1. The team would then beRuddyR. Martin - ? - ? - Tierney/DrurySurman/Crofts - Gunnarsson/Fox - Hoolahan - GuðmundssonHolt - Jackson/Sigurðarson
 2. Hi! This is my first thread here on this pinkun forum. I come from Iceland and am one of a few Norwich fans here.I know it is in no certainty that we will be promoted to the Premier League this season, but it is getting more and more likely every day. I also know that no one of us fans have the mind of Paul Lambert and that we can trust him whoever he will buy this summer. Whether it will be a Lloyd Doyley from Watford or Charlie Adam from Blackpool we know he will only make good signings.I wanted however to speculate what players the fans would like to sign this summer. I have my short list of players I would like to sign, including some from the Icelandic U-21 team which beat the English one not a long time ago and is due to play at the U-21 Euros in Jylland this summer.Goalkeeper: I trust Ruddy completely and we have decent back-up in Rudd and Steer. Should Ruddy leave to a bigger club I think we should try to go for our Robert Green back. He is a class keeper on his day and one of the best shot stoppers in the Premier League. He would be easier to get if West Ham go down (which is likely). But I would prefer trying to keep Ruddy and spend our transfer fee elsewhere (defence mainly).Defence: Defence has been our weakest area by a country-mile this season. We have only kept a clean-sheet a couple of times while QPR have done it in about 58% of their games. We should look to sign defenders from either Italy (they tend to be class) or England. I don''t really have anyone special in my mind but it is always wise to pluck the best out of the relegated teams.Midfield: Our midfield this season has been superb. Crofts, Fox, Hoolahan and co. just have been I think the best midfield I remember for Norwich. I think we could though possibly bolster it with a player in the Scott Parker mould. He is likely to join Tottenham in the summer but I think Paul Lambert could sneak past them. If we however don''t get him I think we should try to sign either Gylfi Þ. Sigurðsson (Hoffenheim, expensive I know but class) or Aron E. Gunnarsson (great work, similar to Parker). Jóhann B. Guðmundsson (left winger, young) from AZ is also an exciting prospect, along with Eggert G. Jónsson (he can also play defence) the Hearts captain.Attack: Grant Holt and Simeon Jackson <3. I however would never turn Adel Taraabt down. It is rediculous how lazy he looks on the pitch but still seems to turn up with either an assist or a goal every game. I also want to cast the eye over the Icelandic duo of Kolbeinn Sigþórsson (scored 6 goals in Dutch Eredivise, not even Ronaldo did that, is AZ top scorer despite limited playing time) and Björn B. Sigurðarson (6 assists in 3 games in Norway). If I would give myself a 15 millon budget I would of those buy Björn (Norway=cheap), Jóhann and Aron and strong defenders.
 3. Are you a moron?
now where did I leave that pinch of salt?
4.

Morty, the only thing I can think he means are the Man U and Liverpool fans who, admittedly, are rife in this town, will want tickets to games etc. But then he didn''t exactly make that clear if that is the case.
I know exactly what he means.I would like to see a rule where you produce 2 ticket stubs from our League 1 season, and 2 from this season, before you''re allowed to buy tickets for Prem games.People''s loyalty through the bad times should be rewarded.
That would be completely unfair to those who live far away. If they were to get to England they could not get tickets because  they were in afu(king differnet place then
 5. Arent they meaning Reading. Norwich = Canaries, Reading = Royals
 6.
Do Norwich''s plastic fans only come from Gt Yarmouth then?
Are you from Great Yarmouth or what? If you''re from Gt Yarmouth then the biggeest plastic fan is from there.
 7. Ive supported is in prem champo league 1 for about 20 years now me thinks am I plastic no didnt think so FACE
 8. I certainly hope we wont get you. I dont think we will get me as i live in Iceland. Am I then a PLASTIC fan? As far as I know I am just as loyal fan as you though I dont want to pay for flights from Iceland and back again. I support Norwich as well as I possibly can from Iceland. And I will hopefully move to England in da futur to support them more.
 9.
I''ll not admit to knowing all the facts but how many clubs have gone pete tong since going up and then coming down again ? Us, Palace , Boro , Southampton , i could go on if i looked a bit harder at the facts. Most of the above quote money which is of course a huge reason. Take the money aspect away and can we really say we''ll have a better season of football at CR ?
Oldham, Oxford, Luton, Coventry. But most of all WIMBLEDON. But they got relegateed a LONG time ago. But Newcastle, WHam, Birmingham, Blackburn, WBrom have not gone PETE TONG or John Man.
 10.
I see what you are saying, I''d watch City whatever league they are in and frankly prefer beating Walsall to losing to Man U. Savour the present cause it doesn''t often get much better as a City fan than this. But - you can never stand still. To keep the best people at the club (players and management) you have to progress and believe we can rise higher and higher. PS - worst thing about the Prem is less games.
I''ve followed City since theyre last foray into the top league. I''ve followed them on this rollercoster down and up again. But I would like to be able to watch them every weekend rather than occasionally and have to rely on 30 second glimpses on The Football League Show. I''d rather watch them 90 minutes lose 1-0 against Manu, Arsenal and co. than win Walsall 5-0 and only get to see the goals. And I want to see them be able to not only be where they are supposed to be, but punch above their weight like Leeds did a few years ago. Like Schalke are doing.

To keep the best people at the club (players and management) you have to progress and believe we can rise higher and higher. PS - worst thing about the Prem is less games.
Wont being in the Prem lead to possibility of more games.Being in the Prem leads in most cases to stronger teams, who are more likely to go far in the cups, and get to play in Europe. It is always tough to lose but you cant deny that beating Walsall 20-0 would never come close to beating Man U 2-1. Beating Walsall is what every fan of a normal football club should expect, but beating Man U is beating the best. And that is something I know we will do next season. PL King God did it with Borussia Dortmund. He won the Champo League with Borussia Dortmund. I think he will show some surprising connections to European transfer market this summer, because he has huge ties to Germany.I think we will surprise many people next season (if we get promoted) and do a Stoke, but with pretty football.I also hope that in the next weeks Wigan will be relegated because I hate to see 8000 turn up for a Prem game.
 12. I think we need a wage cap. Why?I have heard that Blackpool have a wage cap of 10,000 pounds. They are obviously the smallest team in the Prem, and we are almost twice as big as them (calculating in seats in stadium). I think we should not exactly copy the Blackpool setup as they have NOT been able to attract good players that way. They are only fighting relegation with IIan Holloways aggression and will-power. Not ability.I think we should however put a cap on our wage but we should have that 20,000 pounds and then have a marquee player system like they do in Aussieland where Michael Theoklitos is the best keeper around. We should do that do we can possibly attract players who have Champions League experience and can be a star of our team, the core. We look at Schalke and how they have managed to land Raúl. We could manage to land a similar player (maybe not that good at first).
 13. No of course we don''t want promotion. I want to stay in this league so we can become the new Coventry, Preston e.t.c. I think maybe we could get into the UEFA Champions League of second tiers by finishing in the playoffs without getting promoted. THAT would be exciting. It is such a dumb questin to ask wether we want promotion or not. Ask a Blackpudlian, ask a citizen of Wolverhampton. Ask a fan of Stoke City. Ask them if they dread the thought of relegation or if that is  the real aim to get relegated to the Championship. Why would this season be exciting if promotion is not the aim? Then we would boo  the players after winning Derby 3-2 to take the destiny out of our hands of staying in the Championship. All Cardiff need to do is lose all their games and we then have to go up.
 14. My record is as it stands not that impressive. I plan to make it better by going to university in the UK and (at least) attend away games close to that university (that will not happen however until after 2-5 years). I''ve however watched all televised games.Record this season:Matches: 0Won: 0Lost: 0Drawn: 0Location: IcelandAll-time record:Matches: 1Won: 1Goals For: 3Goals Against: 2Fans around me: WBAWhy: I dont know, I was just in the wrong end so I sat quietly all game long hoping to be not beat up.Location: Fortress CR.
 15. I think if I were Paul Lambert I would not allow the players to find out the result from Boro vs. Card if City. They have to play like that game is the only game of  the season in the 2 team league of Norwich and Portsmouth. Like this is the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth. The result of the Boro vs. Card if doesn''t really matter because all the guys need to do is win. If they win they even might get promoted at Fratton Park, subject to Boro defeating Card if. And on that matter, the chance of Boro defeating Card if is huge. They have a proven manager who has taken West Brom out of this league, and a squad of former Premier League players and SPL stars. They are just starting to roll into form after beating Hull 4-2 and some other results catapulting them up the starting and close to If shit. (If shit=Ipswich and no shit=Norwich). They have even amongst them players who have played in the final of the UEFA Cup (now Europa League) so it''s not like they have a squad the strength of Barnsley or Doncaster. They have a squad of Premier League strength which has severely underperformed this season.
