  1. How about making a move for jermaine Wright, out of contract.Could also try Tommy Miller and Marcus Bent, although Bent has know played for several clubs and could unsettle a happy ship. On another note not that disapointed about missing out on scimeca, just proves 1 thing-he likes to play for clubs relegated from the premier league, forest, leicester and baggies(2005) On the ball City
  2. The question you have to ask is why both Wolves and Sunderland both felt he wasen''t good enough for their 1st team.I remember a few years ago signing a player on loan, the guy could not stop scoring and we signed him for £200,000.After we signed him he became one of the worst players in a city shirt,David Neilsen ring any bells.
  3. I hope Flem wins it,not taking anything away from Hucks or Greeno but both have been rewarded for their efforts this season.Hucks got PFA player of the season and Green got picked for both England and PFA 1st division team of the year. My vote went to Fleming. There''s only 1 IWAN ROBERTS
  4. Some good choices there DD. I''ve got this feeling that worthy won''t sign a keeper,I know lewis is too young to play premiership football but i think if greeno gets injured then he''ll look at the loan market. As i think Neil Adams mention its gonna be hard to get a keeper in when he knows he''ll be 2nd choice. When we signed Chriton we had only just lost Marshall and Green was still inexperienced. So i think Lewis will play for the reserves to get practice in and be sub. Remember if your good enough your old enough. Think i mentioned Griffen,Huth-maybe years loan,kenton-don''t think Worthy will have him back,Purse-not played that many games for Brum but i think there Charlton are after him,Riggot-can''t c Boro selling him. What about Dean Richards from spurs-out of picture at moment and was once worth 8m I''m a big fan of Hayden mullins-still young and can play at rb,cb and in midfield.People have mentioned dawson from Forest but would prefer Tom Huddlestone from Derby, but don''t think he''d join us. i''ve said before that jimmy Bullard from Wigan might be a good signing, probably too much like Holt but is not scared to shoot from distance. Now that Iwan has left i think Crouch will join and take the number 9 shirt. On The Ball City
  5. This was taken from skysports website in Janurary 04 The sale of Griffin would come as more of a surprise, despite him slipping behind Aaron Hughes in the St James'' Park pecking order. The former Stoke City man''s departure would leave Newcastle somewhat thin on the full back front, but it could prove to be a shrewd move as his contract is due to expire in the summer. Think he would provide great cover at right back
  6. Andy Griffin-rb from Newcastle Julian grey-lw from Palace Both are available on free''s this summer. Both players are about 25 years old and i think would be good additions to the squad. What doe''s everyone else think. On The Ball City
  7. How many people mentioned Darren Huckerby''s name as a potential signing in the summer.I remember Taylor,Hulse,Connolly,Shipperley and others but i can''t remember anyone saying lets go and Sign that Darren Huckerby from Man City til he came to Carrow Road on Loan.
  8. It''s amazing how people''s opion has changed over the last few seasons. There''s people on the message board saying i''ll trust worthy with bring quality players to the club.I''ll be the first to say all his signings apart from the loans of Elvis and Harper have been brillant. However he also brought players such as Heckingbottom, briggs,Easton,Neilsen,Emblem,Libbra,Rivers and Abbey to the club. I hope i''m proved wrong but i can''t help but feel that out of the 4m he might spend in the summer 1 or 2 are gonna be duds. On The Ball City
  9. The 34m is not based on 1 season. The club gets 20m from tv money this year and are assured of at least three live Sky Sports games and another on Sky’s Premiership Plus — netting another £2m. Plus if they get relegated the club will land £6m-a-year in parachute payments for the following two seasons. On The Ball City
  10. Forest turned down 5m from spurs for reid and Dawson is wanted by liverpool and Newcastle and Aston Villa. One player who be worth it is Wes Morgan, believe he plays cb and has had a better season then Dawson. On The Ball City
  11. Yeah,We have only mention sensible players such as Riggot,Dawson,Reid,Butt,Sutton,Koumas,Bergkamp,Wright-Phillips,Speed,Carrick,Mills,Izzet,Kanu,Cole and Ehiogu to name just a few on this message board. On The Ball City
  12. Its the big talking point between me and my friends,Should Norwich give Iwan a years contract or not. I don''t think we should offer him just a playing contract, maybe player/coach or even player/youth team manager but if he only wanted to continue playing i would let him go. I remember reading he wanted to end his playing days in wales and by joining the coaching team at city it would be the first step in ending his playing days,so i think this is his last few games in a city shirt. On The Ball City
  13. I think Pennant would be a great signing, years loan with option of signing if we stay up. The big problem comes from other teams wanting to sign him.If Leeds stay up(don''t think they will though) he might join them,Charlton and Middlesbrough are also intrested and have cash to spend. I''d like city to sigh Hayden Mullins from West Ham,can play in defence or midfield and is still young,The hammers have a debt of 43m so might get him on the cheap. Very impressed with Jimmy Bullard from wigan when he palyed against city and might be a good addition to the squad after losing Sinclair On The Ball City
  14. I think out of the above mentioned that Brown might do a job. However he is similar in play to Holt and Francis. One player i might be tempted with is Dean Richards, only about 28 and has years of experience in the prem. The last season hasen''t been his best but im sure a fresh start would do him good.I rate Richards more then Unsworth From Everton, which a few people have mentioned. If Pompey fall out of the prem, maybe we should go for Primus and Berger What doe''s everyone else think? One the ball city
  15. Just wanted to know what other people thought of Crook returning to Norwich to manage the youth team.Don''t think City have replaced Boothryod yet and a partnership of crook and Iwan Roberts be worth something to look at. On the ball city
