1. Pitch is being relayed. I’m not really sure what the rest of that babble actually meant? We’ve also provided more minutes to under 21 players than every other club in the division last season other than Forest I believe it was? The academy is producing players again with a number of players playing in England youth teams. So it’s fair to say the academy is churning out players. The players you’ve listed aren’t really worth a lot in reality are they? If you want me to list a load of players worth a few million each I’m fairly certain I can. Waghorn alone has to be worth more than that lot combined?
 2. There is no problems that run anywhere. We just don’t have a big budget, much like yourselves and a fair few other clubs in this division.
 3. No meltdown here fella! Hurst is all but done by all accounts. Excellent appointment.
 4. Let’s see how much your squads worth once Maddison has gone. There’s not a lot else is there in all honesty? I’m not denying that in the last 9-10 years you’ve had the more success. But there’s no doubting which side has a proper history. Your ‘legends’ game the other day proves as much!
 5.

Paupers? Love it! Happy days selling your prized assets this summer and replacing them with cheap Germans! Worked miracles last season. It was always Hurst or Ross for us. It appears that we never actually offered Ross the job and Hurst was always the number one target. Suspect he’ll be appointed next week. By all accounts, will be an excellent appointment!
Yes, all those millions will really hurt us.Perhaps a couple of those ''replacements'' might be Gordon and Morris who have played a pivotal role in Hurst''s success this seasonWhat say you, ITFCBlues ?ps if you paupers are quick you might be able to get some of our used pitch to patch up your tatty playing surface.... any idea when Evans is going to spend to get it fixed ?
Na, all those millions will just about keep your head above water for another season.....
 6.
"Cheap Germans? Tom Trybull or Cole (in the hole) Skuse anybody? Young Zimmerframe or Old Mr. Fistpump anybody? Mario Vrancic or Teddy "the crock" Bishop anybody? Talking of cheap, three of the current ITFC players, Huws, the City cast off Tom Adeyemi and Webster were actually signed on the cheap because of their previous poor fitness records. Then the fans bemoan their misfortune with injuries. Add to this the few over-rated and delicate youngsters who were prematurely forced to replace them, were far from upto it and therefore ended up in the sick room too, and it is clear that whoever replaces McCarthy will have a monumental job on his hands maintaining the club''s un-enviable longevity in the Championship. No wonder the bookies have the paupers amongst the favourites for relegation. Btw, is it true that Bill Oddie has been spotted hiding in the foliage on the roof of the SBR stand in order to get in some bird watching?
Exactly. All those injured players..... All these poor youngsters..... Last season we were favourites for relegation..... And yet we STILL finished above your concoction of cheap German cast offs.... Times are changing, next season you’ll be even weaker after the next fire sale....get used to it!

 8.
Let all of this financial chat not distract from the fact that in the last 8 seasons we''ve had 2 promotions (including a win at Wembley), an unbeaten record against Ipswich including the playoff semi final win and until this season, continued dominance over them in terms of league position. They''ve had mid table mediocrity in that time where until this season, their best they could cling to was a short lived playoff campaign and memories of things that happened 40 years ago. Let them celebrate another mid table finish where they scrape ahead of us on the last day. It''s a measure of just how poor they are.
Ahhhh yes, our history doesn’t count of course. Let’s just look at today - despite being crippled by injuries, we STILL finished above you last season. What does that say about where you currently are with the next firesale on the horizon?
 9.

But that’s really just not the case is it? Where has this 10m extra come from?
Let''s make it simple for you...Way back in 2010-11 (our last season before we received Prem money), our income was £23.1m. Obviously during the Prem seasons ticket prices increased, the Championship TV money has increased and general inflation means our turnover for this season is likely to be around £30m.Now, let''s compare that with YOUR latest set of accounts. Your total income was £17m so £13m less than ours and we don''t have to pay rent on our ground or training ground. It is no secret we still have to reduce our wage bill thanks to our success in reaching the Premier League but we have players we can sell which will cover the deficit if need be.At the end of the day, we are still a self sufficient club and can be successful without needing to hold out the begging bowl to anybody.Don''t forget, we were promoted in 2010/11 without parachute payments and we can do so again.
Ahhhh so you’re making up figures based on assumptions rather than any facts. I think I’ll just listen to what your lock press are suggesting is the situation rather than completely made up figures. Let’s see, I suspect there will be no reason to sell Maddison and he will still be at the club next season seeing how crucial he was to you this season. Surely there’s no chance you’ll sell him?
 10.

Well, it would appear that your extra income is already accounted for & that this still doesn’t cover the short fall that needs to be bridged this summer.
We are all aware that parachute payments have ceased and we still have players on high wages thanks to two promotions to the Premier League. However, work is underway to move those players on and replace them with players who are more affordable and within the new budget. This doesn''t mean we will be stocking up with just loans and freebies however, I still expect some of the new signings will command transfer fees (like Hanley for example £3.5m). When did you last spend £1m on a player?
Where exactly will you be getting 3-4m from without selling anyone when your wage bill is already higher than you can afford?
I''ve already explained the wage bill is being sorted and we have several players worth a few £m if we need to sell. Don''t forget, we start off with at least £10m more than you (£16m if we don''t include Marcus''s contribution). Now, when did your lot last spend £1m on a player?
But that’s really just not the case is it? Where has this 10m extra come from? How’s the wage bill sorted when all your local press seem to think there is a 15-18m gap that needs plugging?

 12.

As I was saying, you’re skint. Need to plug that big gapping hole in your finances....
I''ve replied to you on two previous threads but you choose to ignore me so let''s try again......

our owner covers the short fall each season. You lot just need to hope that every year you have someone of value to sell as your owner doesn’t have the money to do that.
You are still assuming we will, like you, have a shortfall every season. We might, but the likelihood is our income, without parachute payments, could well be close to double yours.
I''ve already explained that to him on the "Mind the gap" thread Purps........

you’ll probably need another 5-6m every summer just to stay afloat/have any sort of competitive budget. Where’s that coming from? A firesale every summer perhaps?
Our turnover without parachute payments will be c. £30m compared with your £16m. Plus there''s no rent to pay for the ground or training ground. With Evans money your total income is around £20m which means we have an extra £10m advantage over you.
He didn''t reply then so I don''t suppose he''ll come back this time either. It seems he prefers TWTD myths rather than PinkUn facts. [:)]
Let''s try once more to see if you comment rather than repeating the same nonsense and then run away.
Well, it would appear that your extra income is already accounted for & that this still doesn’t cover the short fall that needs to be bridged this summer.
 13.
"Well, according to Michael Bailey, you need to raise 15-18m..."and according to me we don''thowever feel free to demonstrate why we will need to raise that amount........our projecting income against our projecting outgoings will do
As I was saying, you’re skint. 14.
What sort of prick comes on another teams forum to brag about finishing the higher of the mid table, nothing to play for teams on goal difference? I know it’s been shit for Ipswich of late and yet again they still haven’t beaten us, but really!? You can have your above us on goal difference fella. I take far more joy in our grasping your victory away in the most hilarious and satisfying of ways. “Oh no, how awful, when will Ipswich town ever beat them” 🤫🤫🤫
No ones doing any bragging. It’s more that you still think you’re something your not! Your Prem money is long gone and next season will certainly be interesting for you lot, especially without maddison
 15.
''Not really. Just a sign of things to come in all honesty isn’t it? Finishing above a massive club like Norwich when we’ve had the injuries we’ve had shows just how bad you really must be? We had 15 players injured at Reading last week. We’ve shown the last few weeks there is a lot of good players coming through our academy and played some good football. We’re in a fairly stable position - something of which can’t be levelled your way. You’ve got NO money. You’re main saleable asset is injured. What happens now? You need to raise 15-18m from somewhere? A firesale of some kind is in store. I’m sure there’s will be some cheap Germans coming in to fill the gaps.... you’ve just celebrated a player who referred to your club as a sh!thouse, a club legend. You can only dream of a star on your shirt...''King binno, stop being an idiot - if that is possible coming from Suffolk.NCFC is solvent - with bigger crowds and more ST holders. More than your grubby little club has had for years, or will for a fair few years ahead. We do NOT need to find £15.8m, that is just your pig farming ignorance making things up.We have re-adjusted to a massive drop in our income £32m. Which is around twice what your failing club earns in a year. Perhaps you could remind us what you thieves did when in the same position. Yep, that''s it cheated local businesses and defrauded the Inland Revenue. You wonderful academy has not produced a single keeper to reach your first team in around 13 years. Evans, who you halfwits delude yourself is ''pumping in money'' made off with the money from the CAT 1 sponsorship, and has done with transfer fees and your training ground.Patching up your team with callow youths is not a sign of a decent academy, but one of a club running on empty that cannot even pay for a decent pitch. Check who is spending money on their pitch this summer, and who cannot even afford to remove a tree growing on it''s stadium roof. One club clinging to the past, and one club embracing the future.RIPswich.ps the paupers will lose four loanees this summer along with four other players and as it stands ALL THREE keepersI wonder if they will stick with ''mad'' mick''s plan -- buy injury prone crocks as they are cheap and so also give their dimwitted fans something else to whine about
Well, according to Michael Bailey, you need to raise 15-18m....
 16.
Yesssss, let''s see how much more Waghorn achieves in a transfer fee, as opposed to Madders.....
Didn’t say he’d command the same fee. Just pointing out, he’s worth a decent amount. Who knows what Maddison is worth if he’s got a serious injury...
 17.
As opposed to having: - No players worth selling - 90m circa debt - No ground (Well not one you own anyway) - Naff all fans. You talk about Evans unlike Delia being able to put £6 million in a year. Delia doesnt have too because we make more than the extra £6 million from our attendances and other off field income streams. Also, id much rather have players worth millions of pounds touted with moves than players who no one wants and have no asset value to you as a club.
No one to sell. Waghorn isn’t worth anything then? Most combined goals/assists in the league. More than the much hailed Maddison. Bart who was linked with a 5m move to the Prem in January. The numerous England youth internationals we have, worth nothing? As I keep pointing out, Maddison aside whose now crippled, you’ve not got a lot else of any value. Perhaps Klose? You can reel off a few others, but the likes of Oliviera ain’t worth a lot! You’re clearly skint and these extra revenue streams can’t pay to run your academy?
 18.
Ipswich finished above us. Regardless of whether it''s just goal difference,so for this season they can enjoy it. I would expect us to be better next season. I''d be surprised if we get promoted but it should be closer to top six atleast but ipswich have over achieved this season. Next season they seem to be determined to follow our lead and go for "something different". To build from the back with a new passing style..to look for youth and young players according to M.E. but unless they get lucky with a great appointment they will struggle to adapt as we have this season.
When you’ve sold your best players, you’ll be a million miles off the top 6. You’ll have a smaller budget than this season. There is absolutely no evidence in anything you’ve done in recent weeks to suggest there is anything at all to be positive about next season as today has highlighted
 19.
For all sorts of obvious reasons a speedy appointment would have seemed to be necessary, but this farce is dragging on and on. It can only be assumed that Evans has a lower league manager who is already in a job lined up and that he is waiting for the season''s outcome to unfold before revealing his man. The Shrewsbury manager is the latest favourite with the bookies so perhaps this is the case, but apparently Evans is still interviewing. There have been so many rumours and "def. info" situations that it seems that every Tom, Dick and Harry connected with the world of football has come into the running. Even Arsene Wenger, believe? Such is their history that the binners seem to think that all sorts of worthy candidates will up sticks and willingly accept the position on offer at their decaying shite heap. The truth is that it is a "job from hell," that involves inheriting an average squad, little funding and a whiff of Championship mediocrity about it, let alone the hint of a relegation. Evans/the binmen might well find that the luxury of decent choice diminishes with the delay and that they could be forced to accept a candidate low on their wish list. It has, though, been a welcome distraction from the rather ordinary season''s ending on show for us City fans.
Have you just described your mess of a club? Clobbered again today. Needing to sell your best players just to survive...
 20.
Encouraged by his recent success, apparently, Marcus Evans has already booked his next public appearance. He has a slot on Gardener''s question time in order to seek advice from the professionals as to how to deal with the foliage growing from the roofs of the Portman Road stands. It''s been an early Christmas period for the binners. McCarthy sacked, season ticket sales reaching an astounding 12, 000 and finally finishing above their superior rivals, for the first time in over eight seasons, on goal difference. Still amongst the favourites for relegation next season I note.
Superior rivals who have NEVER won ANYTHING.
 21.
HAHAHA Oh dear. We''ve also had key injuries, like every other football team in the country. You have no ground, no money, an (arms-dealing ticket tout) owner who is using you as a tax break, no manager. We have significantly more money than you, even just by ticket sales if nothing else, and we have plenty of saleable assets. We have slashed our wage bill so I don''t think we''re in much danger of a firesale, but there will inevitably be some departures (surprisingly, other clubs actually want our players unlike your bunch of mercenary no-marks). So in addition to no money, you also have NO saleable assets.Hoolahan may or may not have said that, and if he did, so what? Never been frustrated with your employer? He still gave us 10 years and is significantly better than any player you''ve had in the last 20. Your much loved keeper (who by the way, really isn''t that good - I''m Polish and it was embarrassing to see him in the national team - he was awful and the fans told him so very clearly) agreed a new contract but is refusing to sign it so not seeing your upper hand on that one either I''m afraid.Even when we''re sh1t like this season, you STILL can''t beat us. Never mind, only 3,304 days since you last tasted that joy.
We’ve been decimated by injuries all season. Your situation just isn’t comparable. We’ve STILL finished above you. Says a lot about where you’re at. Some of you were predicting winning the league this season! By all accounts you need to raise cash by selling players. There’s very little else to sell? Perhaps Klose? Not sure what else there is. The well is dry. Don’t worry about our money situation. We’ve an owner putting money into the club. Yours is skint it would appear. If you did have money you wouldn’t be begging your fans for money to keep your academy afloat. Embarrassing. Who honestly cares what the Poland fans think of Bart. He’s just made the fans Championship team of the year so he’s onviously doing something right. He probably will be sold to a Premiership club. But we don’t need to sell to survive.
 22.
Are crowing on TWTD. They finished above us on goal difference, but it is obvious that we''re going down next season but they''ll be pushing for playoffs under Burley.I hate to generalise but they really are a dimwitted bunch aren''t they? Our worst season in 10 years near enough and they scraped finishing above us by goal difference on the last day of the season and are revelling in it like they''ve won the cup.Got to be worth another star on the shirt surely? It''s almost like they''ve had 20 years of mediocrity except one season where we put them to the sword before going up via Wembley.
Not really. I’m sure there’s will be some cheap Germans coming in to fill the gaps.... you’ve just celebrated a player who referred to your club as a sh!thouse, a club legend. You can only dream of a star on your shirt...
 23.
Well you clearly wouldn''t understand as you''ve not had any players in the last decade good enough to actually celebrate.
You’re best EVER player? Statue? That’s a pretty grim existence as participants...
 24. Isn’t this rather rich considering your club celebrates a Jeremy Goss goal against Bayern Munich as one of its finest ever achievements? Not to mention the hysteria this week celebrating one of your best ever players in Hoolahan (sh!thouse club) who joins Huckerby and Roberts on the list of club legends with talk of statues being built? Lauaghable!
 25.
"It’s been widely documented that you will NEED to sell again this year. You’ll also be funding Cat 1 academy. The money will need to come from somewhere. After Maddison, there is no one of any real value worth selling is there? You may churn a few off but it’s debatable as to how much you’d get for them & we could also churn off a few that may also be worth something in today’s market. Waghorn of course has scored more goals/assists than Maddison has this season so you’d think he’s worth a few quid in today’s market?"Or unlike you incompetent thieves NCFC is run so as to meet it''s budgets and pay it''s way. There is no "widely documented" stuff, just Phil Ham spouting his usual bin nonsense. As to the value of any City players I would think that Murphy, Pinto, Klose, Oliveira, Hanley and Lewis could pull in around £20-£30m, if only based on their original cost. So go back to your farm yard and stop filling your silly little head with binmanish shyte.
Norwich is run to meet its budgets? Didn’t you just ask fans for 3-5m to fund your academy? It’s a slippery slope without PL money....
