1. Delia does appear to get up a few poster noses on here with some long distant made remarks which never particularly bothered me in the slightest. I guess being the majority shareholders makes them fair game in some peoples minds for all the current ills at Norwich City and no doubt they do have some degree of responsibility. It’s the degree of responsibility where I would disagree with her more ardent critics. On a day to day running of the football side of the club I suspect most  of us are unclear what their role or input is. I seem to remember her wanting to help players with their diets regime which would seem a logical step and no doubt she has a say on hiring’s and firings, but again I suspect this is done on a board level, rather than shareholding status. In the long term the board need to look at their strategy and asses where things have stagnated and where hopeful improvements can be made. In the short term I believe we all need to roll our sleeves up and do whatever we can to stop our current slump. For me that means supporting the team vocally when I attend and that’s what I intend to do come Blackpool.
2. I did not see the programme and as a person Mr Jordan may not be my cup of tea. However he use to write in the Observer Sport for a short period of time and his column was always thought provoking and interesting. So although he maybe a controversial figure, he is often worth listening to in my humble opinion.
3. Disappointing to say the least and very worrying.  Obviously was not at the game today being an exile in Crewe, but at this rate we will be sucked into a relegation battle and with our current team spirit it’s a battle I would not bet on us to survive… So what can the club do about it? Firstly I think the players need to take a long hard look at themselves and some leaders other than Dublin need to step forward. Secondly we obviously need to bring in two to three players ASAP who can lift the team and settle some nerves.  Would suggest we need a new keeper, another central defender and some battler in midfield who can protect our porous defence. No names from me, since unlike some poster I am not a part-time scout, but surely there must be some players available either up to the challenge of stepping up a division or some premiership loan signings looking to place themselves in the shop window. Thirdly the board need to give Grant whatever funds they have at their disposal and then some more, because going down is not an option unless we are still following the Charlton model? If there are local business people who will to come on board and help, then I suggest we entertain discussions at least. Of course all this maybe already be going on behind the scenes, but if the situation has not changed by the end of January then we may be asking the question are we too bad to stay up? The evidence in results of late would suggest a yes to that question. Thankfully a prior engagement means I am not off to Burnley next weekend, but not looking forward to the trip to Blackpool for sure… Thanks for a great birthday present Norwich. I am off to drown my sorrows and find an imagery cat to kick.
4. I would guess that our scouts have seen some potential in him at least. I know nothing about the player and I am sure none of us on here do either. Not an awe inspiring signing I admit, if he comes to us, but then again he might just prove to be a find. Give the guy a break at least....
5. Answer to your points, but I do share some of your worries.   1 – How do you know what we have bid for any players and whether there is any lack of ambition at NCFC?  Inside knowledge or speculation on your part? 2- If we keep making mention of players we want to sign and then sign none of them or comparable players how does that help the board of NCFC in the long run with the fans?    3- I can’t remember seeing Delia saying anything public about flurry of transfer activity. If she has then please point me out the relevant article by her? I doubt she vets everything coming out of NCFC. 4 – I think every player has always had his price. Does not matter what club you are at even Chelsea I would say.  It’s called cashing in on assets and hopefully investing in the long term future if the board are clever. 5 – I have little knowledge of all our mentioned potential players we have been linked with, or little do I care in some respects. I hope and trust that our club scouts are up to the task to decide on who might improve in the team. I can think of many a player that came here before with no great reputation and improved our team in the long term. Whoever comes in I hope we give them time and the chance to prove themselves.
6. After Becks had passed his sell by date. He could be processed into Beckham Balls. Sure that would leave a taste in the mouth!
7. Not seen enough of Henderson to really form an opion. I believe he favours being a striker, but the times I have seen him play was on the wing. Guess he must be about 21 now and looking doubtful he will break through. If thats the case then best for him and us if he moves on. Still if it''s true that we have not had a reserve game since Spurs last night from December the 2nd that is shocking. We need more please... Get on that phone PG and arrange some or some other lackey please.
8. First of all if Flem is going then I would say thankyou for such great service over so many long years. He was a great central defender for us and served us well and I can never remember a game he did not give his all. His partnership with Malky in our championship winning season was awesome. Malky I would love to see back in the club, but in two years time in coaching role. Don''t think we need to replace an old CB with another old CB. Dion has been a great signing and again I would like to see him next year, since his knowledge of and leadership abilities are what all teams need. Would have prefered Sutton in the summer, but guess we never could afford his wages and lets face it he''s been injuried most of the time, so maybe Worthy was right? To end I will not be glad if Flem leaves in many ways because he has been a rock at this club and will always have my respect whatever he does in the future. Thanks for the great memories if you do go now. If you stay, then you can count on my support mate, since after this many years here, you are my mate.... Loyalty deserves respect in my book.
9.

I have no problem with people who have different views to me, thats what messageboards are about. However, I do have a problem with people who make stuff up and post it on here to show the club and/or the players in a bad light. And, I will go even further and say that anyone who makes up stuff to show the club and/or players in a bad light cannot possibly be a true fan or a real fan or, in fact, any sort of fan at all! As said by another poster just the other day... digest that at your leisure!
I hope that isn''t refering to me.... because evrything that I have stated has been truth and/or comment from the club  itself... Discuss at your leisure... Like Ricky says, I don''t give a monkeys what anybody thinks, time will prove me and a few others right... and those of you that have towed the party line wrong... I am sure of that and will await your apologies...  not that I would expect any because that is of no importance to me... What is of importance to me is that Delia & Co stop ripping the Norfolk public off!!!
Smudger who obviously do care that you are proven right, or why would you post so often! Everything I have read of late from your threads have been trying to justify your version of the “truth” to others on here. Those that do not follow your line are invariably called ‘sheep’ or some other petty insult. The world to you is cut and dry. Well maybe you are right and I am ‘sheep’, but I for one do not sure your paranoid opinion of the board and the ‘doomed’ state of CR. We are a club with a new manager in transition. Whether you like it or not we have a ground to be proud of, a large attendance for now and debt that we are told is manageable. You appear obsessed with your view point and even may I say hopeful that your doom, black fill prophecy becomes true… Well if it does then I will see you as the next coming and immediately see you as the chosen one! Until then give it a rest mate on this subject at least. Tell us how you would save the club and something a little more constructive please.
10.

where did the 1.1 million go ?
Straight into Delia''s pockets no doubt!!! DELIA AND GRANT OUT ALSO CROFT AND SOME OF THE CATERING STAFF AND OTHER RANDOM PEOPLE
And you evidence is where? It''s a decision that has been made and no doubt those who made that decision thought it was the best potential investment at the time. They maybe proved wrong, but I seriously doubt it was done with the thought of improving the directors personal bank balance. DS and her hubby are rich enough I am sure without trying to rip us off. You may disagree with the hotel and wanted an infill as I did, but please some perspective.Maybe a little less name calling when it seems to me that for the rich there are easier ways and with alot hassle to increase their money in other areas.
11.
I can''t speak for the masses but i for one am not some idiot who cannot think for himself i opposed chase & i opposed worthington but i don''t oppose our board and i don''t agree with your opinions, i realise that things are pretty bad at the moment but i don''t beleive it''s all down to our board and that whole sale changes are going to make the slightest difference in fact i think it''d just unsettle the club and make things 10 times worse. This is a curious one for me. You opposed Chase and Worthington....yet somehow DS and her Disciples are to be forgiven all sins?  The wholesale changes currently needed at the club are nothing to do with the Board....despite a tenure of 10 long years? The removal of the Board now would cause things at CR to become unsettled? Who then is behind the current mess at the club? Who is ultimately responsible for Worthington''s legacy? Who is responsible for our appalling squad brought in due to "prudent"  business practices? Who is responsible for the fact that any player worth having over 10 years has been sold...and not adequately replaced? Who is responsible for the season ticket scam...organised to ensure full stands (despite the appalling quality of football) rather than allow "casual" supporters to be a part of things? Who is responsible for the endless ''spin''.....smokescreens and financial cover-ups so endemic in the club today? And finally.....who still regularly gets her mug on television and throughout the press despite the failing team on the pitch? I think this is the easiest question to answer of all..........
A brief response to some of your points. You opposed Chase and Worthington....yet somehow DS and her Disciples are to be forgiven all sins?  The wholesale changes currently needed at the club are nothing to do with the Board....despite a tenure of 10 long years? The removal of the Board now would cause things at CR to become unsettled? The removal of the board would no doubt cause CR to become unsettled in the short-term and whether it would be for the better or worse in the long run no one can say for now. Who then is behind the current mess at the club? Who is ultimately responsible for Worthington''s legacy? Who is responsible for our appalling squad brought in due to "prudent"  business practices? Who is responsible for the fact that any player worth having over 10 years has been sold...and not adequately replaced? The board is ultimately in control of the clubs situation. However I would not paint our predicament in such gloomy terms. Is our squad appalling or under-performing? Is the board position “prudent” or are they cutting their cloth to fit the situation. On goals per game ratio, then Ernie would seem a very adequate replacement for Ashton. Who is responsible for the season ticket scam...organised to ensure full stands (despite the appalling quality of football) rather than allow "casual" supporters to be a part of things? Who is responsible for the endless ''spin''.....smokescreens and financial cover-ups so endemic in the club today? Is it a ‘scam’? I believe NCFC are still have some of the lowest season ticket prices in the Championship and even though I am one of the so called ‘victims’ of the policy living away from Norwich, I would rather see full stands week on week and money going into the club, rather than half-empty stands. And finally.....who still regularly gets her mug on television and throughout the press despite the failing team on the pitch? I think this is the easiest question to answer of all.......... And your point is?
12. I think it''s true to say that hard core supporters go to games. Would not class myself as one who have only been to three away games this year. So for me that statement is true, as in not being a hard core supporter.. Does not mean I support the team, but it does mean I am not spending my hard earned cash. Perhaps they have some insight to the games that we did not witness. Rather than harking back to 10, 20 or 50 years ago when we went every game?
13. Thanks for the report. Been there twice and hate the place and the Palace...
14. We are an under-achieveing club like another ten clubs in this division at the moment whose fans always believe they deserve better... One day we will get back to the so called promised land and then we will find more reasons to moan. It''s part and parcel of being of fan! I love it...
15. I heard a rumor that Ernie was seen on a grass knoll in Dallas circa 1963. Did not believe that either!  Then again he is a sharp shooter. So maybe some truth in it…
16. Undoubtedly attendances have been swollen with the fear of not getting a ticket to home games and season ticket renewals. Also obviously if we fail to improve on current form, then that demand will go down. It’s always been the case at every football club and even the likes of Man United I remember having empty seats in the 1980’s. To be honest I have not been able to get a home ticket for the past four years living away from Norwich, but have made numerous away games. On a purely selfish point of view tickets available when I am back in Norwich would be welcome. Still miss the days of just turning up and paying on the door. Happy days
17. PG needs time and we should give him that at least. Lets see how he does in thetransfer window. Sounds to me like he is making a list of those that need to go and those that he would like to come in. He maybe a tad outspoken, but I seem to remember several people on here complaining about Worthy always protecting the players and coming out with the same old excuses. Well PG can not be accused of that for sure. Just wonder though when he might blame himself for once instead of everyone else!  I am sure it will come. Still prepared to give the guy plenty of time before judging his reign.
18. I was not at the game, instead went to see Chester play Lincoln to rack off another ground and a good game it was to. Standing made a change! Back to the point, I feel you are entitled to voice your displeasure, but then again if doing that you get a counter-reaction then you can hardly be surprised. People take set-backs in different ways. Some go for the full blooded moan and others retreat to a defensive position based on theories of loyalty etc. Neither is really wrong or right and as long as it does not spill over to violence then that’s I guess is what we call democracy. At the end of the day we all want Norwich to win and I hope that binds us together no matter how any of us see the different ways forward. Keep wearying the shirt with pride mate.
19. I would have thought that Norwich would be a good club for someone to invest in for the following reasons. A captive audience. Near full house already and with investment in the team that could expect to be in the premiership every third year then money could be made. Sizeable assets, with catering and a third percentage in a hotel., plus conference facilities. A well known personality on the board. Many pluses. Trouble is anyone with any money can make bigger returns from normal business no doubt, since Football is not really a money making business still compared to other opportunities. They would have to be either in love with the club, or just want some ego boosting trip.
20. Now I am sure there are many good West Ham fans, but the thing I dislike about West Ham is the way their fans are portrayed as chirpy cockneys. Whilst the likes of Leeds, Millwall etc are vilified as hooligans. To my mind West Ham fans were always the most vicious thugs in the 80''s and this media belief of the 1966 football academy let them get away with it in the media eyes. So would not shed a tear if they were relegated, then again I care little for any team than our beloved side.
21. And he here until at least January... Another positive thing!
22. What will Delia’s legacy be? 1 – Increased attendances 2- Better facilities 3 – Promotion to the premiership 4 – A marketing department that gets fans to renew season tickets at a staggering percentage. 5 – Greater say and interaction with fans and their forums. 6- A drunken rant, which I thought showed passion and never embarrassed me. 7 – Showing maybe too much loyalty, which is not necessary a bad point. 8 – Giving our provincial club more exposure than we might have warranted. 9 – Loaned the club god knows how much money, which I suspect she will never call in. All in pretty positive for me. Has she and board made mistakes. Hell yes, and they have been aired on here before. But lets not belittle her and hubby’s time and effort please. We could and have had a lot worse people in charge.
23. So come January how would you progress the club right now if you were in the Chief Executive or managerial role? Would it be?  Loan signings. Two or three quality could get us in the play-offs  perhaps. See Stoke right now.  Permanent transfers.  Long term investments, but not a good time to buy in Janaury.  Another share issue. Can’t see that one at this late time and unlikely to raise much.  Outside investment and if so from where?  Plan for next season?  New board?  New manager?  Hijack Morrison’s car park and sell it for houses!  Must admit reading the accounts was rather depressing and I guess the shoe strings will be tight, but some creative souls out there on this board might have some ideas to our presents woes. Over to the floor for some creative thinking!
24. Seems to me that you are only really ever happy when stirring things up with that wand of yours!  I can think of a place I would like to shove it sometimes.  Sunderland away was never going to be an easy game and it’s certainly one I would have put down as a home win on the pools.  Far too early to judge Peter Grant for now, so why try to start unrest on here. Only you can answer that one my friend.
25. Well he can certainly bang them in. Lets hope we can keep hold of the Welsh Wizard beyond January. Not a great team player IMHO, but a great goal scorer and every team needs one of them. Thank god we have one for, or where would we be now in the table?
