1.
In answer to the academy question KK we''ve brought far more through in the last 5 - 6 years than we did the in the 5 - 6 years before that - Chris Martin, Korey Smith and Declan Rudd are probably the pick of the bunch.

By the way - have Ipswich paid their debt to St. John''s Ambulance yet? How does it feel to support a team who actually failed to pay the St. John''s Ambulance? Does it make you feel good?
Btw, how are your finances? Heard your in for abit of a shock when the books are announced!

  2.
What top teams? Do you know nothing about this league?

QPR and Cardiff, are the only two teams, who possibly are way above the rest, but every other team (bar a couple of really poor ones) are fairly equal, why did Blackpool get promoted, and not you? for the last few seasons, at least one team, who was not fancied has gotten into the play-offs, quite a few (like Blackpool) have gained promotion, You really know nothing, we are in 6th, we just came up from League One, with a LEAGUE ONE TEAM, yet we are above 18 other teams in this league, including pre-season faves Middlesborough, get that into you tiny little brian, and go talk about YOUR team on your forums...
Yer ok...if thats what you think...Games against Cardiff, QPR, Middlesbrough, Pompey, Leeds, Reading & Burnley to come...teams who are likely to be in the play-off mix...Frankly the league is so tight...that your current 6th position could easily slide right down into the relegation mix-up....and you admited yourself, League one squad...a couple of back to back defeats and who knows how they react!

  3. Yes Hux was legendry...Like the players that won us the Uefa cup/Fa Cup....If you ever see players that good then you will know...Scotland will score goals, thats pretty obvious...2 in 5 is a good return...he will get better..and should have few problems with 15+ this season...Point today a good result for us and im happy with that...Didn''t play well at all in an away game...and still managed to take a point...so can''t complain...On the other hand, we could hand a side who haven''t won in 27 away games their 1st win...But seriously, whats wrong with Martin? A clinical finisher with 1 goal in 8? Is he just not that good?

  4. How come you weren''t watching Norwich in the cup tonight?? oh....Our wafer thin squad comes up with the goods again...

If Someone comes up with stupid money for a player then i dare say they might go...i would assume that would be pretty much the case for the majority of sides in this divison...Although if still in and around the top 6 come january, no one would be leaving...Wickham will go end of season, what would he gain leaving in January to sit in the reserves of a prem side? You forgot one quoteClegg "Evans will make money available in january"Perhaps if you take those green tinted specs off you might get an accuarte picture of the situation...

  5. Sh!ty1st talking crap as usuall...There will be no sales in January...Keane has never conceded that...in fact, Clegg has already said that there will be money to spend in January...The loan system can work very well, check what Blackpool did last season....and our waffer thin squad aint doing to badly tonight is it? 8 changes from the side that started Saturday...For what it''s worth my prediction:QPRCardiffIpswichForestMiddlesbroughBurnleyIf Norwich stay clear of injurys then they might well be in and around the play-offs...Although it''s far to early to tell...

  6. Watford started the season as they did last season...I guess that because they beat Millwall away they must now be almost certain for promotion...I know you were probably not quite so with the Championship last season, but this Watford side is certainly not as good as the one last season...and whilst they may not go down, there is not a chance of them being in the top 6...Making assumptions like this on 7 games is frankly stupid...

  7. Watford aint a flash in the pan? They started last season pretty much the same as this season only to be dragged into the relegation mix right at the end...I would be pretty certain that over the course of the season that Watford will finish towards the bottom...I think that both of those games are tricky. Hull aint a bad side and are at least difficult side to beat...Leicester''s recent performances have actually been better than their results suggest....Both games will be tricky...The league is in it''s early stages and you really can''t tell how good anyone will be at this stage...

  8. I can''t believe that this is even up for debate...

If your guy is anywhere near as good as Wickham he must be one hell of a player...

As for the references to Bowditch, you can''t compare the two. Wickham is a far more complete player than Bowditch who was just very good on the ball although very lightweight.

Wickham isn''t a finisher yet, but im sure with time he certainly will be...But he has all the other attributes needed...and there is no chance he will be sold in january, despite what sh!ty1st might think...

You can''t compare him to Martin as Wickham has not played at a lower level...Martin managed 17 goals in 42 League one games for a side who was top of the league at the time...He will certainly be tested far more this season and his return of 1 goal from 7 games suggests he''s not finding it quite so easy...

Whilst it''s still early in Wickhams development, the fact that he''s causing so many problems for defence''s at such an early age can only be encouraging...

  9. Binner coming to join reasoned debate..

The thing is with Norwich (Just like Ipswich) is the fans remember the glory days…of what happened ten years back etc…The reality is like, Like Ipswich, Norwich will probably fall short of the play-offs…

There is the same talk about what Blackpool did last season on our boards as well…But you need a lot of luck with your signings and to be excellent in the loan market…Holloway was superb with this last season…Adam was a bargain at 500k and his loan signings (Campbell and Coleman to name 2) were superb…

Having said that, the league is very open this season. Only the teams who invested heavily are likely to "run away" with it….QPR were superb last night and Cardiff you would have to expect to be there as well (although a lot of that depends on Bellamy staying fit) and I''d expect Middlesbrough to certainly get going eventually...But it''s a very competitive division which will be decided by small margins…

I cant believe how disappointed you lot are about losing to Doncaster. They are a very good team and will certainly be in and around the play-offs…Norwich have no divine right to be beating sides like that...

  10. Suuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - He has it in the bag...

Title favs beaten (In their own backyard) - Boro will be up there come end of the season, as will Burnley. Bristol City - well fancied, played off the park...and Palace....Oh, and still in League Cup..

As apposed to Watford & Scunthorpe - Relegation candidates...Swansea (Who you were outplayed by for long periods) mid-table and Forest (who haven''t exactly lived up to their expectations...) By my calculations, a serious promotion candidate would pick up 9 points + from that lot...

For a side that was relegation contenders in many delusional sh!ty fans eyes, i think thats pretty good going when considering the injurys we have had to key players...
