This is the best Macron story today.

Exclusive: Royals recruited to help fight post-Brexit rivalry with Emmanuel Macron

You can just see Her Maj fronting a trade stall promoting green energy.

"Hellaire, would one like to purchase one of one's wind turbines, my son says they're onederful".

I love the link, we used to complain they came over here stealing our jobs, and now we are complaining they are staying in their own country and stealing our investments, them foreigners can't do anything right in our eyes.

Julie Birchall is in the news today. 😀

One hell of a grovelling apology.

On 13 December 2020 I made defamatory statements about , which I sincerely regret and retract and have undertaken not to repeat. I have agreed to pay substantial damages to Ash Sarkar and her legal costs. Here is my full and wholehearted apology. Please retweet

  3. Good evening Eddie and all. Thanks for all the suggestions, it is a great bunch of offerings, so much so, that if ok with Eddie, I have sent £20 to do 3 accumulators.

The first is for Saturday and all are home wins.

    Wolfsburg vs Shalke

    Bromley vs Barnet

Queen of the South vs Alloa

    Lincoln vs Rochdale

    Linfield vs Carrick Rangers

    Salzburg vs Admira

    Sunday/Monday and all home wins

    Bayer Leverkusen vs Arminia Bielefeld

    Leicester vs Sheffield United

    Sunderland vs Tranmere

    Fenerbache vs Genclerbirligi

    PSG vs Nantes

    Barcelona vs Huesca

As a few have suggested away wins, I thought we could have a bash. I apologise in advance to Pockthorpe for not going with his away bet, I found it a bit too scary!

    All away wins

    Werder Bremen vs Bayern Munich

    Kings Lynn vs Sutton

Fulham vs Manchester City (my choice)

    Getafe vs Athletico Madrid

    Pec Zwolle vs Ajax

    Bnei Yehuda vs Maccabi Haifa.

For the Norwich bet I would suggest BTTS - No

Lets hope this keeps us interested for the whole weekend.

  4. The Royal family are at the head of the class system, and unless they go, nothing will change. They own huge amounts of land as do other Dukes, Earls etc, and land ownership makes them all powerful.

It amuses me that so many people voted for Brexit because they objected to having unelected foreigners having power over this country and yet much of this applies to the Royal family.

Cheers. I didn't get given a 2nd appointment, just told I'd get contacted nearer the time. There is speculation that the Pfizer 2nd jabs may be brought forward anyway so I get why it would be pointless giving me a date just yet.

Just slightly concerned I'd show up for jab 2 and they'd be all "oh we're doing AZ today" but I'm sure this has already been thought about.

If not, I'll give my mate a ring as he's got some Pfizer at his GP 😆

Tbh I'm just glad I'll be done by May by the time anything indoors that is worthwhile is back I can live with the lower risk outdoor stuff until then.

I used this link to book my second jab https://www.nhs.uk/book-a-coronavirus-vaccination/do-you-have-an-nhs-number

It seems to work for most people. You need your National Health number. If you are 56 and over and you haven’t had your first jab, you can also book through this link. I had my first jab on 2 February and I have the next on 20 April and it’s Oxford/Astra.
    Hope this helps.

This picture has appeared in various outlets of the Tory propaganda machine Sunday papers today.

Going to have to get into work super early tomorrow to install all these imaginary dividers, perspex screens and "knee-operated sinks" that are apparently all going to be delivered and installed by 8:25 tomorrow morning....

Presumably all of this will be funded by flogging our smartboards and replacing them with blackboards.

Good job my classes of 30/31/32 are apparently to be reduced to 9 who will all have laptops though.

This isn't an accident, this is actual Goebbels level, state sponsored propaganda. Do people really believe this ****? If you replaced the students with unicorns it would be VERY marginally less realistic.

    Probably more like this.

Why are positive lateral flow tests on school pupils not being followed up with a confirmatory PCR, I cant follow the logic here, surely we want pupils and all involved to have the highest possible confidence in their test results.

If we are concerned about school test results, perhaps we could bring in Gavin Williamson, he has great experience in this field.

The EU have started a trade war with us, so no apologies from me for our impending retaliation.  😎

They have a lot more to lose..... 🤗

Is that a re hash of 'They need us, more than we need them', because that does not seem to be going well.

Really irritates me no end to see this seemingly "its all in the mind" attitude of Germany in general towards the AZ vaccine, when here at home i cannot still get a 1st jab even thou im in the over 65 age group, with our situation seeing a huge take up of the vaccine. Just dont understand the mentality of the German populace, when science has stated over and over  how pretty good the AZ vaccine is.

This might help, it's open to all 60 and over. A couple of friends booked it today.
