  1. Interesting one. Good test of where we're at. We really struggled with a Russell Martin side playing how he wanted them to in the second half of last season. I'd be very happy with a point. 1-1
  2. No I think he went back to Basel to work with their youth team or something like that.
  3. I think Cardiff to win at home to QPR looks like crazy good value at Evens so that's my pick for Inchy. For Kiwi - Ben Gibson to be booked at any time is 5/2, if you're feeling really lucky you can get 12/1 for him to be booked first.
  4. With respect, I think some are overlooking how much money 12m is to a club in our situation, and how catastrophic it'd be to lose an asset worth that for free in a years time. Especially when we've already prepared for it and signed a replacement. Even selling to a rival, I don't think turning down the money to have big wages sat unhappy on the bench all season is an option. On a personal note, I wish him well. Been a model pro here, never thrown the toys out. I hope he has a very successful career.
  5. Given we're looking a lot more dangerous from set pieces and Duffy gets his head on everything, £4 for every goal scored by the back four.
  6. Random question, do we still do pledges (quid to csf for every Sargent goal in the season or something like that)? I'm sure in past years there's been a thread but I tried searching for one with no success
  7. All quite recent but in terms of my favourite home/away/third, I really love all of these.
  8. If Aarons and Rashica go I'll be a little disappointed if we don't see any new faces at all. That being said, they have to be an improvement. Signings for the sake of it isn't helping anyone.
  9. I don't want to talk us down, but be real, Aston Villa are a much bigger club than us (as tiresome as the "big club" debate is). Also he's been vindicated in finishing 7th and playing in Europe this season.
  10. Time will tell, but for all the bellyaching we do every time a supposed prospect leaves, there are very few that end up coming back to bite us. If he wanted to go, it makes sense to me.
  11. I actually have a lot of time for Rosenior, but he's making himself look silly here.
  12. I think it's tough to argue the drum didn't enhance the atmosphere on Saturday, though of course the football helped. I'm generally a fan of it, but equally I've never had it parked right behind me. I'm Upper Barclay A block and have a bit of distance from it, so I can't speak to anyone else's experience being next to it.
  13. I agree, couldn't believe they weren't getting waved back to restart.
  14. Not been online here in an age, but lovely to see not only that these picks are still going strong, but you've had a double win to kick the season off. Congrats to both!
  15. £2 on the following Pukki to score 2 or more 3-2 Norwich McClean to score anytime A red card to be shown Sheff Utd HT/Draw FT Sorry these were so late.
  16. Thanks for the suggestions for the city game so far. I'll pick some tomorrow morning as I won't be around much later than that.
  17. I think Sheffield Utd look astoundingly good value to beat Watford away at 13/5 So I'll go with that. For the City game, we're 22/1 to win 3-2 and it's 25/1 for that score to be reversed. Either is probably a good shout.
  18. Small amount of tickets just went back on.
  19. I'm amassing a pile of swaps. Surely between us this forum can get a few finished books.
  20. Late again! Them down the road to beat Tranmere please. 2-0 loss for the City game.
  21. Rotherham to beat Bolton for me please. For the City game, us losing 7-0 is 40/1.
