  1. Just tried it out via condiments on the kitchen table. The opposition toaster (centre back pairing) couldn''t cope. Far too static to pick up the wily moves/position swaps//easy-ohsies of the mustard (lansbury), pepper (martin) and sainsburys mini gherkins (wes). FORMATION/TACTIC ENDORSED.
  2. A positive first 10 minutes is undone after Portsmouth score off their first corner. A corner that should not have been given to boot. GAH! Consumed with revenge, Crofts lashes one at goal straight from the restart, it deflects wickedly off Simeon Jacksons calf and pings in the net. HAVE SUMMA THAT!! With the River End roaring the boys on like feral beasts, City dominate the remainder of the first half, Lappin and Russell Martin whipping in some wonderful crosses which cause pandy in the Pompy pen area. Still, its 1-1 at halfsies. ---half time---some one hits the cross bar 3x in a row in the challenge. A good omen. Second half City snot Pompey AOTS, Chris Martin gets 2, the second of which is a venomous first time volley and there time for Simeon to bag one before being subbed for the almost forgotten Oli Johnson, who hits the woodwork with his first effort then gets send off for calling the ref a ballbag when his second effort in the dying moments is (correctly) ruled out for offside. 4-1 Norwich.
  3. Any Canary Call after a game Chrissys not scored: "He hint new guud Neil, he hunt gort new payse, he hint effective in the air, he''s a trouble maker Neil, surely Lambert worta get rid?" He''s our Robbie Fowler. #1 finisher at the club. He''ll poach us to the prem. Just needs to grow his hair long and wear a headband, Crespo-style.
  4. Hi Ian/Ian''s agent!! Nah he was well bluutey I''d rather get Lee Marshall, COOTE, and Paul McVeigh back.
  5. Surely, in this age of precision US Army weapon deployment and Sky "blimp cam" the powers that be at the FA can combine the two and come up with some kind of napalm bomb which is designed to fall dead on the centre spot and incinerate the ice and snow. Just enough of a blast to do this. No hoardings or spectators must get singed or vapourised, thats vital. They can try it out on Colchesters lagoon till they get the napalm mixture right.   SORT IT BROOKING.
  6. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/dec/08/the-knowledge-pools-panel-creation   Love to have seen this pre-match. Sensational scenes.
  7. goodbye turkey man though i never knew you at all i trespassed your estate loads and fished your many ponds your guards were all old men and i was on a bmx my grandad always loathed you and threatened arson on your sheds   and it seemed to me you lived your life like a multi-millionaire recluse never investing in norwich city when itv digital collapsed but your turkey drummers will always sell here kids love that breadcrumbed muck your candle burned out long before this christmas earned a few more bucks
  8. Korey can break moves up. Fox looks like a ''watercarrier'' type, happy to sit and take the ball off the defence and get the ball ticking over, also always shows for the easy pass. Crofts up and down the pitch box to box and being decent at both roles is something we''ve needed for years. I reckon he''ll be our next captain, with Elliot Ward vice captain.
  9. Millwall 0 - 2 Norwich                       Holt 23                       Fox 78 Att: 8,350
  10. Aye. bin this diamond off and play Korey or Fox in the middle as a deeper player and let Croft get forward now and then. The lack of width other than our fullbacks is too easily countered, especially when we want to retain possession and control games at home.
  11. Agree with you 100% Don''t try and shoehorn everyone into the diamond. Millwall ain''t at full strength either so go for them. Chris Martin cutting in to shoot on his right foot is his favoured move, also lets fox just stay back and pass the ball simply, good outlets for him in hoolahan and macnamee. I''d like to see us start home games like this, crofts is better off the leash and playing a passer like fox who just stays back is better than someone who might be a better tackler but is scared/useless with the ball.
