by the Carra Rud boys, so excuse us. The first proper edition is from the 1991-1992 season and a good old-fashioned humdinger at Carrow Road. Darren Beckford scores three at Carrow Road which goes a long way to ensure our survival in the old Division One.Visit our blog post at CarraRud.blogspot.com and the genuine source for the The Froidee Fillum: Week One.Thank you to Jacko for the request. Last week was Arsenal v Norwich City 1992/1993.
20.
Well done to those who have never left early. You are truest of fans, not only to the club but more importantly, to yourself.
Why do you have to put smiley on the end of a sentence to let everyone you''re joking around here?
21. Check our blog tomorrow. #tease <plug> </plug>
