1. I set up in a customised 4-2-3-1 Wide. With custom tactics.

Ruddy, Martin, Bassong, Turner, Olsson, Snodgrass, Fer, Tettey, Pilkington, Howson, v Wolfswinkel

Ryan Bennett is surprisingly good in defence too.

Changing the players movement from organised to free-form will make a massive difference. Also changing from the default formation is pretty essential.

I tweak the base positions slightly, and the work rate in the formation settings too.

  2. ''We couldn''t score in a brothel''.

Wiz, you are, without doubt, a wind up.

    Chris Hughton is our manager.

    He doesn''t play up front.

If the strikers have an off day/week/month, that is their problem. He can do all he wants in training, but if they don''t score on the pitch, the manager is not to blame.

We created 31 (THIRTY ONE) chances today. That is a lot. If the tactics weren''t right, we wouldn''t have created that many.

Some of you lot are a fugging embarrassment.

  3. I''ve had this in the jarrold before. Was the Forest game in the championship season we came up. Stood up because the rows in front of me did at various chances, and some old-ish fella kept hitting me on the shoulder with a walking stick telling me to sit down.

Found it extremely annoying. People stand up when stuff happens. Deal with it, or buy a seat in the front row.

So yeah, in my opinion, you''re in the right.

  4.
I feel it is only 1 point lost and a win versus Southampton will put us back on track.
Spot on.
I also feel Spurs away was a bit of a turning point last season. Remember at the time it was hailed as "as good as anything under Lambert" by some after a bit of a rubbish start to the season. Worth noting that game is coming up soon. Could kick us into gear again.

  5. Have a feeling we will see a couple more through the door. No "insider knowledge", just a feeling.

Worth remembering in windows gone by recently, we''ve been he last deal to go through in Ryan Bennett and, well, Harry Kane.

Maybe the second one isn''t worth remembering. But still, Davey Mac isn''t afraid to leave it late.

  6. Inter eyeing Quagliarella

Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are showing interest in Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella.

Walter Mazzarri is not entirely satisfied with his options up front and plans to add an experienced forward to his ranks.

Anzhi striker Samuel Eto’o remains the number one name on the hit-list, but with Inter only able to offer the player €4 million per campaign and Chelsea and Real Madrid also keen, it looks as though the Cameroonian won’t be returning to Giuseppe Meazza.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are considering a bid for Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella, who looks set to leave Turin due to fierce competition for places.

His proven track record would make him a great signing for Inter, but everything suggests he won’t be available on the cheap.

Quagliarella, 30, has made a total of 245 Serie A appearances playing for Torino, Sampdoria, Ascoli, Udinese, Napoli and Juventus, scoring 74 goals in the process

  7. I was thinking the exact same thing on the train home.

Martin had a great game, Whittaker was outstanding, but surely as team captain, Bassong has to go straight back in?

5 at the back?! Would be a decent laugh given the ''HE''S TOO DEFENSIVE HINT E'' posts.
