Be careful what you wish for

The teams around us have much harder fixtures during this period, like the ones we have endured. We’ll see🤞 -

I think we should put Saturdays result behind us and reappraise after the following fixtures. -

What was Sargent thinking?
Block Y Seat 176 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
An interesting stat on The Athletic is that as regarding scoring percentage Sargents chance is rated at 14% whereas Pukki chance was 42%. Pukki missed the easier chance and yet the spotlight is on Josh. -

There are, even as a teenager, the point being that Vardy commits 100% to his striking of the ball. Kane and Bamford developed through the leagues and adapted and I have no doubt Sargent will as well. It’s a tough ask, but I hope he gets a tap in at Chelsea so he can move forward rather than dwell on it. -

I think if he watched a video of Vardy goals on loop for a week it might help with Power and Precision. His effort had neither. He’ll learn from it. -
Where are the goals supposed to come from?
Block Y Seat 176 replied to Petriix's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
To survive in the Premiership the Pukki/ Sergent has to provide the goals. Both missed chances yesterday but it was clear to me when Pukki had possession in the Brighton penalty area that “sixth sense” to find your partner in space was lacking. No blame here as it’s their dynamic to resolve. That can only be improved in training and game time but at least there are positives. At 85 minutes watching the game we seemed mentally any physically spent so a point against a team that was 4th in the league and didn’t score in that period, as they have done to others, is a positive. Positive atmosphere also at final whistle unlike the previous game and on Pinkun website.😬 -
Camera angle supports both points of view. For me, Kruls defensive punch on the ball was in line with its flight and his eyes on the ball, at the same time as the attackers head entered that space. Taking out the opposition at the same time was a bonus and what Burnley players were doing to us all game.

Importance Of Burnley Game Not Known Until Brighton

0-0. The reaction of the Burnley team to this was a loss. For us, it was more than just a point. -

Let’s not forget the financial package that goes with a sacking. A new manager will want his own team and players that suits his favoured style. Where’s the money coming from.? -
Idah isn't very good
Block Y Seat 176 replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I hope he avoids social media, over the years Norwich fans have crucified some young strikers. He has to commit to a shot in a PL game and follow through and trust his instincts which are honed-on the training pitch and positive results on the pitch. Which is why we should support him now when things are not right throughout the team, not kick him when he is down. -
Things to do by DF 1. Stop attacking players from crossing ball into dangerous position. 2. Address problem of attacking players at corners “ghosting into space” at far post and scoring. 🤔 3. Defenders to remain balanced and on their feet when defending. etc……etc They are all fixable, with the correct mindset of defence first.

Should We Sack Farke? (Poll)
Block Y Seat 176 replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
A lack of pre season training and international call ups for newly signed players has hindered the start of our season. Add on two international breaks during the start of the Premier season and coaches like Farke will be frustrated at the actual amount of time they have working on fitness, team building and tactics. Sacking Farke now after all he has achieved and with the knowledge of the above would be a knee jerk reaction to a temporary problem and only to appease the minority. Re appraising our situation in December, will give Farke October and November to form his team and tactics. My frustration with Farke at the moment is his mindset. He wants to win games, but we don’t have the foundations of a team to not concede first. Southampton seem to be have that defensive mindset but with an attacking threat, of which at the moment I am envious. OTBC -

“What do you have to do to get sacked at Norwich City” indicates to me that you are an independent observer of, rather than a fan of Norwich City.” Binner “ was my first thought. Apologies if you are not so afflicted. Re Farke, realistically, you have to give him at least till mid December to work with his squad. -
