1. Falling out maybe? Really think he''ll struggle without him. But blimey, aren''t the old Lambert cliches coming pouring out?!
2. Doesn''t sound like anything has happened there. Still here then?
3. I don''t buy that card at all. You can''t know that until another season.
4. "Paul has done his research, he knows our ground & most importantly our base of support. It has been a of fresh air hearing him plan for the summer and certainly the upcoming season." Quote from Randy Lerner. Makes this sound more feasible!
5.
Only reason I will watch is purely to see Karsa & Culverhouse situation, anything else is irrelevant as Lambert now is to me. Did a great job and is rightfully in the HOF, but he''s gone and need to concentrate on our new manager. Would love us to call a press conference for 1PM tomorrow to announce our new boss...that would actually be hilarious
That would make me love McNally more.
6. 87canary I think that''s the right attitude to take to be honest. He''s not one of us anymore, so we shouldn''t bother. I''m only interested to see any news of Cully and what not.
7. I still think we''ll be completely surprised for some reason.
8. I might watch it on mute and make up my own audio... I''m that sad. Going to be a weird old day, may not watch it at all.
9. This has been playing on my mind a couple of days, I was wondering whether you think Paul Lambert worked for Norwich and Norwich worked for Paul. His management career prior to us was nothing spectacular aside from a cup run with Wycombe, but every season you get one. Sometimes it just works for you, the fanbase very loyal, up in Villa it''s different. Footballing men in charge of the club here, Lerner doesn''t seem the most astute in this sporting world - the management fiascos this year and last tell as much. Anyway, we have that closure of seeing him moving on tomorrow... All being well accompanied by our own new manager tomorrow or the following day, according to Foulger. Genuinely interested in what people think about this, not knocking him at all but wondering if it could all unravel. Anyway, Villa v City will be interesting next year for certain! OTBC!!!
10. I think the problems are: 1) The way he''s gone about it, hence the fierce opposition and ridiculing of the lad. 2) He''s already got the security of 2 years, financially wise it could be troublesome to be stuck with a 34 year old not scoring and what not. Yes I know the Davies examples, but I sort of think why not just up his wage a tad and tell him you''re still doing it in 2 years time, you can have another year... 3) Attitude wise he''s far likelier to have more grounds to get this third year if he sorts himself out. He''s not conducting himself very well, I have no doubt Mr. Payne is not helping. He sorts that out, professional and all - it''ll help no end. Whatever happens I think the new manager will be key in what Holt wants to do, no doubt he''s been great for us! I guess at the end of the day a peer into the future would come in handy! Surely a compromise can be met whatever?
11. For Hughton or vice chairman? Confirmed by race organiser or something on Radio Snorefolk - for chairman chatter.
12. I think some people on this thread grew up reading the Hardy Boys...
13. To anyone trying to catch Luc out with the ''school'' card, they don''t have school on Wednesdays in France. So you''ll have no luck there.
14. If you check the Lille forum there''s discussions about the game with Arsenal especially, most Sagna''s injury though I believe. Constant results as well, they certainly keep up to date.
15. We pride ourselves on being excellent fans. Some of us are being rather childish here. If you think it''s rubbish, don''t rise to it, don''t give the satisfaction. Perhaps everyone should take a polygraph and be installed with trackers before they are allowed to join the Pink''Un. Michael Foulger says announcement in 48 hours, so either way we''ll know soon. So pipe down and don''t bite if you don''t believe it, the whole thing looks like kids in the playground. I''m giving the lad the benefit of the doubt for now.
16. Done some digging and our new poster here is NOT the only one saying this. So sounds very, very likely. Foulger said on mic at Yarmouth races.
17. Thanks for passing on the info mate, but put your tin hat on!!!! Haha. We shall wait and see, my gut feeling is by Friday at the latest.
18. http://thepremierleagueowl.com/backing-norwichs-ceo-over-the-grant-holt-issue/ Great read on the Holt thing from neutral POV.
19. I really don''t get what satisfaction and joy people get from trying to prove him wrong... It''s a good shout, would be pleasantly surprised if it came off. I''d much rather discussing potential managers than discussing Grant Holt''s latest titscapade.
20. Wrong of the guy to slate him, bit of a tit. Holt retweeting thing in the first place, bit of a tit.
21. Deary me. He really needs to pipe down and try and act professional. Club doesn''t have a manager, that is going to be the priority. Should bugger off twitter and just enjoy the break anyways.
