  1. Or, the old Man Utd/Cristiano Ronaldo song;Viva Pacheco,Viva Pacheco,Running down the wing,Hear the City sing,Viva Pacheco,
  2. Sorry guys but do you not read any of the posts attached to this thread, IT IS NOT HIM SO WHY CARRY ON AS IF IT IS.......????Jeeeesssss
  3. It belongs to one of the oldest swingers in town, and he works for a photocopying company who are exhibiting at the B2B show today. The closest Jamie would come to being German is his 70''s porn star style affro.....
  4. Might just be me but I can''t see what all the fuss is about with Cody.Never cemented a place when around the first team, went missing for long spells of games when he started for us in League 1, poor first touch, not the quickest.I think he has found his level so sell him whether we are Champ or Prem next season. Hardly likely to use him next season if we stay where we are as Martin and Holt will provide the first choice strike force. And he''s out of contract next year, which means we can get a fee in the summer.
  5. I personally don''t feel or see any over confidence for this weekend, a la Doncaster and Preston, just a real excitement building which I think will really help lift the team. With the arrival of Pacheco, I think the roof will lift at Carrow Road and I think there is an air of realistic confidence as opposed  to arrogantly expecting to win.We are close and getting closer, time to believe in the team to take us through..........
  6. Football has moved on in this short space of time.Players would rather stay at their clubs and pick up their fat pay cheques. No prudence where I am sitting, the club has invested well in players this year and our attempts to sign Bennett and CMS bode well if we do get promoted.I still believe the Platt offer has been made as Wilbraham''s injury is long term, just what I have heard.
  7. There has been rumblings that Wilbraham''s back injury could rule him out for the season, so this may well be a stop gap loan signing to fill this role. I think, if this happens, we can expect two strikers in as I can''t see Lambert settling for Platt when we have been looking at spending good money on CMS and Elliott Bennett.
  8. Lansbury has just posted a photo on Twitter of Zak on the coach to Hull and called him Keith Lemon.....One Keith Lemon, there''s only one Keith Lemon, one Keith Lemon
  9. The thing is guys we have no idea what the offer was/is, how it was structured, addons et al, we are all assuming. Things we do know is that Fry loves to bargain and wheel and deal and McNally and Lambert are shrewd operators. Let''s sit back and watch it unfold.
  10. Homepage reports PBoro boss Ferguson telling us to up our bid.Clearly he wants to come and they want to sell...... At a price!!!I would hope/presume this will happen by the weekend, although not the way we, the club, would deal with things, but if it gets Lambert the man he wants then, so be it.
  11. Over at talk sport Craig Mackail-Smith has told talkSPORT of his disappointment at missing out on a move to Norwich – but insists he will remain fully focused on Peterborough’s promotion push. The Canaries have had a £3million bid rejected for the Posh striker, who has struck 21 goals in League One this season. Speaking to Drive Time, Mackail-Smith admitted: “Norwich are on the verge of getting in the Premier League and for them to want me to join the team to push them over the edge is a great compliment. “But the club have said it’s not the right offer and I won’t let it affect me. I love playing football, that’s my job and I’ll keep giving 100 per cent to Peterborough until I’m told otherwise. “I’d love to play at a higher level but I can only do what the club allow me to. The bid wasn’t right for the club. When the right bid comes in and the club come to me and say they’ve accepted the offer then I’ll take it from there and see what happens. “I’ve just got to concentrate on my football, keep doing what I’m doing, and sooner or later something will come from it.” Seems like he wants this to happen, watch this space....................................
  12. Won''t be bad for us if Burnley carry on their form with their fixtures. They have to play;Leicester AwayForest AwaySwansea HomeLeeds AwayCardiff Home, last game!!!!!!If they''re taking points, this lot aren''t..................................
  13. Play for Norwich against Leicester?Celebrate the birth of Leon''s baby?
  14. I cannot understand also, never impressed me with his all round game, looked weak in comparison to Martin. I think Lambert would have assessed Cody and saw that he is not up to this division.World of difference between League 2 and Championship. Wouldn''t be surprised if he stayed there next season on a permanent.
  15. All relevant points. My fear is that Forest are acting quickly and now have I make it, 6 forwards to call on. Whilst £40k is excessive, I agree, it again shows that teams are not prepared to sit and hope players to hit or return to form.I''m not in any way a critic of PL, quite the contrary, but we need to act sooner rather than later to provide a striker who can come in and score 8-10 goals in our run in. Who is another question, can we afford it is another, but we must do it quick....
  16. ....Joins Forest on loan. How many forwards do they need?I thought he may be the type of surprise we would sign as he was with Rangers at the time our Chief Scout was.
  17. Nutty if I remember rightly the game was the featured match on Match Of The Day and there were many people sitting around the perimeter, in front of the old Main Stand.Very warm day and great game.
  18. Citing personal reasons!!!Hope he is ok, still lives local.Perhaps can come and help coach Martin, Holt and Jackson if personal situations are not too serious.Best wishes to Sutton family.
  19. God give me strength.A team is picked to win a game based on a number of key criteria the manager sees fit to judge them on. If you are not in the team, it''s because you do not shape up, simple. Where has fairness ever been a judge in professional sport or, even business. Talent, skill, attitude, commitment, ability to play the role requested, all of these attributes pick a team. They all still get paid for this, its not like your Sunday morning team where you pay your subs and give someone a game because they turned up.We are getting results because of Lambert''s selection policy and tactics. Can we put an end to this as it is tiresome, listening to the holier than thou ''It''s not fair'' brigade.......................Train better, play better, then you may get a chance.
  20. Paul Lambert is paid to make decisions on team selection, purchases et al, with the aim of winning football matches.I cannot see that by not picking a player is in any way poor treatment, he sees him everyday and is a far better judge of whether this player can do the job required for the team, clearly he does not feel that way. Results indicate he is right.Don''t understand the issue and all of the fuss to be honest, we have a manager that is decisive and clearly skilled in what he does, hence his results, why constantly question and bemoan his calls?
