Yes Fuzzar, I think you''ve hit the nail on the head there. If a manager wants to keep discipline and a tight club squad he cannot allow somebody like Kyle to behave badly and not deal with it. If only he had the grey matter to see that.

Howson had a great game and would be my MOTM. As has been said they all played well, that''s what makes it such a hard pill to swallow. But, onwards and upwards, we have three winnable games coming up and if we can continue to play like that we will be in with a good chance of staying up.i would be feeling a lot more depressed if we had played badly yesterday!

I don''t think he was ever going to give us anything from the outset, I do wonder though how much Naismith getting in his face made him less inclined to penalise Sunderland. The game is sadly becoming even more of a farce, if we are now formally admitting, which is what this essentially is, that we can''t trust PL refs then we are on a very slippery slope. For better or worse the authorities have to back the refs or the game will become unmanageable.
