I wouldn’t read to much into it. A player on the ball needs options moving forward and clearly the first half performance generally was not of a high standard compared to previous game. That’s pre season and all players should be looking over their shoulder and be wary of competition for their place. 2nd half is a positive which confirms they have ability to find a way. I agree there does seem to be some mental “man management “ going on with Todd so far the greatest example. 🤞for season ahead.

I called into the South Stand reception area yesterday and impressed with the large monochrome crest on the wall and the crisp detail of castle and canary. Would look great on a silver /grey away kit. 🤔😂

I enjoyed the show tonight, crowd were up for it, note to self. The days of standing in front of stage for hours are over. As I pen this i have a pair feet resting on packet of frozen peas and sweetcorn. Achilles playing up.

I am pleased UEFA have commissioned an independent enquiry into the fiasco in and around the stadium in Paris.

I believe one of the issues was they were prepared for arrival of fans by coach to secure area in/around Stadium. They weren’t prepared for arrival of fans on foot who’d been to fan zone 5/6 miles away and walked or got train/metro to stadium.

I was watching the pre match warm up yesterday from Upper Tier Barclay and the highlight is always a Norwich player getting the ball into the back of the net. 🫣😂. Chuckle time was watching Norwich kit man with on the edge of penalty area with back to goal performing a “wall” pass to Norwich players taking turns on a strike on goal. He had the touch of a 10 ton elephant and his “lack of precision” on the final ball into path of striker brought about “interesting results” SACK THE KITMAN”!!! I say.

The whole episode seemed contrived, a push, a punch perhaps, but a slap man on man was from the slapstick era.

I wasn’t that impressed with them when they played at Carrow Rd. I’d like to see a game plan for a spoiling draw with option of late goal for 3 pts.

All together now…..

I enjoy watching the process of team development irrespective of which league we are in. I’m also pleased for individual players who go on to further their own carers at other clubs. I also appreciate talented players from the opposition who perform at the highest level at Carrow Rd. Gareth Bale on a charge from halfway line towards the Barclay was a site to behold. That’s why I go to Carrow Rd, achieving promotion to the Prem isn’t really on my wish list, it’s a byproduct of good overall management at Carrow Rd, remember Doncaster and his take on a time frame of buying players.
