  1. If there's that much of a gap in valuation then seems odd that we'd still be at the table.
  2. Well we have lost our standout best player (possibly best 2 with Skipp), so it's understandable. Not to say we won't ultimately be improved overall, but you can see why people might think we're weaker.
  3. Adshead's bound to go on leave once we get a couple more through the door surely? Probably a lot depends on injuries - if we lose a full-back, could be a big season for Mumba, likewise at CB for Omobamidele.
  4. Didn't have an issue this time, but previously have found that clearing your cache sometimes sorts out issues with buying a match pass.
  5. Yeah, he seems determined to cut back onto his (much) weaker right-foot rather than getting past his man. He's a bit frustrating to watch, but hopefully his decision-making can be improved.
  6. On trial at Orient and has scored apparently.
  7. In isolation I don't think it would be a bad deal, but in the context of losing Emi and gambling on a couple of our forward player's PL capability already, it would be a no from me.
  8. He can't be that good, he can barely get in the England team. 😉 The money required to be competitive at the bottom end of the PL table is just stupid (increasingly at Champ level too). Pretty much removes any hope of meaningful silverware from the vast majority of teams, with even the "fairy-tale story" of Leicester's title being massively bankrolled.
  9. Sorry to hear this horrible news, thoughts with his family and friends. I didn't know him personally, but it sounds like he used his time well and was liked and loved by many. Rest in peace.
  10. Also maybe worth mentioning there are a few youth games/highlights on the Norwich youtube channel, so you might be able to find a few clips of him.
  11. Vaguely remember hearing he was a full-back but converted to a striker? Sure he's scored a few goals for the youngsters.
  12. BBC of course, but hope they pick a decent comms team. There seems to be a trend for summarisers who sound a bit uninterested (Keown, Dixon, Murphy). Would like someone a bit more positive and enthusiastic.
  13. Can't imagine many will predict anything above the relegation zone for us, and probably rightly on budgets/squads. Our job is to exceed those expectations.
  14. Labour are an absolute ****show at the moment. However, you might want to look up "whataboutery".
  15. Guess it depends how much they think they can rely on Byram's fitness
  16. Don't mind the patterned bit, but it doesn't work with the sleeves and collar (IMO).
  17. I like Lolley but don't feel like he's prem quality. Davies always seems pretty pedestrian when I've seen him. Would be great to get Chair or Olise but think they might go somewhere higher up than us? Never rated Messi, no end product.
  18. Feels a bit lightweight generally, might struggle with the physical battles. Harsh to drop Hanley from the first XI. But as above, a lot depends on new signings hitting the ground running.
  19. I think this has probably been discussed to death on here at the time, but although recent history is fairly parallel and they feel like a comparable club to us, they aren't any more. They have some of the richest owners in the league and are aspiring to be a top-end team. We're aspiring to stay up.
  20. I think it wasn't technically unavoidable, but we already managed to keep him a year longer than we might have and it seems like he had his heart set on a move. Sadly it was probably the right business decision.
  21. True, but so were Godfrey and Lewis, and they got snapped up.
