1. Seems to me from this thread he is damned if he says something and damned if he does not. Never sent him an email, but at least he seems to answer then. How many other CEO would even bother to do that. Now his responses maybe not to your liking and I can share them senitiments in many cases, but I don''t think you can really say he hides from the fans.
2. I actually thought I would have to scroll down alot longer!
3. Agreed we must avoid that fate. However how would it be a bonus to the board to get relegated? I am sure they share your opinion on that fate at least..
4.

so london canary if we go down to Div 1 thats ok is it, because its happened to other teams, i know lets go out the league like torquay, some of you really amaze me with some of the garbage you put forward, where is your pride in our club.
No Ricky Kinght, your missing the point still, i''m not comdomeing the clubs current state of which the fooball at this current moment in time is very poor to say the least, but some fans on here have to accept the fact that were simply not as good as we all want us to be and some fans believe that our club should be one of the best in this league which isn''t true. I''m just as angry as anyone else is about how poor our team is performaning at this moment in thime but i''m copeing with that by trying to stay positive and not turning against the club like some fans on here are. Sorry for not looking at it the way you are but that''s just my opinion even if you think it''s garbage, but I just can''t see how all this protesting and complaing about the club will do anything to help move the club in the right direction, so just get over yourself and do what you fans are surpost to do and that''s support the club noting more nothing less.
Well it sure as hell sounds like you are condoning it to me London_Canary. You accept that we are not very good if you want to... but the truth is that the majority of City fans are very unhappy indeed with the awful football that they have had to witness for the past two years or so... it is just a shame that most of them are too polite by half to make a fuss!!! I am well and truly sick of people like you defending the indefencible. I haven''t turned against the club... I have turned against the fools that are running it in to the ground and the so called fans who seem to get confused about how to back a football club because they are too busy licking the ass of those who are only it''s guardains and in my opiniion do not have the best interests of the club and it''s supporters at heart.
Smudger I doubt many fans are happy with the team, manager or the board right now. Where some of us may disagree is what steps or actions are needed to be taken and whether the board are standing in the way of progress on the field or not. Obviously you are of the opinion that the board are inept and should go. Results and current league position support your cause. Where I may dither from you is that without a potential investor or takeover what can supporters do than to try and support the team right now! You appear happy for us to lose, but without that other solution of a new board where does that leave us? I may suggest even in a worse position than we now! I am certainly not licking anyone and shudder at the thought of a famous cookery writer in front of me asking for that service!
5.

Priceless.... Is it just me that finds the thought of Smudger and his select bunch of halfwits sending each other love letter highly amusing? [:D]
That''s pathetic Herb, if you can find any positives from last night''s game you must be taking happy pills. It was dire, and according to the guys sitting around me, it was marvellous compared with Saturday. How much longer must we tolerate this mediocrity?
Let’s face hard facts Norwich have always been fairly mediocre in end league positions and cup runs throughout our history. Yes we have had a very few wonderful seasons and hit above out weight, but we have never ever been considered a big club. I guess what has change of late over the last 7 years is that football has become more popular certainly in attendance figures for Norwich. Therefore maybe expectations have gone up amongst certain fans that 24,000 fans make us a big club and we should strive for more success. Again I can see the argument and there is logic to that. However football costs have also exploded over that time and even the very mediocre team we have now costs an arm and leg which attendances alone seems unable to support. It seems to me the current board have tried to maximise assets and profits from non-football revenue to fill this gap. This in itself is not a bad idea. However maybe they have followed that path at the cost to the team when we got promoted and certainly during the last two years where I think we needed to spend more on good players that could possibly have given us a return to the top flight within two years which should have been their main aim. Where I do dither from certain negative\realist poster is that I do not believe that the board are trying to line their own pockets by their actions misguided or not. Until someone or events prove me wrong, then I am not going to slate them personally or on here. The solution is! Well some new investors would be welcome to invest in players, coaches. If they are out there then the board should be looking for them and with the Turners on board one assumes that they are not averse to new money from people they perceive they can work with. Supporting Norwich for me is not about success on the field and I guess for many others it’s the same. I support the team because that’s where I come from, enjoy the few away games where I get to see the team, meet friends and feel a belonging in good times, plus bad with my fellow band of brothers. I understand the frustration, but could never wish my team to lose.
6. This board have made some dubious decisions over their tenure mostly being not being positive enough when we reach the Premiership and not being harsh enough with the manager when we got relegated and striving for a quick return that year. However I do not believe that the majority shareholders are using the club to further their own bank balances. We are all obviously upset about the current position and standard of football on offer right now. Things obviously have to change soon in some form and maybe the ‘Turners’ will bring their money and business acumen to bare in the coming months.  However I do not see Smith and co as money grabbers trying to make a quick profit. There are far more lucrative ways to make easy profit then running a football team IMHO for people with large bank balances.
7.
Oh get a grip. If Grant goes we need a manager with proven success. Not some ex players who we quite liked. Proven means success at another club, promotion, winning things. Not Iwan, not Newell, not bloody Malky, not another untried novice. We need a Jewell. The board need to understand that the manager is worth putting some serious cash into, monketys and peanuts come to mind, but a really decent manager is going to cost, but relegation will cost more in the long run.
Paul Jewell would seem a good choice to me. Whether he would come to us if a different matter though!
8.
For the record we meet at the Blyth Jex school. Wizard, Arthur, Smudger et al - as you seem to be experts on supporters groups, what they should be called, what they should do, what they should say, who they should talk to, whether or not they should go to matches, whether or not they should want City to win, where they should meet etc, why dont you set up your own supporters group? I wish you the best of luck. You will need it. Oh, and you would have to use your real names. Oh dear.
Now that would be a grand idea! What would they call this new group? Answer on a postcard to.....
9. Smudger I think you are untilted to ask those questions. It''s  free speech and the right to protest that this country and many others stand for and even fought for. Not sure I agree with your senitiments about them selling up, since I still think they are Norwich fans at heart and it must hurt them emotionally and in the pocket right now as well. Anyone thought of digging up Robert Walpole! He was super rich and from Norfolk. Maybe he would buy the club!
10. If our off field investments are making money then that has to be welcome surely. One could argue that if that profit is only ten pounds a year, then they are not worth doing though! At the end of the day the only way this club makes serious money is by getting and staying in the Prem for two years or more. All other field activities that produce profit income are welcome, but small compared to the riches from Sky etc. We need to invest in these other ventures, but not at the expense of the team is my opinion.
11.

I agree. We all knew it would be a hard start. Think we will get 10 points from next 4 games, Jimmy Smith we be back and we will have a Man U player on loan. Things will look OK again.
oh yeah if we get 10points from the next 4 games I will bare my ass and eat my cheesy pants in the centre circle at Carrow Road.... NO CHANCE!!!!
Now that''s one way of getting people to boycott matches Smudger. Feeling quite ill at the very thought of that!
12. I agree with some of your points, but here are my opinions. 1 - We are not a massive club and never will be in this country or be a marketing mans dreams. Then again Chelsea were not a massive club until huge investment of late. They were always smaller than Spurs and Gunners in London with support. 2 - We are isolated and that is an advantage for us. We have about I guess 1 million potential fans. No club within 50 miles to challange us. 3 - Road and rail links are poor and don''t I know it living away from the fair county. Still that may put some professionals coming here, then again the quality of life is great in Norfolk IMHO. 4 - On attendences over the last seven years we are a very big club in this league. We still take a very large following away which for those travelling from Norfolk always amazes me. To sum up we are a club with potential to be in the Prem. Whether thats an investors dream is a point that can be argued. However let''s not knock our potential. OTBC
13. Both would have been welcome here for sure. Guess it comes down to money in the end! Although with Grants contacts there I would have thought we could have got one of them in at least. Oh well..
14. Still believe we can get loans in? If the board back Grant, then they have to show that support now with loans if that''s possible to strengthen his and the teams position. If they do not support him, then they best decide to sack him and get someone in they do want. I am not one for panicking and believe that Grant  probabley deserves longer, but having not seen a game this year I am not best to judge on the team. If the board and the players have lost faith, or shall we say important players have lost faith, then maybe there is a need for some reflection and change.
15. An excellant and interesting post. It is time for the board to make some harsh decisions and if they believe in Grant, then back him. If not then best cut our losses now and move on. Yes the board could resign, but that would need someone to take their place and I have not heard of any whisper''s of Russian billionaires being seen in Morrison''s car park of late!
16. I thought we would lose. Although gutted to lose by two pens. Was not there, but disappointed we go away from home looking for 0-0 when it seems we do not have the players to play that way right now. Still sure Charlton will be in the top six. Lets see how Wolves turns out, but someone has to kick start our season soon, or else we are going to be very mid-table and with the crowds we get we should be looking to move on from that position now. Not sure who''s fault it is yet. Time may clear that up for me!
17. I can understand the logic in looking for draw away from home etc. However I always favour the old 4-4-2 and trying for the win with two strikers on the pitch myself. The threat of an attack, can be a good defence for me! That way at least we have a chance when the ball is in their half and with three points a win we only need one decent result in three away from home to achieve the same with three hard fought defensive performances. Naive maybe, not a professional coach. However the odds seem about as likely as us getting three away draws on the trot!
18. After today''s result we are going to win the league by January... Stll on a slightly more serious note, it''s just great to beat Palace one of my least favourite teams and I tend to agree with you Indy that one results either way does not consitute success or failure. Seems to me that Grant is still in the building process on a very limit budget, so for now I think consistent results will be hard to come by. Then again in this league I think most of the sides are very evenly matched. We need to build back up fortress Carrow Road and hope that we can get hard won draws away from home with the odd sneaky win. For me anything above tenth this season would be progress. Cup half full here tonight,
19.
why blame anyone? .. the truth is we are where we are because we aint good enough, that fact is shared with most of the championship clubs, its the way of the world as they say, i hope and pray we do well and go up but my head tells me we will b lucky to see that again for a few years,.. just have to wait for it to go full circle again.
There is a lot of truth in that statement alas. Although I would say as a club we squandered the parachute payments and did not really make a real go of it when we first came down. Hindsight being a wonderful thing of course! As for now, well I guess we are building with better scouting networks, academy and free transfers for now. It can be done, but that route is never easy! Still would you want to support any other team!
20. I see we are not signing him right now because he is not match fit, but are interested in having another look with an extended trail in a few weeks time. If he would enchance the team in the long term, then why not sign him up? Either he is good enough or not surely. Why hang around to let other clubs get involved. I have not seen this guy play, so can not comment on that, but appears to me we need central defenders desperately and his pedigree seems good for our current league. Sometimes we need to take a chance and this might be one of them!
21. I think that hits the nail on head Biggleyellow. With fans like Smudger we would not exist!
22. I would also like to know what the agenda is with you Truthseeker. Maybe I missed your own personal gripes against NCISA. Again I am not a member of that association, or now any other members. So please either put up or shut up!
23.   Norwich always use to have decent numbers at home and I suspect many people on here remember the crowd gathering near the bridge after games down Riverside road and maybe were even part of it! Seen a few away and some home fans take an early bath in the Wensum.  My own experiences are from 83-86 when I was teenager and believe it or not it was quite the norm to at least have the pretence of standing around and looking tough! I have been chased on many occasions and done my fair share of chasing at times with the crowd. Surrounded by Chelsea fans on the Riverside Bridge and knocked on my backside by a Portsmouth fan in the 85-86 encounters, which was a very long day. Also seem to remember Birmingham last game at home, which must have been in 86 season being an interesting day. Obviously Ipswich at home during the 85 semi-final rolling fight between the Bell and the pub near the EEN building going on for what seemed like for ever, plus a few very long afternoons down Portman road. Do I regret that period in my life. Well on reflection not really. It was part of growing up for me. Fortunately apart from a few bruises to the ego, I was pretty much unharmed and never did great harm to others. Am I glad it does not take place in the same numbers as in the ‘bad’ old days and that football is now a game where the family can attend? Well yes I am, but we all live and learn hopefully.
24. Sharpe looked very good tonight on the History Channel. Cut through them Frenchies yet again. A strange lookalike for Sean Bean though.
